AIT Worldwide Logistics - shed in box, heavy - Transportation Near Me - Hayward, California

I finally have time to write this review. If I could, I would give zero stars. What ridiculousness!! AIT is in the business of taking your money and screwing you over!! In the middle of April of this year, I had an issue with a tangled walking belt, on my Pro-Form treadmill. I originally bought the treadmill from Costco. I called the service phone number, provided on the Pro-Form user's manual. A representative named Sheila explained everything to me, and I paid for the service fee and a new walking belt, over the phone, since they required an upfront payment. I was told by Sheila, that someone from AIT Worldwide Logistics (a third-party service company), would call me to set up a service appointment. About 5 days later, a representative named Henry from AIT Worldwide Logistics calls me. I tell him that a walking belt has already been delivered, and I just need to make a service appointment. He asks me what day and time I preferred for the appointment. Since someone is always home, I told him any day and time was fine with me. Henry then set up an appointment for May 7, 2026 at 12:00 pm noon. On the day of the appointment, the technician never showed up. I called AIT Worldwide Logistics right away, and I informed Henry that the technician was a no-show. Henry tells me the May 7th 12:00pm noon appointment was never actually put into their system, and there was some kind of mixup. He tells me in order to set up a whole new appointment, I would have to wait 3-5 days for a phone call, from Michelle, who is the lead dispatch coordinator. I waited and on the fifth day, I still never got a call from Michelle. So I call AIT Worldwide Logistics again. This time instead of Henry, a female representative named Janet, answers the phone. I had to re-explain the situation to her. She basically tells me the same thing Henry had told me, that I would need to wait for a phone call from Michelle. Janet tells me she will leave a note, and let Michelle know that I called. I wait another week, and I still received no response from Michelle. Since I had not heard from Michelle, I called AIT Worldwide Logistics once again. Henry answers the phone, and I explain to him, that I have not gotten one single call from Michelle. I asked him if he could give me Michelle's phone number, so I could speak to her directly. He tells me he is not allowed to give out her number. At this point, I was not even sure this Michelle person even existed. Between AIT Worldwide Logistics and Pro-Form, I lost track of how many times I called, to follow up with them. I lost track of how many times, someone promised to call me back, but never did. I lost track of how many different representatives, I had to explain my situation to, because a new representative answers the phone, every time you call. That new representative, then ends up opening a new case file, when one is already open. I have asked on numerous occasions, if I could just speak to the previous representative, since they already know my situation, but they continuously denied my request. So bizarre. We basically got the run-around for about one month. Pro-form continued to promise us that AIT Worldwide Logistics, would eventually be able to set an appointment for us, but we could not wait anymore. I decided to keep the walking belt, since it was already delivered. After some more back and forth, I was able to get a partial refund, but what a humongous waste of a customer's time. Apparently AIT Worldwide Logistics is known for flaking, leaving customers high and dry, and having very poor communication skills. And when you call them, they frequently put you on hold, every single time. In the midst of all this, I learned that AIT dispatchers, may or may not schedule appointments, without confirming availability first, with the local technician. Which in turn ultimately results in last-minute cancellations, or simply no-shows. It appears that what they have, is an extreme lack of proactive communication. I hope AIT Worldwide Logistics, makes significant changes, to improve customer relations. read more

I had an appointment scheduled for today between 10AM and 2PM. I just did a quick check on their website to confirm it and saw that the appointment was cancelled - no call from them or other communication. I contacted customer service and they told me delivery was cancelled because they had some employees "call out" today and they were short-staffed. I had taken part of the day off to meet them and now I'll have to do it again next week. I know that stuff happens but I'm upset that I had to call them instead of the other way around. read more

Ordered an elliptical machine from Dick's sporting goods and paid 200.00 extra to have it assembled. A month later, 2 cancellations from AIT and still no elliptical. You have be at home all day since they have a long window of delivery. They said their truck broke down and they were stuck on side of road.. ALL DAY. Reading through the comments I see this excuse has been used before. read more

