    Graham cracker cookie
    William S.

Was en route to the Cuyahoga Scenic Railway when I popped in here for a coffee and I'm glad I did! I don't know much about coffee but that was one of the best cups I've ever had. I asked for the equivalent of the large drip and they poured it over on a scale which was fantastic. Then the graham cracker cookie they had in there was excellent, very cool inside as well. 5/5

Nice spot in the middle of downtown where you can grab a a coffee and walk around the city. Our barista was very nice and took time to describe all the pastries when asked, recommending good picks. I had a chocolate latte, not a very strong chocolate flavor but still a good latte nonetheless! The inside is quite small but a good place to bring a book or a friend. Not suitable for a big group of people.

Espresso macchiato with homemade almond milk delicious.

Best coffee place within an hour drive. The coffee here is amazing. The coffee beans are absolutely delicious and fresh roasted at this location.

Cold pour over and oatmilk matcha
    Chance P.

The cold pour over coffee that I got here was great but the matcha could have been better. They didn't have any caramel to add to make it a little sweeter and this matcha just wasn't good enough to not have something sweetened in it (They had other syrups just not caramel). Inside there was a local artist that was selling prints and displaying some pieces. It made the space very lively. He even gave us a small free print. The staff was also fast and efficient with taking multiple orders.

I was so looking forward to a good drink. The staff recommended a matcha latte. I got it with almond milk and a bit of honey. Unfortunately, it was not good. A waste of $5 :( The matcha powder was not well mixed in that I got clumps of powder with each sip.... Also the size of the drink is so small!! It's like half of a Starbucks tall. Ambiance wise, this cafe seemed like a good study place but my drink was so disappointing that it makes me hesitant to recommend it. Maybe their espresso drinks are better, who knows.

Amazing coffee and solid avocado toast made right in front of you! Huge fan of the fresh coffee along with amazing food. Service is friendly and patient. Mocha was good but I like the club soda with espresso better! I think I got it with elderflower and it was really good. Seating and a cool place to chill.

I was in town for a wedding and stopped here to grab a quick coffee the morning of the wedding. The coffee was excellent! The man working was very friendly and helpful when deciding what to get. We watched him make everything right in front of us and was pretty quick. It wasn't very busy when we went and the vibe of the shop was super cute! There was a little bit of seating but seemed to be more of a grab and go place. Overall glad I stopped by and would recommend checking this place out!

When I say best coffee in North East Ohio, one of the first that comes to mind is ACR. I just don't know what it is about this place but it literally is just SO good.Every time I go, I get a honey latte and everytime it is the definition of perfect. It's such a simple space with simple menu options and that's maybe what I like the best about it. My coffee was creamy, the perfect amount of sweetness to coffee ratio, so smooth, and all A girl could ever want in a cup of coffee. Also, my barista was incredible. One of those baristas who is actually interested in your life and your day, and those really are the best people to make you a cup of coffee to begin your day. 10/10 vibes for sure. When in downtown Akron, ACR is a must visit. It's such a gem!

Avocado toast and a cappuccino. Always great.

Best coffee in Akron. Their toast and baked goods are a great pairing. The nitro cold brew doesn't need anything added it's perfect.

Yes!! This is how you do coffee! I had the Peru pour-over, as did my friend. My other friend had the honey cortado, made with local honey from Akron Honey. They also make their own almond milk in-house. Wowzers! Super friendly manager. Clean and nice venue attached to the world's cutest theater, which was all decked out for Halloween. You guys wowed me! I can't wait to come back and to also try your new venue in the Falls when it opens. Love everything about this small business.

