The challenge: the line had to penetrate a shear wall into the garage -- already packed with HVAC, gas lines, and existing electrical -- and then find its way to the laundry room in the center of the house. We fully expected to be patching sheetrock on at least one wall when it was all over. Ed Electric surprised us completely. Not only did they identify a far simpler and smarter route into the house that we never would have thought of, but they ran the line in a way that is completely hidden yet fully accessible -- and not a single piece of sheetrock was touched. The finished result looks clean and professional, as if it had always been there. Their quote was fair, and they showed up to start the work the very next day. No waiting around, no runaround. What truly made the experience stand out was the owner taking time after the job to have a genuine conversation with me about how someone I know might pursue a career as a licensed electrician, and the state of the profession in the Bay Area. That kind of generosity -- going beyond the job to be helpful as a person -- is something you don't forget. Ed Electric is exactly the kind of local contractor San Rafael is lucky to have. Highly, highly recommended.

It is supposed to turn the lights on and off when it senses you walk in and out. The universe had other plans. It tuned on and off when the wind blew, when I sneezed, when the dog barked. I faced that fear because I just couldn't take it. I used a yelps handy dandy helper for someone to come. Someone licensed and professional. My only regret was not doing this sooner! Omar was the electrician who came into my home, wore a mask (I am immunocompromised), and did the work neatly, efficiently, and professionally. If you need an electrician, this one is the one I am so glad I chose. Bookmark it especially if you own your home because you know, you'll eventually need this. Fiver for perfection. Thanks Omar!

Henry's Quality Electric when my solar inverter needed replacement. Even though they didn't perform that work themselves, they referred me to one of their installers and, in the process, saved me money by bypassing the markup they could have charged. That level of honesty is pretty rare. They could easily have kept the work in-house or added a layer of profit, but instead they focused on what was best for me as the customer. They also followed up several times by email to make sure everything was going smoothly and that I was happy with the outcome. Great customer service and a company that clearly values long-term relationships over short-term profit. Highly recommended.

They gave us a sliding scale depending on labor for specific jobs. When they invoiced us, they included receipts for parts... this is something that we rarely see but it creates a sense of trust and honesty. There are no surprises. Our first job was a lesser, more simple, job-we had at few sockets replaced one of which was a very loose socket that we were concerned about arcing. The second job was more extensive as there were several "needs" in one day. They replaced overhead light fixtures (3 of them), replaced an old and VERY outdated (probably from when our house was built over 35 years ago!) smoke/fire alarm, and installed bedside wall mounted lights. They are GORGEOUS!! On their third visit soon, we will have heated flooring in our master bedroom installed. B. Henry's Quality Electric is the place to go for your electrical needs. The team is nothing but helpful, and professional. They are community oriented and are always there to help when you have an electrical need. It's nice to have an Electrician that you can trust especially when it gets to be overwhelming not knowing what needs to be fixed. We heard about them from word of mouth, and those people are ABSOLUTELY correct. Thank you Bill and your team... and we will see you again soon!

Dawid & co. installed a new dedicated 240V/50A hot tub circuit with 80 ft of 3/4" EMT conduit from the garage for us. This included #6 THHN conductors, a #8 grounding conductor, installation of the hot tub panel and GFCI breakers, a flexible conduit connection to the hot tub, and system testing, as well as completely handling our permit and inspection. I didn't know how to do any of this. We've never owned a hot tub before. But from the initial site visit onward, Dawid made this process so simple and reassuring. His approach to communication and planning is the best of any skilled tradesman I have ever worked with. His bid was incredibly clear and at a competitive price, and when it came time to do the work, he and his colleague were on time and did a great job. Everything happened exactly how he described it would, with no surprises, and he was very patient in addressing any questions we had. He was also great with our dog, which is an added indication of what a nice person he is. Moving forward, DB Pro Electric is the only electrician I will ever use. A fantastic experience overall.

My wife and I had just bought a Tesla and wanted to install a fast charger in our garage. Some of our neighbors had fast chargers installed and they paid as much as $1,700 for the installation alone! I called around and was consistently quoted over $1K and was even quoted a starting price of $1,200 from one of the most well known companies in the area that specialize in this. Towery Electric was the only company that I called that gave me an honest assessment about how much it might cost to have the charger installed. They told me that the cost could depend on several factors (distance to the panel, quality of the panel and breakers, etc.). And at the end of the call, they told me that based on my situation and set up, that it would probably be best to be charged by the hour ($150/hour) and that it would probably be a 3-4 hour job. After finally receiving the charger in the mail, I called Towery to make the appointment. They called me back right away and I was set up with an appointment the next morning! The electrician they sent came right on time, and after just a little over 3 hours, they were done! Total cost was just under $600 which included material costs! The installation was super clean, looks professional and cost half as much as most of the quotes I had gotten from other companies! Definitely a recommend from me!