One of the worst companies I have ever seen. I bought a basketball hoop from Dicks sporting goods in Brookfield, WI. AIT is supposed to install. It has been 2 months and I have had 2 install dates canceled without notice. I took off work both of those days since they require you home. Called customer service and they said a manager would contact me. Has not happened. They said their truck broke down when I called them after they did not show for a 2nd time. Do not have them install anything. Pay more for a better company. Looking at past reviews makes me realize I should have done my homework. I am still at a loss for words and did call Dicks and they said I am the 10th person to call this week for the same things. They lied and said the truck broke down. Kurt S. read more

Absolutely terrible customer service, I got transferred to them after my tonal arm broke. I got the part in rather quickly and have been waiting over a month for a technician to come and fix it. The representative Tamika from AIT worldwide logistics would continue to tell me 'it'll be done this week, this week' then I go 7 days without hearing from her because I CALLED HER. This company support sucks, I needed my tonal fixed and even after a month of waiting nothing has happened, ( still waiting on hold for her to pick up btw). Would not recommend and if I knew I would tried to fix it myself, only I paid $400 for them to do it and still hasn't happened! Terribly upset, frustrated and disappointed in them, especially Tamika. read more

Absolute horrible service. They've canceled on me twice without any notice or courtesy call. The first time, the technician was "sick." The second time, it was blamed on "too much traffic." That's not an excuse--that's a failure to manage schedules and communicate like a professional company. This is the contractor Peloton chose to represent them in our area, which is honestly shocking. The lack of accountability and basic customer service is unacceptable. I would never choose to use this company if I had any other option. I've already requested a different provider due to their repeated unprofessionalism and complete disregard for my time. read more

I am STILL waiting for the service I paid for. I made another appointment - the tech ended up not being able to make it. Since it was the tech calling me personally to apologize I agreed to reschedule for tonight. Between 6 and 7. It is 8. No word. No one at AITWorldwide to give me an update on arrival. Tech not answering phone. Horrible, horrible experience. Pay attention to all those 1-star reviews! read more

Shit company. Give you a window and it's way out of the window without a curtsey call. The supervisor has nothing but attitude. No help whatsoever. He said to me, "what do you think, they are going to call you ever 20 mins and give you an update if they are late." Ummm no sir, but at least a call to say they are going to be an hour or two past the time I was given. Out of curtsey for a paying customer. So yeah waited all day, wasted my whole day waiting on this company to deliver my furniture. What a joke. read more

Never again!!! If Sam's Club says ait is delivering, I will absolutely not be purchasing. They have failed delivery three times now. The first delivery was a 12 hour window of 8 am to 8 pm. No call no show. I had to stay at home to sign for it. Second delivery was a time the company picked randomly, without telling me. I got a 30 minute warning that they were coming and I was on my way to my grandma's funeral. Called back to schedule a time. Called the DAY BEFORE to confirm that time. No call, no show. Called the delivery date to check status and they rescheduled to a different day that I didn't know about. Now have to make arrangements for an adult to be here to sign for the tv because IT IS CHRISTMASTIME and we will beat work! Absolutely ridiculous! read more

The worst experience I have ever encountered with a delivery service. We ordered a treadmill that was supposed to be delivered within 9-11 days, after two weeks passed by I reached out to Dicks Sporting Goods, who recommended calling AIT. For multiple weeks, I got the run around from AIT "trying to contact dispatch," and always saying they would call me back and I never got a call back. I finally had the issue escalated through DSG who seemed to be more helpful. Of the many calls to AIT, on the final week of the month, only one person ever called me back - her name was Jackie and she was very kind. Also, when the AIT technicians finally did come, they smelled strongly of weed. Will never again purchase from someone that uses AIT for delivery services. read more

