I have Queen size comforters which are too big for me to wash at home and the thought of having to wait at the laundromat is just not that appealing, AJ's solves the problem. For a reasonable fee you can drop the bedding off and they will handle the washing, drying, and folding and wrap up your clean laundry. They are also super fast and are finished before their promised time. read more

Some of my clothes were missing from first time I used their service I tried calling to ask about it lady who answered was rude no customer service at all said it's not out responsibility for your clothes being lost it's yours we throw them away if we find them left here. I gave them benefit of the doubt & tried to go back a second time since they are close by my house I ended up leaving without washing they lady who was working behind the desk was rude when I was trying to buy laundry detergent. Wouldn't recommend going to them If you are like me & appreciate customer service & all your clothes accounted for! read more

We were with them since 2020 but as of today we won't be working with them. Their customer service people or the people that answer their phone line are rude and speak spanish in the background saying there's no order , or they can't find anything & they don't do anything to resolve the issue when they can't figure out why my order was missed , lost or not picked up. I can understand everything since I speak Spanish myself. Today after 6 years of dealing with this experience constantly I asked to speak to the supervisor because they hung up on me when I asked if they were going to come today for the scheduled pick up. I have to repeatedly call for missed pick ups or missed drop offs and she said there's no supervisor and no owner to speak to. When I let her know the last person on the phone was speaking spanish and hung up on me she said "is it a problem?" I said "of course it's a problem, that's not professional, as a business owner myself ai would like to let the supervisor or owner know how bad the phone service is." She asked if I had a business account or JUST a regular , As if being a regular isn't important enough. Ultimately they don't can't care about following the pick up schedule, their online platform somehow doesn't communicate with their phone line , office or drivers. I need a laundry service that's on auto repeat with reliable service so as of today I will stop using them. read more

AJ's Laundry Star - Laundromat Near Me - Las Vegas, Nevada

My spouse and I use the wash and fold service here whenever we're in Vegas and it's just wonderful! Every single worker I've ever interacted with here has been sweet and helpful. Very close to the Las Vegas Thousand Trails (and other RV parks) if you're an RVer like us! read more

Staying in an Airbnb without laundry facilities, I was hesitant to use a local laundromat due to some past poor experiences. But I had no choice--and I'm so glad I found AJ's Local Laundry Star. The moment I walked in, my faith was restored! This place is immaculate, and they have a wide range of modern machines--some of which can handle 2 to 8 loads simultaneously. I was genuinely surprised at how far laundry technology has come! Not only was it fast and efficient, but everything worked perfectly. What truly sets this place apart, though, are the people. I met Tina Marie and Dianne, who take pride in their work. They go above and beyond to keep the space spotless and welcoming. They even have a coin-dispensing machine, so no need to scramble for quarters before you arrive. All in all, I had the most divine customer experience--quick, clean, and completely hassle-free. Highly recommend if you're in the area! read more

Don't go here they always close and hour an a half to 2 hours. When doors are locked they won't let anyone else in

So I put on 30 minutes on dryer 31 and kept checking on the temperature. I was warm to say the least. I informed the tender and all she did was clean the filter and told me pretty much that all the machines work differently. I would agree with that statement. But, as soon as she cleaned the filter, the dryer was hotter and half ass dried my clothes. I've been coming to this location for a while, and when I do have any issue, the older black lady helps fix the issue, but the lady in the picture pretty much told me "luck of the draw". To me the black older lady goes above and beyond customer service, the lady in the picture is the total opposite, piss poor service... read more

I was happy until I got my comforter home and noticed these hard spots on it! I'm Not sure what happened but I had it in the top dryer and when I returned it was in the bottom. I asked and the lady said it wasn't drying..I said ok but didn't expect for my sheets to have water spots and my comforter to be ruined!!!! This comforter set is brand new. This is not cool! read more

clean but over half the dryers couldn't be used through the app they have I loaded all my dryers up then when it wouldn't work on the app I asked and they said they weren't working through the app only with quarters no sign or anything that mentioned that so it was pretty annoying having to move everything all over again double the work. read more

