It's much less intimidating than most shops with loud music and a bunch of workers watching you. Customer service is great, tho it took a few seconds for someone to come to scan ID's. I brought my pet and everyone was so calm and kind with him. I like all the strains and products, however I'm not a massive fan of prebagged flower which was what was available that day. If you're going for anything else its super nice and convenient location for southside and hillside. 10/10 would recommend

They always have a wide variety of strains from multiple producers in stock. It's fun to go in and see what's new, chat with the tenders to see what they've been enjoying, and do some evaluating of my own. The bud tenders here are interested in more than just checking you out. I'm sure they enjoy the business, but they seem to genuinely enjoy discussing the product. Tenders interested and knowledgeable of the products they are selling are very helpful. I like how the tenders accommodate me when I'm running in for a quick bag, but are receptive and informative when I do have time to shop around more. This place is cool.

If they do well, it may be a real boon for other business owners in the area. As soon as I walked into this CAVERNOUS retail space, it was apparent the owner is a visionary with real business sense. I immediate discerned the plan is for this to be a gathering space. I confirmed with the owner that if things go as planned and ordinances allow, this will be Alaska's first location where public consumption of cannabis is permitted. Tourists, take note- this is a boon for you! There's a couple other neato things about this place that are fairly unique. It shall be quite interesting to see how it all shakes out. At present, their products are quite limited and cost a bit more than other places in town. I still prefer my main place. Flower is hit or miss. Sometimes it's so so dry it's crumbly and no good. I've been in a few times and they're out of prerolls or it is a very small selection. Though once I was allowed to pick flower and they rolled it for me which was amazing, but then the next time when I asked it seemed an inconvenience (they were not busy.) They have a reward punch card system, which is cool, but it doesn't apply to prerolls (which is what I buy usually as it's an occasional purchase.)