This is a horrible shipping company that lost track of $10,000 worth of equipment that was shipped to me by the manufacturer. They put it on the wrong truck and it took them two weeks to find it after being notified of their error. read more

ordered a TV thru BJs, AIT said the estimated date of contacting us for scheduling a delivery was like 1 week ago, still haven't heard anything. I guess we're spoiled by other shipping services that have more accurate tracking haha. We've had to reschedule our TV mounting service twice now. read more

The technicians were professional and hardworking. However, the service itself is structured poorly. They assured us they serviced our zip code and had trained professionals. The technician they sent had never assembled our playset before and lived over 70 mi away, so scheduling was a nightmare. What should have taken 8 hours to assemble, then took 6-8 weeks due to scheduling issues and lack of communication from AIT. At the third reschedule, the technician showed up alone, so my husband had to help for over 4 hr. When I called customer service to pursue a refund, it took me 3-4 weeks to be notified that I would receive a refund of only $125 in the mail (which I haven't gotten yet) after spending almost $900 for the service. It's poorly organized and poorly managed. Save yourself the time and money and find someone else. read more

Awful experience. We purchased furniture from a local outlet, Bob's, in PA. We selected the "white glove delivery" service on four pieces of a bedroom set. Long story-short, they arrived late (6:30pm), and carried a brand new mattress out to the curb. They left it in wet conditions, leaning against their delivery truck and sitting on the road surface for at least 45 min. When this was discovered it was hard to communicate with the staff because they were having trouble speaking English and understanding the problem. After repeating the problem several times we were able to get them to carry our mattress back inside and placed on the bed. This was two weeks ago as of this review and we finally finalized a refund of the purchase price of our mattress. Going forward, I will clarify which logistics company is being used for delivery of goods purchased and if it happens to be AIT I will ask for a different freight carrier or end the transaction without a purchase. I would highly recommend avoiding this company. It's clear they're not customer focused and employ cheap and unskilled labor. read more

By far the worst experience all around. "Scheduling" a delivery is only a request which gets rejected. The team answering the phones can't get in touch with the coordinators. Coordinators say they'll call back in 30 minutes but a week later, nothing. A week past scheduled delivery date and still no contact. Use this service and they'll just drag your companies reputation through the mud. read more

HORRIBLE. I wish i checked reviews before I allowed. Since they gave me a 4 hour window I called in the AM and they promised the driver would call 30 minutes before he arrived. I missed the driver's call, called him back 12 minutes later and he just left. He refused to come back and the company didn't just send him back which would have been easy to do.... read more

Really bad shipping company, if you see your package being shipped with them it will take weeks. They had my package for 12 days at a origin warehouse before they started moving it towards me. I had to call and chat with support multiple times to get them to start moving it. Worst service ever read more

AIT Worldwide is an excellent freight company. The bad reviews here are all regarding big box home delivery, but the people posting bad reviews didn't hire or pay AIT. The shipper (in these cases, big box retailer) did. Not surprisingly, what the shippers ask and pay for is different than what the home user expects. The retailer says deliver it anytime within 7 business days for example, but the home user wanted it at 3PM on Wednesday because that's when they took off work. Time and date specific home delivery is an available service, but comes at a higher cost to the shipper so most of them don't want it. My experience: I've worked for both large shippers and freight companies, and have a Masters in Logistics. read more

Horrible service so far, havent got my item yet. The website sucks, and I get nowhere when I call.

Sams club order. They had my item for a week past the original delivery date. Scheduled for the following week and that fell through, postponed for another day. I don't understand how they are still in business l. read more

My Sam's Club delivery was set today between 8am and 8pm. I tried to find my shipment to see if had arrived. It couldn't find my tracking number. So, I called the company AIT. I spoke to a supervisor and she stated that another third party named LAX Home Delivery service had my product in their warehouse but did not deliver it yet. She gave me their phone number with their tracking number. I contacted then and the CSR told me that it was not in their warehouse yet when I confirmed it with the AIT supervisor. I argued with the rep because kept on repeating himself making me furious! He also said he was from AIT when I thought I was contacting LAX Home Delivery. He said he tried to get a supervisor but none was available which is a lie because there is always a supervisor available in any company. He said someone will call me back to reschedule. Now, my product is going to be delayed because I'm not going to be home this weekend. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with in my life! read more

