Basically, you sign up and pay in advance, and then every week for 23 weeks beginning in June you get delicious, farm fresh produce and, if you like, eggs, fruit, herbs, yoghurt, and cheese. N & I got a half share and an egg share last summer, and this summer we're adding a fruit share as well. A half share gets you 6 items each week and a dozen eggs every other week. The fruit share will provide a selection of fruits every other week as well. Both quality and convenience make Red Earth Farm special. First of all, most CSAs just give you whatever veggies they want. With Red Earth Farm, you go online each week and choose from the produce they're harvesting that week. Second, the food is all so fresh and delicious you won't believe it. You'll be eating your veggies and asking for more. The stuff is about 24 hours out of the fields when it arrives at your pickup location. And the eggs, which come from free range hens on a nearby farm, have the yellowest yolks and the best flavor ever. I've never tasted eggs like these.
