There were several TVs around showing sports. Our waitress was extremely nice, however, and seemed genuinely concerned that we get a great meal. My flat iron steak was very good and our waitress had no problem getting me a side salad when it wasn't specifically mentioned on the menu. My wife had rhe mahi-mahi with broccoli, which was also good. So... good food and service, but not much of a country club atmosphere.

Very disappointed with the Saturday night dinner service…read more First the acoustics are terrible which causes people to try and talk loud to be heard over the background "noise". Lack of staff meant service was slow and those servers that were working didn't exactly break a sweat if they had a choice. Our entrees were ordinary at best and served cold. We would have sent out meals back and talked to the manager but honestly it was so uncomfortably noisy in there that we just wanted to finish and leave as soon as possible. We were surprised that the check was over $55 for two pasta dishes and soft drinks. We felt this was certainly overpriced for what we were served. Unlikely that we will go back and I hardly ever say that about a family run restaurant.

When I go out for a meal, I don't want to worry about whom else is there doing whatever. I'm too old for all of the drama. Instead, the crowd was one that focused on the sport not the entertainment often provided by the element so linked with booze. The Philly cheese steak was the best in town. I only wish that it came in a larger option, and that provolone cheese was an option. Hey, when in Crossville, you get Crossville standards.
