First let me tell you how awesome Dr. Sim and his crew is... the receptionist Gianna is such a nice lady with a great welcoming smile, and another lady who take care of me was great didn't catch her name. the office was so easy to find just right across from TruFusion the building across the street from TruFusion, and a lot of parking space. The office is in the right side when you enter the building. I love the diffuser at the reception area. Smells really good. So Dr. Sim don't take any insurance just so u know, but don't let that stop you for seeing him! Initial consultation would be $70 and if he adjust or start doing what he do best that another $40 and then $40 for the next visit you see him. (Believe me you'll be wanting to see him again, as I am which I have my next appointment book next month! And my bf is about to see him next month as well. First to be honest I was super scared to do this but my TMJ was bothering me a more than usual. Soon as Dr. Sim starts talking and doing his thing I became more relax and enjoyed the whole process of it. A lot people are skeptical about chiropractor don't get me wrong I'm the same with a lot of stuff that's why there's a consultation first and always get an advice from whoever Doctor you're seeing. Dr. Sim, The Miracle Worker. That is what I think about when I reflect on how ChiropracTED and Dr. Ted Sim revolutionized my life and taught me the importance of spinal health. For many people, leaving reviews of Dr. Sim and his team often stem from a referral due to being in a car accident. While that is wonderful, and I have nothing but excitement for those stories and reviews, my experience with ChiropracTED is very different. Here's my story! As a performing artist, I often put my body through great stress for the sake of art and bringing entertainment to the masses. Despite the stretching and training, you learn very quickly that you take aspirin and move on with your life when you get an ache or pain. Little did I know that in bringing beauty to the stage, my bones would suffer the ultimate price. One fateful evening, while dancing, I experienced the worst pain I could have ever possibly imagined. Unbeknown to me, my spine's imperfections had enough of putting on a show, and I ended up acquiring 3 bulging discs in my back. For the next month, I underwent constant consultations with physicians who stuck me full of steroids. Physicians who dismissed me and told me I would never dance again and that my only recourse was to have surgery on my spine. While I knew Dr. Sim from previous encounters, and I had a little knowledge about spinal subluxations and spinal health from writing about Dr. Sim, never did I imagine I would lay on his adjusting table and feel the incredible sorrow of recalling those dreaded words, "You will never perform again," that was once spoken to me by the army of practitioners I had seen before. But there I was, weeping in front of Dr. Sim, believing the only love I had known was gone. In working with me, Dr. Sim and his staff showed incredible passion toward a body deformed. Dr. Sim uttered, "Why are you crying?" Words that would live in my heart forever. It wasn't that I felt he wanted to dismiss my emotions, but for the first time, someone wanted to understand why having this injury pushed me into a feeling I would never understand. Dr. Sim took time to speak with me and gave me hope that I would recover and that my body was much stronger than I thought. Since my injury, I have learned so much more about the importance of spinal health. Dr. Sim taught me that spinal health is more than healing from an injury but about taking care of your temple. I had to wait almost one hour from the first visit. I had to asked 3 times to find out what's taking so long. Nothing! Will be right with you. I just saw this business through Yelp. It had great reviews. I expected the actual provider will adjust me. But had two different ones during the week. Mike was great but Saturday he wasn't that good. He was not able to adjust me well and it hurts. You would think Ted would come but the only answer I get is he is not available. But normally he comes on weekends. I would probably see Mike but just not happy with the service. The billing person would never return my call to tell me I have 20 visits through my insurance.
