Have taken my kids here a few times over the last few years due to sports injuries, mt bike…read moreinjuries etc. The doctors there are great and I would recommend this facility if you are a local. The main reason I suggest being a local is because if you need to get ahold of anyone in the office, you'll need to just go there in person. I wouldn't suggest calling unless you have some sort of fetish of sitting on hold for eternity. Once you get there they are very helpful....... Now that you have your appointment and your ready to get seen next month, you are on your way to feeling great again. NOW... don't think for one second that you got to bypass the on hold thing just because you live in town. Once you get to your appointment next month and you have a seat in this very spacious waiting room, take a look around. You will notice there will be 1 maybe 2 people ahead of you, at this moment you think to yourself ( this will be quick) lol. This is the point where you will get to wait somewhere between 1-1 1/2 hours till someone brings you to the examination room, but don't worry the fun doesn't stop there. Once in the room you will get to wait at least another 30 to 45min. If you need to get some shopping done or feel like going to a nice sit down restaurant while you wait, just run up stairs check in and go do your thing, you will have plenty of time

In LA, if a business doesn't have reviews, or has few reviews, it means something is wrong with…read moreit. In Tacoma, it just means a true Yelper hasn't visited yet! My fiancee is stationed at JBLM and needs to continue his PT. He called this place after finding this place through his insurance he gave them a call and interrogated them, which is his standard procedure. His first impression? The receptionist picked up and sounded confident, a plus in his books. Well the result of that call is that he became a patient! He has been here about 6 times. He comes in, signs in and doesn't even get a chance to sit down as they already call him in! The only person who is ever in the waiting room for more than 2 minutes is me! I've seen multiple different patients come in and they are all treated the same. The ladies are kind and courtesy and have a bond with each patient. They are even kind to me, offering me coffee on some days. And they spend about 1.5 hours with my fiancee, who is recovering from a rotator cuff surgery. They give him a heated massage in the beginning and towards the end make him do exercises in their exercise room, which has a couple of flat beds, weights, a lat pull down machine, stair stepper, treadmill and other equipment. They take therapy seriously! Parking is a breeze, restrooms don't need keys, scheduling is simple. I and he have no conplaints about this place. They even have a fresh newspaper and ample magazines! I truly hope more people come to this office. Be on the lookout for his review!

I have went through two extended injury rehabs and currently about half way through the third, rotator cuff surgery, with these wonderful people. I have spent a lot of time with, and gotten to know, all of the three PTs and the support staff. Every one of them actually care about my success and treat me like was the most important patient they have. Truth be told, I'm just another burned out 76 year old has been athlete who used up his body in his youth. I have no regrets, and I seriously recommend you consider these professionals for your needs! Cameron, Maria, and Brittany REALLY know their stuff. Each one has been a blessing for me.

It wasn't clear at the outset if I would get full functionality back but I knew if it could be done Bruce and his staff could do it and I wasn't disappointed. After surgery I could not hold a pen or sign my name and after six months at twice a week and a willingness to work hard I have reached 98% range of motion, i'm pain free and my strength is excellent and getting better all the time. You can look at the experience of this staff, look for yourself, and you'll know why I wanted to go there. Bruce Snell and his staff IS THE PLACE TO GO for Physical Therapy. These are "The Guys". I could not be more satisfied with my outcome and after six months there I actually miss going there and working out. The staff is ultra professional, incredibly friendly, kind and sensitive to your particular pain, problems and issues. Their system is built around cross communication with other patients and it gives you a lot of courage and hope when you see someone like yourself who is farther along and encouraging you to hang in there. PT is by nature a slow 'hill-climb' process and one needs to be committed to it and willing to work. Bruce, Mike, Steve, Dave. I highly recommend Dr. Matt! After seeing multiple doctors and being told that I had to live with…read moreserious, debilitating chronic pain for the rest of my life, a friend recommended Dr. Matt. Dr. Matt (who has been practicing for 25 years) is a Palmer Chiropractic graduate. Palmer is located in Iowa and is known for producing high quality practitioners. Dr. Matt uses both table and physical adjustments. Because my entire body was injured in an assault from drunk teens at a Walgreens, he treats my entire body (not just the part that is hurting). Speed a few years ahead and I am nearly 100% healed (I had a couple of trip and falls after my first visit). Now whenever I have any issues, I see Dr. Matt first before I try anything else. Dr. Matt also sees my entire family. He has an affordable family care package for a family like ours. We have insurance, but unfortunately, the insurance does not cover chiropractic care. Dr. Matt has a monthly wellness plan for a nominal monthly amount for two health adjustments per month. The family package is shareable within my family so if more than 2 visits are required, we can draw from the family package. (His package deal is at least 1/2 the costs of other local chiropractors so our family can afford his care). I can't submit this review without mentioning Dr. Matt's staff. His office manager is Stacy, and we have to say she is most likely the kindest person walking this earth. Stacy makes every single patient feel welcome and at ease, takes time to listen to each person who enters this practice and to answer any questions. She is never too busy to connect with each patient. Crystal is the other staff that works part time and she is also lovely. Crystal was the first person I met at Dr. Matt's business. She even stood out in front of the building to help me find the office on my first visit. Kind and compassionate staff. Bonuses: Dr. Matt treats all ages - from babies and young children to adults. Additionally, Dr. Matt doesn't gaslight you and tell you that you are crazy for having pain. It isn't instant relief and there is a process to go through for chiropractic care, but it REALLY WORKS. If you are looking for relief from pain from an injury, Dr. Matt is the way to go. I highly recommend University Place Chiropractic.