My purchase from Costco was supposed to be delivered today with an advanced 4-hour-window (11:00 AM -3:00 PM) appointment. It was 3:05 PM and I still had not received the item; no phone call from AIT. I had to call them to find out and they said the delivery would be 30 minutes late. That was all they said, no appology. I waited until 4:20 PM and still no delivery, no phone call. Terrible customer service!!!! read more

Do not use this company for delivery. They were supposed to deliver package and confirmed delivery and then took package to alpine carting services in queens ny. no explanation and they didn't even help find the package. Alpine carting in queens ny also another disaster. 0 Customer service. they put you on hold for 30 minutes. read more

This rating actually represents far below even zero star review. They took almost a month to deliver our order through a third party company Within a 80 miles distance. Despite we called several times they delayed the delivery date several times and made us call and email them and the Sven n Son several times. Looks like this company put our order for bedding to find the third party with the lowest costs as a subcontractor. that might be the reason why we got the item delivered to us late. if you need your item for an elderly on time DO NOT TRUST This Company. read more

I scheduled a delivery a week in advance. on the day of the delivery a message was sent to me saying look out for your delivery should be there soon. we waited hours and nobody ever showed up. the next day I look online at my shipping update and they said they attempted to deliver which was not true. we waited all day read more

this company is horrible. I ordered an exercise bike and assembly. AIT did the assembly for Dick's sporting goods. AIT came to deliver and assemble. when they were almost done I came to look at it. the handle bars were pointing down. I told them that was definitely not correct. they flipped them over and left. The next couple of days I rode the bike and kept hitting my knees on water bottle holder. I am not tall and knew that could not be correct. I looked at the manual and whole front assembly was wrong. it took me about 30 minutes to unassemble and correct the issue. I called Dick's and they told me to call AIT. I called AIT and explained what happened. I sent picture before and after correction. I told them since I paid them to assemble I expect some kind of compensation. I ended up calling 4 times with them constantly handing off. Finally I asked for a manager. He said sorry you should have called for us to fix. we will not compensate for you doing fix. I told him I had to wait several times for them to come to house already. Did not want to wait several weeks for them to come fix. Sorry sir that is policy. Horrible, horrible, horrible! read more

Writing this as I'm waiting on my delivery. They gave me a 4 hour window and it's now 2 hours past the window and I have not heard from them at all. I called the customer service number, which gives me an automated response saying "you are the next stop on the driver's route" and it's said that every time I called over the last 4 hours. I have not been able to get in touch with a single human being (currently on hold and have been for an hour or more). Got set up with them through the Pottery Barn outlet, next time I'll just rent a truck and drive it myself. They charged over $300 for this. read more

Non-existent? I waited for two weeks to get $7000 worth of furniture delivered to my business in Michigan so that I could prepare to open. 24ish hours out I was provided a 8am-9pm window tracking. No emails or contact of any kind from this company, only from the source company which I ordered from, IKEA. Morning of, no tighter window, no communication from anyone. I finally was able to track down a number from IKEA to call this company. After being passed around, a representative told me that 11am-3pm was the window (it was currently about noon). I confirmed with her that someone would call /text/email me yes? She confirmed. A couple hours later, I got an email from IKEA that my delivery was missed. I was AT THE LOCATION. I did not see anyone come, no one called me, no one texted me, nothing. I'm now being told the soonest items can be delivered will be almost two weeks. This has been a joke. read more

