On a recent trip back from 3 weeks away our 2024 vehicle would not start. AAA and Chrysler Care ended up not being the answer on this over 90 degree humid day. But the staff at Airways Parking came through for us!!!Everyone kept putting their own battery chargers on our vehicle and eventually (3hrs later) our vehicle was back to running great!!! The staff kept giving us water bottles to hydrate and never gave up trying to help us! We've been parking our vehicle here for many years and will continue in the future!!! read more

Call me crazy but I bought parking with Parknfly. They "upgraded " me to airways . The lot is very close to the airport but I wanted self parking. Even tho airways says self parking they take your keys and park your car. I do not remember getting a ticket after they took my keys. If I did I tossed it in the car. (Make sure you get the ticket or you will be scammed out of 10.00) I had my reservation number, which should be more than sufficient . I would say this is the least of my concerns. The company has a unique group of employees. They all look very similar. I had parked my car with them and they knew I was leaving for the 1 week with my family. My neighborhood is filled with pretty close bunch of people where everyone knows everyone. There was a very suspicious man walking around my residence as I was gone. My cameras picked him up on both sides of my house. He spent a few minutes there and then realized I had people there watching the house as I was gone for the week. This individual fits some of the same characters working at this lot. Call me crazy but I never tell anyone when Iam out of town and this happens. I filled a police report within 10 minutes after he was spotted. Extra patrol was added quickly since many officers live in the same area. I've been using airways for over 10 years now, even with rising fuel prices, inflation, etc. they have barely increased their rates. This is the only family ran parking service at midway, it may not be the nicest or flashiest, but it is dependable. I have never had one issue with them. This is a great place to give your business to. Anyone who says that they dropped it off with less mileage than it had etc. is looking for a reason to complain. They have excess parking elsewhere that is a few miles down the road. I recommend Airways to anyone flying out of Midway 100% of the time read more

horrible, they are also ez parking and claim to have indoor parking. they park your car indoors in their so called garage. These people are scammers. They want the keys to your car and they are going to park it and you do not know if it is actually inside or not. Rude, foreigner guy who was swearing to me in another language and yes you could tell by the way he was speaking. A true jerk, when I was taking photos of my car for return comparison, he asked me for my ticket and told me to leave. I gladly left because I would rather pay than have my car damaged at this place. Update: The response from them is even rude. I sat in that van and did not say one word to the driver. He argued with a male passenger. I sat quiet and appalled that the driver behaved that way! I am contacting the better business bureau as well. This by far was the worst experience I ever had with a parking company. It was my first time using them and NEVER again. I typically use Park and Fly but they were sold out on indoor parking so I took a chance with this company. I booked with Midway EZ parking and after booking was told it was bumped to their "sister" parking, Airways. My Lincoln was covered with dust, the pickup driver was rude and complaining that he's the only driver. He was arguing with another passenger. He threw my luggage which left it with a big dent. Parking is extremely close to the airport and a fraction of the price of daily parking at the airport. Upon return you call for them to pick you up and on arrival your car is pulled to the front and running so you're already warm! Never parking anywhere else. read more

I park at this place for years, but last time come to find out they hijack cars there and the service is slower now. Usually they have your car ready for you when you get there, now since they been hijack , you have to wait until you get there to get your car. Such a weird experience from the get-go when I booked with another lot and got "upgraded" to this one -- ha! It's a weird and kind of sketchy lot near train tracks, and I honestly didn't feel super safe there. The shuttle service was fine but I had to wait longer than expected when waiting for a shuttle and the area to wait was kind of isolated. Everything was fine with picking up my car but it was driving a little weird and then on my way to pick up my dog I got a flat tire (and hadn't hit a pothole or any construction). I can't say for 100% sure that it was from this lot but I'm fairly certain. Anyway, there are other options so maybe don't use this one if you can avoid. read more

This was my first time using them. Everything went smoothly my only complaint would be not communicating well on where to meet for the shuttle back to the lot upon return. Was a little confusing at the airport and having to go back into the back parking lot/garage felt a little sketchy, especially for someone traveling alone for the first time. We recently we're part of a nightmare here. This parking facility requires you to leave your keys with them. Well, they were robbed and over 64 people lost there key fobs and several cars were stolen. People were stranded as they didn't have an extra key fob with them, with no way to get home except to call UBERS. The facility didn't really work with anyone to help them. Those who cars were stolen were greeted with a I'm sorry, call The police and find a way home. read more