So this review is regarding aj's laundry on nellis, so I'm not exactly sure where to begin but here we go, I've been going here for a while now and have bit my tongue on numerous occasions about certain things I find to be a total headache to say the least, vast majority of the time the employees working which are mostly a combination of females & 2 males every time I need something it's like pulling teeth their not understanding me and I'm not understanding them, out of all the employees there are it seems like there's only one who is actually fluent & bilingual but haven't seen him around usually wears a ball cap and sunglasses. As for the rest of the staff and not to talk bad about them but I kind of wish the owner would either stop hiring primarily Spanish speaking employees and hire more English speaking employees or even better idea bring back dude with the ball cap and sunglasses, he always tended to me & made my visits a pleasant experience each and every time. And not to sound like a racist or even like a bigot because I know how it's going to come off but this isn't little Cuba / mexico, as a business owner wouldn't you think it would make more sense to be able to cater to all your customer base instead of just focusing on the Spanish speaking ones which is what it seems like is taking place? Not trying to throw anyone under the bus but I've also noticed that alot of these employees since they don't have to deal with the customers due to a language barrier spend more time on their phones then actually working, and from what i understand the girl with the short dark hair who works in the a.m. is the manager and she is by far the worst and her English not the best either I literally saw her and the short long dark haired older lady standing around playing on their phones while the other employee basically did everything himself , and even after the so-called manager left the older hispanic lady I'm talking about literally played on her phone and just sat her a** down and didn't do anything while the male employee was still moving .... I believe I have a picture and even video of the lady just sitting doing absolutely nothing I also know for a fact she wasn't on lunch either because when I arrived her and the manager were sitting in the back behind the register having lunch, goes to show just how piss poorly this place is being ran. Just on a side note, an incompetent manager will only yield incompetent lazy entitled employees, none of which are good for business. Take that at face value and do with it as you will. My suggestion for anyone who isn't bilingual like myself do yourself a favor call in advance to see who's working or just go to the desert inn location where you'll definitely encounter employees who are English speaking or the next step up "bilingual", next step up from that find a different laundrymat I hear Ricky at Boulder express is taking alot of aj's customers and for all the same reasons. It's funny how words spread's around like wildfire in this town. When you hear the same exact thing from multiple people, it leaves no room for the possibility of doubt read more

AJ's Laundry Star - I see an employee sitting on her a** collecting a check while the other employee is actually busy earning his check - Laundromat Near Me - Las Vegas, Nevada

Awesome spot to do our laundry. Our washer broke about 2 months ago in our apartment and we have yet to see someone come in to fix it. *$8.00/large washing machine (36 minutes per wash) *$3.50/regular washer (30 minutes per wash) * .50 cents for 14 minutes on the dryers (recommend doing 2 cycles of 14 min each (or a single cycle for 28 minutes to get a complete dry) First time going to a place to do laundry like this and the owner was amazing, informed me on how to use the machines. THEY EVEN HAVE AN APP YOU CAN PRE-LOAD $$ onto so you don't have to use coins (they have a loyalty program through the app as well) But if needed bill exchange is available. FRIENDLY STAFF ALL AROUND!! 100% recommend going here I came on a Saturday around 3 and stayed until 6 between washing, drying, and folding and about 5 other customers came in so it wasn't busy at all. A lot of room to walk around rather than sitting down and waiting. 2 vending machines available for drinks and snacks Security on premises if needed (I know leaving my car unattended in an unknown area freaked me out a bit but it was awesome knowing a security officer walks around the plaza) They even have punch cards that they can punch for you during each visit so you can earn a free wash. What caught my eye was also the fact that the owner is so caring that he recently did a special on Tuesday 12/8/2020 where between certain hours he opened up his place to more than 300 people, he allowed them to do their laundry for free during this pandemic knowing it's pretty hard to pay even $8 for a single load for some families. That's how i originally heard about this place was from the news, checked it out on YELP of course but to my surprise there were only 8 reviews but 4+ stars so i decided to try it out, well worth the visit. NOW I FINALLY HAVE CLEAN CLOTHES!! read more

This place is well kept. The staff is friendly and courteous. The price per load is reasonable. I keep going back to do my laundry here.

