This charge is an error…read moreand must be removed. On August 11, 2026, I was contacted by a representative from Clayton Eye Center. She explicitly informed me not to report for my appointment on August 12, 2026. She explained that Dr. Ayana Robateau said the appointment had been scheduled in error.I did not attend the appointment solely because the staff instructed me not to come. Therefore, I am not obligated to pay the 40.00 fee. This company is bad when to their errors. There horrible when it comes refunding monies not owed to them.

Let me start this by saying your eye sight is not something to take chances with. I was referred…read moreto Dr Joon Kim for cataract surgery. Red flags came up during the consult and I should have pulled the plug. I finally make it to the surgery center in Morrow, Ga and it was a total nasty dump. The rest rooms were torn apart literally and it stunk to high heaven. It was 7:30 in the morning and the waiting room was small and packed with 50 or more people already. There were check in kiosks in the foyer that had lines of people and people at the desk with nothing to do. I asked them to check me in at the desk. A nice young lady was about to help me and the guy next to her rudely told me to go back to the kiosks and checkin. Do these dipshyts understand that my vision is not good and I'm there for help? Apparently not. Long story short, I found the facility to be a dump. The staff was very unprofessional and not attentive. The equipment was breaking down. The surgery prep room was about 8 feet by 10 feet. There were 5 other people in there with 8 staff and desks. I thought about getting off the gurney and walking out. I should have. I caught a severe respiratory infection that took 10 weeks to overcome. Once healed, it was a success, however, this was a scarry shit show. It's a little house of horrors! The respiratory issue costs me several trips to my regular doctor, and some expensive dental work. I was eating cough drops for weeks. It damaged a tooth and filling and even cracked a root in another tooth. Now I must have a tooth extracted and a bridge. Dr Kim apparently is a good surgeon, however, he has severe personality issues and ego issues. I dont' trust him at all. I refused to go back for the 2nd surgery and I requested another surgeon and clinic. The second time is with Dr Patel with Thomas eye clinic. He comes highly recommended and the clinic is very clean and the staff is very professional. A completely different experience. Lesson learned from this: do your research on the service provider before letting them cut you or treat you in any way.

However, I was told my glasses would take approximately 4-6 weeks to arrive. As of June 22, more than three months later, I still have not received them. I have called the office multiple times and have been told they are waiting on my insurance. After contacting my insurance company directly, I was informed that payment for the services had already been made. While my experience with the doctor and staff was positive, the lack of communication and the extended delay in receiving my glasses has been very frustrating. I would appreciate more transparency and follow-up regarding the status of orders."

Unless you have absolutely nothing else to do I would go to before returning here. On a good note the staff was very professional and helpful. They are appreciated. So by chance you still book this place make an afternoon appointment maybe just maybe the optometrist will have arrived.

Good Evening Fellow parents,…read more I would like to start off by saying that this office was referred to me by my sister as my niece used to go here. The reason why I am giving this office a 1 star is because of the level of care. We book an appointment early in the morning to be seen for the first time. I waited over an hour and a half to be seen. My appointment was scheduled for 9:00 am but was not seen until nearly an hour and half b/c of how busy this office is with lots of people. I would like to mention that the issue did not happen in the Riverdale office but rather in the Stockbridge office that they recently combined. It was the initial visit for my newborn and he had a diaper rash that wouldn't go away so I waited patiently to be seen. The lady at the front desk had a bad attitude when checking you in, the nurses in the practice that I encountered were nice. The female dr that saw my son answered all of my questions and concerns however I did not feel that we connected to continue seeing her. Nonetheless, I took her advise regarding my son's rash which happen to be an Yeast infections. She prescribed ointment and we did the treatment at home. The rash wouldn't go away after a few days and this truly worry me. I called the office and spoke to a nurse who mention to mix the ointment with hydrocortisone and Destin and see a difference. I took the advise and did not see any improvement. After researching online, I ended up using corn starch one time and the rash cleared up. I did used hydrocortisone afterwards to help heal. During the checkout process in the initial visit, the lady was short, no eye contact and was only there to book 2 - 3 appointments in advance. I only booked the 2nd visit and did not want to do any more bookings. The big issue happened with them when I signed a medical release form to switch practices because I did not feel that this practice care and did not like the check in process and the things I saw while seating with other clients. This practice was crowded and the process felt rushed and asking questions felt like bothersome. I called the office the day before my last appointment to confirm and they advised me that we were still scheduled for the next day only to come in wait another 35 minutes for them to tell me that they cannot take me since I am changing practices. This all could have been avoided with a phone call. I was so upset about the process because the medical release forms were signed over a week and a half prior to the appointment and supposedly they had faxed the information on that Tuesday prior to my Friday appointment that week. I left quite upset however remained professionally and called the office once I was calm to ask for them to send me the medical records directly. I paid $25.00 since the previous practice claimed that they hadn't received the forms. I believe the office manager or a staff provided me the information right away and I did not look back afterwards. I do not recommend this practice b/c of the multitude of clients, the process feels rush, the care does not appear genuine and some of the staff are not friendly. I would think twice than providing your money to a practice that does not uphold customer service or care standards. Thank you.