This business is outstanding. Has the best customer service I have ever experienced in my 60+ life. I have been going there for years and this week, I didn't have my key to pick up my car. I live about 1 hour away in Indiana and was going to rent a car to go home to pick up my spare key. The owner of this business, said, no. He would take me home to get it because I was a great customer and that is how they treat customers. I was shocked. This man paid for gas, tolls and even bought me a bottle of water enroute. He refused any money. We had the best conversations in that 2-hour period. I couldn't have been more grateful. I've used this service for 2 years. Just got my lexus back and close to six miles on vehicle. My xm radio stations changed to MLB which i hate and my seat is leaned back and in a different position. I have been parking at Airways for the last 15 years. They always do a great job. This last trip, I forgot my cell phone in my car at the lot, after being dropped off at Midway. I used a strangers phone to call them and they retrieved my phone and met me back at the airport to give it to me. The phone had my boarding pass on it and would've missed my flight had it not been for their great service. Thank you, Airways. read more

TLDR: Do Not Use this company: you get what you pay for. When we went to pick up our car, we got charged an additional $30 for a car wash we did not ask for. We had just washed our car prior to dropping it off. When we asked them why they washed our car, the front desk representative deflected and stated that he wasn't there for the drop off and someone else billed the charge. We had no choice but to pay for something we didn't ask for. Pay attention to the reviews on this place and make sure you get an itemized receipt as evidence at drop-off. In addition, the shuttle they use for transport to and from the airport is questionably clean and smells strongly of smoke. read more

This place is pathetic. Asked for indoor parking (Snow and 0 degrees) and a car wash and received neither. Waited in their office for over 15 minutes while they tried to locate my car. Giving them 2 stars for efficiency ONLY. I had a 6am flight so I dropped off my car at 4am; my car was checked in and I was dropped to the terminal all within 15 minutes. On my return, my flight was delayed and I arrived almost 4 hours late (2am). Once I called the office to come pick me up, the van was there so quickly and when I got to the lot, my car was parked and ready to take. Like a couple of the other reviews have mentioned, the individuals working here are GRUMPY and RUDE. The man who runs the office is not the least bit friendly and answers questions with a bunch of attitude. When I dropped my car off, the man did not help me unload my bag or anything. When I returned, the van driver did not help to load my luggage in my car. The same office manager seemed like he was so inconvenienced by me wanting to pay my parking fees. I asked a simple question, "Do you prefer cash or credit, because I can do either." And he responded very rudely, "Do what you want." In between this exchange, he also yelled at the van driver. Overall, poor customer service. Not sure if I'd use them again, but their prices are very reasonable ($12/day). I was worried about the safety of my car because the lot is kind of sketchy, but no issues with my car at pickup. It's amazing that they are so busy even though the people working there are so rough around the edges (maybe that is an understatement). read more

Bad - I have used them several times and each time I think "they can't always be this rude, dismissive and ignorant". Then I use them again and yup! They are! These guys are greasy. When the shuttle picked me up and brought me back, my car was already outside running. I naturally thought I was good to go and drove off. About 10 minutes later, I get a call from an angry manager stating that I didn't check out properly. He also said that they would have to report my car as stolen. I tell the manager that he's calling me on the owners phone, and I would pay with the credit card belonging to the owner (that's me btw). After an exchange we either were disconnected or he hung up. I call him back and try to get him to allow me to pay him over the phone. He finally said ok, but I'll have to pay an extra $10. I refuse, we argue, and then he says he gonna call the cops "end of story" So, i relented and came back just to avoid potentially even longer night. My flight was delayed, and I had work the next day - I have no time for the cops. But the implications of what he offered was this: he can be convinced that a car taken from his lot belongs to someone for a measly $10 over the standard rate. Like I said, greasy. read more

This was seriously the worst experience ever when we dropped our car off the people did not have masks on that work there, they didn't enforce masks on the shuttle to the airport and on the way home retrieving our car they packed every single seat and three people didn't have masks on and they didn't enforce them wearing them. I would never use this lot again as I was treated horribly for making a complaint - and I hope you'll read this and share with others - don't give this place your business. Read on please. Very disappointing end to an otherwise good experience. Drop off and pick up was easy and very close/accommodating to the airport terminal and back. Easy to follow instructions on returning. Vehicle ready for us upon arrival. Unfortunately, our car reeked of cigarette smoke, and we are not smokers. I went in to pay and get my key, and made the complaint that our car stunk of smoke, and I have 2 young kids I really don't want around that. The man at the counter immediately denied that anyone was smoking in my vehicle. I restated my concern and asked him to come to the vehicle (right outside the door entrance) to smell for himself as it was very obvious. He again immediately refuted my complaint and asked my rhetorically why if all the vehicles there they would choose to smoke in mine, which is a ridiculous statement first of all, and mostly I just couldn't believe he was not at all willing to even talk about this with me and/or apologize that I was unhappy. He was immediately very combative and accused me of "being a jerk" and that "he knew what people like me were trying to do". I had my credit card ready to pay and suggested that perhaps a discount would be appropriate. He said absolutely not, you need to pay now in full or you aren't getting your keys back. I said fine, if that's how it is I have no problem sharing my experience in reviews, social media, word of mouth. Then he said, "since you're acting like a jerk, I'm not accepting credit card for payment, for you it's cash only". I said I don't have any cash, he said I'll have one of my guys drive you to an ATM. No thanks. So I said ok, I'm sorry, I'll pay you now with my card so I can just leave. But he refused and said you're not getting your key back until you get the cash. I said I'd have to call the police then as he's refusing to give me my vehicle, and he said go ahead. So I did call the police and had to wait in my cold vehicle (below 32 degrees outside) with my family (kids both under 8). While waiting, We did talk to another person coming to drop off their vehicle and alerted them of our experience. That obviously set off the (owner?) and he came out with another man and the 2 of them verbally threatened us telling me to get the f*ck in my vehicle and also to suck his d*ck when I continued to stand one foot in vehicle asking him to take my payment so we could leave. My kids are crying now and I'm very concerned that one or both of them may physically attack me if I leave the vehicle again. The police arrived and ultimately could not force him to accept my credit card and suggested to me that getting cash would be the easiest way to just move on, so they drove me to an ATM so I could pay cash and leave, which I finally did. It's really sad to see someone running a business and treating people this way. I should be able to make a complaint if unhappy with any aspect of the service received without fearing being physically harmed or being forced to get the police involved in order to pay and leave. With so many other options near midway, why would I (or you) ever consider this place? read more