The absolute worst company that I've ever dealt with in my life. They don't even deserve the 1 star review that I'm giving them. Bought a basketball hoop and paid for the install and got set up with this joke of a company. Was supposed to get it installed last Friday and got a time window for when they're supposed to show up. Well that time pasted, so I called and they said that their guy had a flat tire and was behind 2 hours. Ok so I waited 3 hours and then called again and they said that the guy would be there in 10 minutes. An hour passes and I call back and now they said that he's not coming at all. I get rescheduled for the following Monday and don't ya know it, my time window passes again with no basketball hoop. I called these clowns again and they said that they have an opening for the next day!! What about my appointment the day before?!?!? No excuse, just blown off. So I went to the store where I bought it from and wouldn't you know it, the hoop was in the box sitting on the register waiting for them to pick it up. They never picked it up on Friday. They never picked it up on Monday. What kind of a scam are you running AIT????? Fortunately I got my money back and will eventually put this horrible experience in the past. Everyone out there do yourselves a favor and stay far far far far far far away from ever doing business with AIT!! read more

Wow...not surprised one star from everyone. Cancelled appointment at the end of delivery window and then never bothered to come back without having Peloton to get involved. When they finally came to the house a week later, they took apart the bike and couldn't figure out how to put it back together again leaving screws and parts everywhere and they won't come back to fix the mess they made, let alone fix the bike which was what they were supposed to do. read more

I ordered a play ground set from Sam club and they use Go Configure (AIT Worldwide Logistics Company) for their assembly. We paid $800 for assembly. The whole process was a nightmare. The technicians they contract with are not timely and do not communicate at all. We never got any calls prior to their arrival or if they are running late. They don't arrive in their scheduled time frame. We had to call the call center every time for them to track their technician. First day they show up late and couldn't finish the playground set. They told us they will return the next morning around 8am-9am to finish. We waited all day next day and again no calls or communication. Close to 6pm we call the call center again and they have to track down technician. They arrive at 7pm and rush the installation. They did not finish until 10pm. They rush the installation where the bolts and screws were loose. When our kids play on the playground the playground set was shift. You can see the loose bolts and screws coming off. We call the call center to reschedule another technician to come fix it since it's a safety hazard. We have little kids playing on that playground set. We paid $800 for assembly and it's not cheap to have such a horrible service and the technician did such a shitty job because they were rushing to finish the job. They finally reschedule us for a technician to come out and fix the problem. After we email them pictures of the loose bolts & screws. Schedule day came the technician did a no call no show. We call the next day and spoke to a manager Tameka and demand someone come within a day to come fix it. The manager told us she will call us back and find a technician. And again no calls from the manager. We call back before their call center close and was advised a technician will call us before 8pm to come out and fix it. Come to show the technician is the same one who did a no call no show the day before. All they gave us was if technician don't show up today or call just call us back tomorrow. This company if horrible. Avoid it all cost. The headache is not worth it and they don't take action to their mistake. We are still waiting for them to come and fix it. This has been going on for one month and a half. read more

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST! Canceled on me 4 times without telling me. Waited all day and nobody showed every time. I called and they offered to reschedule again and again. Unfortunately I had no choice in using these folks as the company I ordered from chose them... The communication with them, while waiting over 11 days for my item that was supposed to arrive in 2-3 was the worst I've ever experienced... Their delivery person's phone mailbox was full... He texted me, asking me to text him.. I asked about the delivery of my item and waited over 5 hours for a response.. He only responded after I tried, yet again, to call him only to receive his full mailbox message. Online customer chat was a joke... Jackie C's response to me when I told her I had waited over 5 hours for a response from her driver was "I spoke to him a while ago"....Not, let me call him and take care of this for you. I truly wonder how these folks stay in business. 6/10 update.... item delivered by a driver not wearing a mask that asked to use our bathroom! I couldn't resist snapping a photo of the organization of items in the truck. Nothing tied down, several boxes had fallen over, two had broken open. Truly laughable. I made him wait while I opens our item to make sure it was in one piece. read more

I ordered an item through Sam's club who uses AIT to ship their larger items. I paid for the item a month ago and have had two delivery dates sent to me by AIT. They DID NOT SHOW UP either time nor did they contact me. I have since spent hours trying to get someone to actually do something to get my order to me. No one will handle it.
