The reindeer stew was similar to a beef stew, but the reindeer is leaner, so didn't taste as heavy, which is a good thing. Over some mashed potatoes with a gravy and herbs and a side of lingonberry, it completed the meal. It also came with a side of complimentary bread, which is not always the case at other restaurants. That was a nice bonus though because the bread helped soaked up the stew. Perfection!

Ordered the fried Brussels sprouts as a snack and the eggs, bacon and hash browns as a main w/ locally made sourdough bread from a local bakery on the side. The food was all presented well and tasted great. The hash browns were less shredded potatoes as puréed, then fried. (still tasted fine) and the eggs were scrambled perfectly with the bacon crisped up and sprinkled on top with some sprouts. The bread came lightly oiled and fried (so no need for butter). The Brussels sprouted were roasted with some peppers and served on top of some aioli. Service was great, food was great and will come back at least one more time before I leave town. Yes, it's pretty expensive (this all ran me ~$35 converting from NOK to USD) but Norway in general has a high cost of living, so this is on par with any other sit down meal in a comparable restaurant.