I was recommended this place by a friend who parks here all the time. I had a spot hero reservation for a different lot which wasn't honored because we made reservation within 24 hours (separate issue). So we show up at Airways to park. I asked how much it was to park there, he asked when we were coming back and I said 5 days later and he said total would be $60. Drop off and shuttle to home was fine. Pickup took awhile and then we arrived to pay and they said total was $80. I told him we had talked to the guy at drop off who said it would be $60. The cashier wouldn't even listen - just kept saying because we didn't have a reservation ahead of time it would be $80. If we had reservation it would have been $14/day, or $70. So not sure where the first guy got $60. The fact that he would not even try to understand our position was frustrating. We won't be back here. read more

Pros: - My car was returned to me in one piece - I only had to wait 10 minutes for the shuttle after my return flight. Cons: - I actually did not intend to park here; I was "upgraded" to this "sister site" after reserving parking at Midway EZ Parking, which felt like a bait and switch. - The facility does not feel remotely safe or secure. The area where I was instructed to leave my car is right next to W. 55th St., and there is no gate, fencing, security guard, or anything around to protect the vehicle or customers. As a woman traveling with a small child, I felt very uncomfortable the whole time I was there. - Although both Midway EZ Parking and its "sister site" Airways advertise a choice of self-parking or valet, when I arrived at Airways, I was required to turn my keys over for valet. I was very uncomfortable having to leave my keys for the duration of my trip and never would have booked parking here had I known I would be required to do so. - The parking attendant was gruff and disrespectful. After being instructed to park in a spot not far from the main road (with no fencing, gate, guard, etc.), I was told to leave my keys in the vehicle. I told the attendant I was not comfortable leaving the keys in the vehicle and asked him to hold onto the keys. After taking the keys from me, he immediately walked around to the other side of the vehicle and tossed the keys back into my car. I again asked him not to leave the keys in the car; he begrudgingly removed them and then rushed me onto the shuttle to the airport. My car had not yet been taken to be parked when the shuttle left, so I spent the rest of my trip feeling anxious about whether my car would be there when I returned. - Although I paid an extra $6 per day for indoor parking ($22 vs. $16, which is an exorbitant rate compared to the $16.25 charged for covered parking by Park N Fly, where I usually park), I am quite confident my car was not in fact parked indoors, because it was returned to me wet from the morning's rain shower and with multiple bird droppings on it. I just paid the extra fee without fighting it because I was so freaked out by the sketchiness of the facility and wanted to get out of there with my child as soon as I possibly could. - Although the City of Chicago is still under a mask mandate, masks were not properly worn (or worn at all) by any of the employees or the other customers. Bottom line: Provided the most basic service (a place to park my car, and returned me to my car relatively promptly), but facility feels unsafe, services were not provided as advertised (no self-park, and not parked indoors despite being charged for it), and overpriced compared to better third-party parking options at Midway. read more

Worse parking experience ever. Unprofessional customer service, rude owners and drivers. We had to wait outside in freezing cold for over 20 min because they didn't have enough busses and their busses were very small and could fit only few people at a time. The website this parking lot uses is for a different lot we used to always park at that lot is no longer in business. So, it's misleading when you trying to make reservation and have to park at some other lot that's not cheap that looks all run down. I will never park there again and don't recommend anyone parking there. Park and fly is so much more reasonable in price and great pick up service. I would recommend anyone parking at park and fly, and this is where I will park when I fly out of Midway. read more

Horrible customer service and response time. Website states different rate than what they have in office but you get claim ticket and loaded up outside. So they bang your for more money per day.
