tldr; SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY AND GO ANYWHERE ELSE.[[HIGHLIGHT]]They didn't mention that Dr Akers is gone from back surgery.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My 2pm appointment took until 4:30 pm to see Dr. Cook, for literally 2 minutes, just to be told that she can't adjust my neck or any other part of my body. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I told the front desk what happened and they just shrugged and still charged me $95.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This was my worst chiropractic experience i have had in over 20 years of getting adjustments from different doctors at different offices. I decided to try this place because Dr. Akers has mostly good reviews. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was not until I was there for my appointment with him that I heard them tell another patient he was gone for the foreseeable future from back surgery.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]So I almost left after hearing that but they assured me that Dr. Cook was a good chiropractor and I was in good hands.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There are so many annoying things about this place but here are a few. After waiting in the waiting room for almost an hour then they literally made me watch a video about "what chiropractic work is." [[HIGHLIGHT]]I had to sit there and wait then they eventually came back in and asked me all the questions I had already answered on the forms.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Dr. Cook is nice but she is very small and timid with her adjusting style. She barley moved my neck and said she couldn't adjust it. Then she used an electric activator on my back for less than two mins, which not only didn't feel good but it was actually painful with how hard it was on and how she was using it on my spine and then she was DONE. read more

I have been going to physical therapy for neck and shoulder pain, but it hasn't been enough. I thought I would try seeing a recommended chiropractic for a change. While being assessed Dr. Akers was courteous, attentive and right to the point. He wrote up a plan, received a treatment and he adjusted some joints in my neck. I needed to see a Chiropractor and my PCP got an approval for me but when I did a search on them the hours weren't right for my schedule, and I just wasn't feeling the energy. Dr. Akers seems to know Chiropractic therapy , he is very busy but finds the time to assist his clients with thorough care. You will either like him or not. I like him, he does talk more than the patient but he actively listens to my concerns too. I have been with the same Chiropractor since 2014, he had to retire and I found Dr Akers through mutual community partners. He has the Best team members . Terry has been treating me since 1995. From 2012 until yesterday, I hadn't seen him cause my condition was much improved. I went back with a new acute condition that I had been suffering with for about 2 weeks. Like really bad! After just one session yesterday I was 80% better because of him and his staff.
