After calling around all day trying to find an HVAC specialist, Megan was the only person who actually seemed to care that I was stuck without A/C on one of the hottest days of the year. While other companies minimized my situation, Total Heating and Air made me feel heard. When my technician, Sebastian, arrived, I knew I was in good hands. He took the time to listen to my concerns, and it's clear he is highly knowledgeable and truly cares about his work. He had my air up and running within 30 minutes! He inspected the unit outside, took pictures to show me what he observed (I had a Duke surge protector) and cleaned the coils. Did a thorough inspection of the unit inside. I was impressed enough that I signed up for the annual maintenance plan! It includes summer and winter maintenance and 10% discounts on labor/parts if needed. In my opinion, the annual maintenance was well within my expectations. I am a brand new owner of the condo and it meant a lot that he took the time to walk me through everything. I would highly recommend this company and definitely Matt hands-down! You can tell they're invested in building and maintaining relationships and that means a lot these days. Oh! And I am really interested in the UV system that seems to be a better option for my type of HVAC set up. If I can swing it, I will definitely be contacting them for the install. I had 7 different reps to my house to work on my AC and spent upwards of a couple thousand dollars with no resolution. The techs from Heating and air were able to fix the issue. It's great to have a properly functioning AC unit again! The techs were polite, friendly, and very knowledgeable. I have a Lennox, which not every tech is qualified to work on. US Air has techs specifically trained to work on Lennox systems. The customer service was excellent as well. They answer their phones every time I called and were always available to answer any questions I had. NOTE: I had every major AC company in the area work on my unit. On Jan 9, 2020 an Airtek service truck sideswiped my parked car leaving a Southern Builders job…read moresite. They tried to drive away. We had to chase the truck to make them stop. They then denied it until we pointed out they were on camera, another neighbor saw them and the cop told them it was very obvious. I have reached out to the owner to help hurry the situation along. Explaining that my car is my livelihood (I'm an Uber driver) and how damaging this is. It is now Feb 6,2020 and my car STILL has not been approved for repairs by the insurance company, Mitchell Insurance. They are also trying their best not to pay my lost wages, which I am STILL loosing. WITH NO END IN SIGHT! I am at my wits end! I hold Airtek and it's employees and owners responsible for their choice in insuring their company. Please do not support these kinds of actions by doing business with Airteck.