Do not recommend. The a/c was broken -door was propped open. It's a tiny place. Also something terribly toxic was going on in there. As I sat and waited for my wash, my legs started to itch and get red hives! I literally have NEVER had that happen in my entire life for any reason. No idea what it was, but it was scary! The tv wasn't on. The place was so tiny and narrow that you couldn't fit your laundry cart down the aisle without bumping into other patrons & their carts. I politely asked a guy if could get by him and he refused to move. Rough crowd. I didn't feel that the washer cleaned my clothing well at all. I actually washed it twice & it was still questionable. One star for polite attendant. I will not ever go back! read more

First, I'd like to say THANK YOU MISS TINA MARIE!!! My first time coming here and I had 2 loads of clothes to wash but I didn't want to be that last minute customer. I called ahead and asked when the last load was and she said Come on in! So I arrived, she was helpful with opening the door for me while I grabbed my baskets inside & showed me how to use the washers. As I'm looking around, customers here really love her! She has a beautiful smile, positive energy and is super nice! Thanks to Tina, I'll be coming here as a regular now! read more

This is my second time using AJ's Laundry on Nellis Blvd in Las Vegas. From the moment my friend and I walked in, Shontell was there to greet us and offer her assistance. She went way above to make sure we were had everything we needed and helped us with deciding which washing machines to use. The laundromat is very clean and everyone who works there is very friendly and always happy to help you in any way. Thank you, Shontell, for your kindness and helpfulness! Yesterday, I just tried this place for the first time for wash and fold service. When I walked in, I noticed a sign saying the service was 99 cents per pound. The man that waited on me spoke very little English...and after he weighed by bag, he wrote on the ticket and stamped it...balance due on pickup. He wasn't going to tell me how much the service was, so I asked him...so he added it up, and he charged me $1.50 per pound. Most services like this tell you what it will cost and put it on the receipt. I went this morning to pick up and the man from yesterday was there, and a woman was working the register...I said good morning in Spanish, but neither of them responded back. They did a good job with the wash and fold, but they didn't put the clothes back in the bag that I used when I dropped off. I won't be back anytime soon. read more

I'm waiting for my new washer to be delivered and my laundry couldn't wait any longer. I came here because it's close to home and I'm glad I did. The washers and dryer look new and work well. The dryers get HOT, too. The app to pay involves a few steps, but once you're set up it's super easy. The two ladies who were working were very nice. I would definitely recommend doing your laundry here. read more

I was told I would be one of the first drop offs and then when I called to find out why I was waiting the woman said she had no idea what I was talking about and just gave me a run around. Not exactly an all-star experience. There are probably better options. I should have done more investigating. Would not use them again. Bad customer service. read more

Very clean environment!! I was a little skeptical it being so tucked away but those are the gems. Definitely recommend

This place is so clean. Everyone shares in keeping that way. I wash all times of the day and week and everyone is always taking care of things in here. I was staying in Vegas for 2 weeks for a TDY and of course the hotel I was in only had 2 machines for the entire hotel. In the interest of saving time, I googled the best laundromats in Las Vegas. Fluff and fold service is awesome. Very professional. Very prompt service. My clothes are always ready in a few hours for pickup.

I've been coming to this laundromat with my partner for a while now, but we will never come again because of the way we were treated on our last visit. We actually walked out and left without washing because the young lady working was extremely rude... when we arrived I noticed that there was 3 available large washers next to one that had the door open with some clothes in it. There was nobody that I could see using the 3 empty ones so I began loading one. I only planned on using two. The young lady employee came from the room where they sell soap etc. and said "are you guys going to use all these?" And before I could reply she said under her breath "like you didn't just see me standing there, the f*ck." I was so shocked that an employee would talk to a customer that way. I told her I didn't know she was going to use them and she could have just asked me to use different washers. We got into an argument and she was talking about me to whoever she was on the phone with the whole time. She told me and my partner we should have never came here. And I agree now! Don't come here unless you want to be cussed out within 2 minutes of walking in. I used to love this laundromat, there is an older lady who works there that is so nice, I hope they get rid of the young one asap because she's going to ruin it for people. read more
