The reason for my 1 star is due to their office policy on remaking lenses. I got my first pair of progressive lenses in May and could not function with them. I couldn't see my monitor for work making them impossible to wear. I also had trouble backing up my car while wearing them. I was told they could move the progressive line, but in doing so, the reading portion would almost be gone making them pointless. I opted for going back to single vision lenses as it was my only option. When my lenses came in, I asked about being refunded the difference in price and was advised their policy is to not refund any differences in cost of remakes. So I am out the $100 difference. We will not be returning and I will be sure to make sure anyone I know that goes there knows to be careful because of this policy.

He goes back and tells them they are not the right lenses. This went on for over a month, and not getting the lenses correct. Finally, when he picked them up yesterday, they were the correct lenses. They called him a thief; they wanted another $350 for the lens they had finally fixed. They wanted the lenses back that were correct. Also, they lost the old lenses. Somehow, they found the lenses this morning when my husband went back in. Whoever the overweight woman was who called him a thief would not talk to him and apologize for calling him a thief. She had her assistant help my husband. My husband and his children have been going there for over 15 years. He has the same problem every time. I just started going there, and they kept wanting me to do eye exams when I only wanted to get my glasses updated. Just be warned. This place will take your money, give you exams over and over, give you the wrong glasses, and call you a thief when you just wanted to fix the problem they caused. My family will be going else where.

Tried ordering glasses on the website pair because I lost my old pair and needed new ones for cheap and didn't have my prescription on me. I'm in fort wayne currently with my newborn in the NICU so going home to search for it was not an option, so the website said they could contact the office for it. I quickly got an email saying that the office said I wasn't a patient of theirs. Of all things that bother me, it's lying. There's no excuse for it. So why they did, I don't know, but I had to call them to straighten it out. And oh my lord what a headache. The woman was refusing to simply read a few numbers out loud on the phone. Talk about laziness! I even explained that, no, I can not come in and physically pick up my prescription, and that I didn't need a new prescription or anything physical, all I needed was a few numbers read out loud to me. It was that simple! But she wanted to give me attitude and refuse to do the most simple task that I could have possibly asked for. Thankfully a family member near by is able to stop in, but they're just going to do what I asked for in the beginning, call me and read out loud numbers on a paper. I think it's insanely childish and petty to first of all lie, and then secondly get an attitude just because they were called out on it, and then refuse a simple task, aka their job, because they're mad. They claimed it was illegal which is such a reach, I would have been glad to provide any sort of identifying information needed, but the entire conversation she had an attitude! I always thought they were a bit unpleasant coming in to pick things up but this really solidified my opinion of them. It's a shame because again like I said the doctors there are great, but the receptionists really ruin it!

I have never had a more comprehensive exam. I'm old, so I've had quite a few. I had never seen pictures on the computer of my retina, and other parts of the eye . Everyone is friendly and patient. Very thorough. Always wanting to know if you have any questions. And when you do, they take the time to talk to you. Really talk to you, not some standard answer. Honestly, I've never felt better walking out of an optometrist office, knowing my eyes are going to be well taken care of.
