If you own an Airstream and you need service this is where you come. While you are getting the work done you can take a tour of the factory. It's a walking tour and you'll get to see all the stages that a trailer goes through as it is hand made on the assembly line. There is also a comfortable waiting area with fresh coffee and drinks available. We were fortunate to have been the only ones to sign up for this week's tour of the factory. Don Ambos, who has been with Airstream for 55 years led our private tour and this gentleman is obviously a legend and fixture all of his own at the facility. Tours run every Friday at 2:00pm. Go to Airstream's website and make sure to let them know you're coming. It was really amazing to not only see the manufacturing process, but also to learn all the facts and figures of this legendary company. We are in the process of rebuilding and modernizing a '74 Excella and seeing the way the new models are put together was absolutely invaluable. We also learned that you can order pretty much any part you need, including legacy parts if available, through the factory if you're willing to come pick it up. We were able to take some more photos than maybe typically allowed since we were the only ones there with Don, and because it was nearing the end of the shift. Since doing the tour, I am even more proud to be an owner, and to be a part in supporting a truly American-made icon. Airstream has a full hookup area for travelers to use which also has a dump station. There's also a parking lot where owners can leave their trailers for the season and have it worked on if needed by the crew. read more

What a great tour of the plant where and All-American cultural icon is produced. Learn the history of how the recreational vehicle got started with the inventor and founder of Airstream, see historical trailers, and here the story of how something starting in the late 1920's had endured and continues to operate here almost a century later. Seeing the line where the units are made, and seeing the craftspeople who build these trailers, you can understand, why the brand has such a rabid following. My tour had about 35 people on it, each with their own story of coming back to where their Airstream was produced. It is in the middle of no-where, but worth the trip off the interstate to visit the factory and product center. Tours are at 2pm daily during the week, give yourself plenty of time, expect the tour to take a little more than 90 mins, and you will want to pick up a tee-shirt or a pink flamingo refrigerator magenet as a momento of your visit. Our service with Airstream this week was first class. Matt worked on our trailer. Because we have traveled roughly 500,000 miles with this trailer all over North America it gets some major wear and tear. The work performed was great. Matt explained everything he did. We have had the trailer into different places in our travels. Often the work was less than acceptable. The week spent in Jackson Center was well worth it. Now we are off to Alaska with our "like new" trailer. In the future, whenever possible we will try to bring the trailer back to Jackson Center. Front office staff was great. For the first time we took the factory tour and would highly recommend it not only to airstream people but for people to see how a factory should run. read more

You might expect the best service and repair quality at the Airstream factory, and you would be right. We called them Friday asking if they could fit us in Monday as we were just starting our 2.5 week journey. Our RV storage neighbor had backed into our 25FB wrinkling 2 panels, putting a hole in one, plus doing other damage. Even though the repair center was fully booked for the next month, (it was the busiest season) they took us in that Monday. It was a 5 day repair job and the workmanship was just great! We could not even tell it had been repaired. Not only that, the staff was courteous and helpful as well, even providing a refrigerator space for our food while work was being done. If you need your Airstream repaired and you can get to the factory for it, do it! read more

We have had our 2006 Airstream serviced at the factory for the past10 years. Each time we scheduled our appt. through Chris Burch. Chris is efficient and knowledgeable. Thanks to Chris all service was completed in a short amount of time with quality results. Thanks Chris !!!! Matt was our service advisor. He kept us informed with each item that was repaired. Initially we were unsure about the cost of each repair item but with Matt's help we were able stay within our budget. Matt also took time out of the morning schedule to come by to make sure we were satisfied with the work. A nice customer touch. Matt is an excellent tech. Bought a 2017 Airstream Spirt 16' from Bretz RV in Missoula MT. 2 year warranty issues were never honored even though I paid full price of $44,000. Water heater, water pump, door latch, refrigerator freezes food, etc. Neither Airstream nor Bretz has done anything, have repaired all issues myself. Still struggling wiith the refrigerator! I do not recommend either of these coMpanies to do business with in any way. read more

Chris Burch set up our appointment to have our 25'FC dinette and seats removed and two recliners installed as well as a road side awning installed. Brent Kohler was the technician who did the work which involved removing the seating, dinette, rewiring and moving the converter, as well as other electronics and custom building a 3 drawer cabinet and building a cabinet to enclose a outside storage area. We could not be more pleased with the results. Brent was wonderful and made sure my wife and I were getting exactly what we wanted. Nice folks at Airstream. read more

My wife and I are newbies to the airstream world, and were a little apprehensive to drive 400 miles for service..Brad the Airstream Service Leader made us feel welcome from the beginning What a great experience, and the service quality was excellent. They assigned a dedicated service technician to us (Vern). This guy was AWESOME; knowledgable, smart, and fast. He made us feel comfortable from the time we met him, until we pulled out of the service bay. Quality work, is extremely important to me, and Vern hit on all expectations. Brought my trailer in to have some custom work done - remove the emergency exit window and replace it with a full door. Garrett Presser was the lead tech who did the work and it is masterful! He was meticulous with all details, collaborative on decisions that had to be made along the way (this being the first trailer they've done this to at the factory) and was kind to let me take pictures along the way. It's an absolutely perfect job! Brad Herring is the service lead who kept me up to speed all along the way. He too did a great job coordinating everything, arranging for additional techs to dive in on other work I was having done so I could get out on time. Brad even picked up a brush and helped wash the trailer just to speed things along. They're both great to work with and the quality of the work is really excellent. Highly recommended! read more

We took our Airstream trailer to the Jackson Center service center for some upgrades and repair. We were able to stay at the "Terraport" (a RV park with full hookups for those who are bringing their Airstream trailers in for service). We were assigned a personal technician who was outstanding. He was able to answer all our questions and provide suggestions for future enhancements to our trailer. Our technician was able to complete our list of upgrades and repairs in a very satisfactory and timely manner. read more

Alumapalooza 7. @ the Airstream Headquarters, Jackson Center, OH. This event is a blast plus we get to camp 6 days on the Airstream grounds.

We had an appointment for 9/20/16 and arrived at the Service Center on 9/19/16. Everything was set up to be done we asked for. Darren Jurosic was the technician who did our work. During his work, he found that we had a broken skylight that I didn't know about. It was added to our work list. Work was completed on 9/21/16 just before noon. We stayed overnight and then headed for home on 9/22. Darren's work was very professional and neat. He also communicated with me appropriately during the service work. He also made recommendations regarding maintenance that I could perform myself since I live 340 mi. from the Service Center. I feel I received appropriate value for what I paid. One comment, Chris Burch, service manager who does the scheduling, could use some coaching from Rick March about his sometimes abrasive attitude with customers. read more
