I love the produce here, particularly that which is grown by Bests! And their peaches are the absolute best ( no pun intended) in NJ!!!

Love this farm! Best in town. Pun intended. The peaches are all hand-picked by the owner! The cider is incredible.

Absolutely love it here! It's about an hour away from us but we love taking the drive. Came in on…read moreValentine's Day and got the peanut mocha latte (so good), some focaccia with brie and fig jam.. amazeeeee. My cinnamon bun tasted a little overdone honestly but I will just tell myself that was a fluke. My husband loved his blackberry vanilla scone too! Well be back as always

I've left a 5 star review for Windy Brow's coffee and farm store, but would like to leave another 5…read morestar for their wood fired pizza and ice cream!!!! It was such a beautiful night, my parents and I came and we each got our own pizza. Pizza came out in maybe 15 minutes, we sat and waited and just chilled. It was a beautiful night. I am so appreciative that Windy Brow has a vegan cheese option, so I could be included! I got the Margherita pizza and subbed vegan cheese. The crust and dough were incredible - so fluffy, perfectly crispy, amazing thick crust. The vegan cheese was also great, and the sauce too. Just a perfect pizza. My dad got a regular Margherita and loved it, and my mom got the fungi pizza with mushrooms and was raving about it. My boyfriend got the pig and fig and (of course) loved it as well. We all raved to each other about how amazing everything was. For a farm to do something like this when they don't need to, shows that they love what they do! You can really feel the love in the pizza. We then got ice cream after since the ice cream stand was still open. I got the vegan dark chocolate sea salt (literally incredible, perfect consistency, I love hard ice cream so this was amazing), my boyfriend got Madagascar vanilla and said it was a perfect classic vanilla, my dad said the cherry vanilla was the best he's ever had, and my mom who doesn't love ice cream got the lemon blueberry butter cake and was raving about it. Phenomenal job!!!!! So appreciative to live near a spot like this. Blessings!

My last visit there started off very nice two newer employees there who were very helpful spent about 25 minutes there, purchased some Vegs and plants. As i loaded them into my car i was walked past Christine, Fred's daughter. I don't know if she is taking a more active role in management but she question if i bought my flowers, i said yes. Then She asked if i brought them inside. I said no, Theresa saw what i had on the side. I asked if she wanted to see the receipt. Then she questioned me again, i went in to get Theresa to verify it paid. never in all my years have i been treated that way. I posted my experience and she has then message me twice, one for justifying her actions and she didn't know why i reacted that way, second messaged me threatening to sue me for slander for posting my experience there. This is my personal experience with shopping at our local nursery and feel other customers should know about it. A negative review is not slander. Threatening a loyal customer if 15 years, who's children worked for your father is not slander. That was my experience. There are other very lovely nursery's to chose from. - flowerland, white township - Mackeys, Belvidere - Marshals, Delaware nj - Fern Valley, Washington nj. New and super nice with farm raised meats - not a nursery but Orchard View Lavendar Farm is beautiful to visit - peaceful gardens, phillipsburg Just a few that i have personally shopped at with excellent customer service.

They have several food trucks with lots of different choices. They have a nice farmer's market that is nicely decorated and has plenty of items for sale. They have a great selection of pies too. Also, there is an ice cream stand next to the market opened daily, all ice cream is homemade and fresh! Their hot apple cider and cinnamon donut was a great treat! Since finding Ort Farms is not too far from us, we'll be back next year once the crops are back in season.

I found out about Ort Farms from a billboard I saw driving down 17. I wanted to find a farm that…read morehad a pumpkin patch but still had apple picking, and Ort Farms had both - so it was perfect! It was about an hour drive from me, so it wasn't too bad. We came on the last Sunday of September, so the pumpkin patch and hayrides were already open (I believe they open mid-September) but they still had some late varieties of apples. They had some veggies available for picking too - tomatoes, peppers, and eggplants. You just need to purchase a bag and you can use it for both. Admission was about $15 per adult, which you have to purchase online. Kids 3 and under are free. We did the 9:30 time slot but didn't get there until 10, which didn't seem to be an issue. It's definitely best to go early so you can avoid as much of the crowd as possible. We spent almost three hours there and it was crowded by the time we left. The good thing about going in September is that most people don't want to go until October, so you get to avoid that mess. But the bad thing is that it's still probably really hot and if you're picking fruits/veggies in hot weather, it's not the most fun. By the time we were done picking apples and veggies, we were all hot and tired by the time we got to the pumpkin patch. So I'd suggest doing all of your photo ops at the pumpkin patch first and then doing all the manual labor. They have a few food trucks in one area and the apple cider slush was nice and refreshing after picking fruit. They also have a farm store with your usual suspects - pies, apple cider donuts, pre-made salads/sandwiches, etc., but we didn't buy anything. I think I found our new go-to farm. It's nice that you can kill two birds with one stone. I saw they have U-cut Christmas trees in December so I'm interested to see if they're doing any Christmas events - I wouldn't mind making the drive back.