I discovered Pearl a few years ago through word of mouth and my employer where Pearl Coffee was sold and served. This is a review of my personal visits to their place of business on Broadway. In the last 5 months I've bought a pound of coffee every several weeks. I usually showed up on a weekday shortly before closing. I've tried a single origin Ethiopian, their Pumpkin Spice blend, and their Diana Blend. For my experience purchasing coffee and asking about available coffee it seems Pearl primarily roasts medium to dark coffees. The Diana Blend is their lightest roast. I usually drink single origin light roasts from microroasters and their Diana Blend is more like a medium roast. The Diana Blend is a really enjoyable blend and it's no wonder it is their best selling. It's consistently good as well. I think they have over 30 different coffees, from Pumpkin Spice to single origins from Ethiopia. I like the variety. Whole bean and ground coffee available. They also sell syrups, some tea bags and other season items. Buying at their Broadway location is easy and simple. When I first visited I didn't know what I wanted and they were able to offer me a couple coffees based on my preferences. I've stuck with the Diana Blend because it's good and right now it's $7.50 a pound. I believe you can order ahead and pick up at the store. I've seen orders sitting out. The staff are very nice and friendly. Walking into the store is like walking back into history with the pictures and newspapers clippings on the walls telling the history of Pearl Coffee and the old coffee equipment on display. Their connection to the local community and relationship with their patrons is evidenced by the many pictures of their patrons on the walls. Their is also a little section in the back with other coffee decorative items, I believe. I sort of remember wandering back there while waiting. Try some coffee from Pearl Coffee. I recommend their Diana Blend.

The interior vibes are the same; open, spacious, and clean. However, the food and most importantly, the staff, no longer maintain the quality that made me a regular in the first place. Artisan used to have amazing coffee and excellent food, but the coffee is no longer very good. I think this is due to the staff. The food has significantly declined in quality. The hollandaise on their breakfast sandwich is now a broken, greasy mess. The "sourdough" is generic white bread. What's even worse than the food is the staff. In the last two years, the staff has degenerated to an incompetent , bedraggled mess. The staff has never had to wear a uniform, but perhaps it's time for them to institute one. In my last several visits, I've seen grossly oversized clothes that have the staff looking like they just rolled out of bed. Hair is unkempt, not brushed, loose, and hanging down past their shoulders. A recipe for getting hair in my food. Furthermore, the staff is no longer smiling or friendly and can't answer basic questions about the menu. They seem confused about where they are and the service they provide. On top of all this, they maintain their strict breakfast timeframe. Why they have decided to stick to antiquated time limits for the food that is always available in their kitchen is beyond me. The barest minimum of market research would show how popular breakfast sandwiches are all day. What once was a vibrant, friendly coffee shop with great food, good coffee, and pleasant employees now feels like a dressed up McDonalds.

This place is a charmer for sure and has a vibe to it that is cozy. The space itself is larger than what I was expecting and it was nice that they offered additional parking across the street as their lot is small and gets full very quickly. The space also has a stage and lots of windows for natural light which I loved. The baristas were all very friendly and knowledgeable about the different drinks and what they offered, which was really nice. Unfortunately, I did not try any food, but their menu offers a wide range of breakfast and lunch options including sandwiches, soups, bakery and more. I reached for the cold brew and a friend got a lavander matcha lattee. The drinks were good, nothing out of this world but I was glad they offered additional cream, sugar, etc out in the open in case people decided they wanted to add anything to their drinks. They offer a wide range of drinks including some really interesting specialty drinks which all sound fun to try. Overall, Artisan Coffee is a cute, charming coffee shop that offers a wide variety of food and drink and I am sure you will find something you enjoy at this cafe. If I am ever in the area again, I would definitely consider coming back here to sit down rather than to-go.

I found free parking right across the street and the moment I walked in I was greeted with a friendly hello. The space itself is what I would describe as rustic, cozy, homey, a bit country. Hopefully that's enough adjectives to paint a picture for you. I ordered a lavender latte with oat milk and one of their cheddar scones. For both, it was under $10. I grabbed a seat in the front window where there was a ton of sunshine. However, there was a bigger room with even more seating options. It didn't take long for my items to be ready. My scone, which they recommended heated up, was delicious and I ate it in a jiffy. My latte was exactly what I needed and helped bring me back to life. The wifi was strong and I was able to get a bit of work done. There was very much a community vibe throughout the place, as the staff knew the customers. I even witnessed them offer a free coffee to the fella cleaning the windows outside. Great service, great coffee, tasty pastry, what more could a girl ask for?

Each of us were asked to bring something from our hometown, so I brought "Coffee Bill", since William McKinley is such a big part of Canton's history.
