I usually come 5 days a week and it's always a challenge and it's always very rewarding. Every single coach has a fun unique POV and they all cultivate safe fitness spaces that feel supportive and encouraging but they also challenge members to hold themselves accountable and go beyond their own preconceived limitations. My favorite coach is Shaq. She's fun, she knows what she's doing and she plays the best music. Oh and I love her dancing. She the best! I love Jeremy too. He's a pusher but he always challenges me to believe in myself and go harder and lift heavier but he still focuses on proper form and technique so I never feel scared or unsure about any of it. I am a healthcare provider that is actively taking care of COVID positive patients and have requested a cancelation of my membership given that I cannot workout with a mask on and the risk of spreading a respiratory disease is very likely. I do not want to take away from the safety of the other patrons at the gym and requested a cancellation of the 6 months prepaid membership I had paid. Instead, the response I got back from management was that they could push my membership back to Dec 2022. However, there is no telling when an effective vaccine will come. I am trying to protect the other members that come to the gym and not put them at greater risk. I wanted to make sure that the other people coming to the gym understand that I am trying to minimize the risk to others but ownership is not letting me do so.

Robin actually talked me into joining in the first place (so I'm more than a little biased about how great she is as a coach!) Jasmine has also been incredible! She knows I'm dealing with a lower back injury, has dealt with something similar herself, and always has a modification in her back pocket! I also love how the week alternates between strength and cardio days. I used to genuinely hate cardio (like avoid-it-at-all-costs hate) and now it's more of a love-hate thing. I started at BFT West U looking for a new style of workout and to re-ignite my love of fitness.
