Doc I saw (Rothbart) has a very high level of competence and experience. Most of all he was willing to NOT do surgery and see how PT went. My only knock is these folks are really anti opiod and when you are in pain that's a tool in the box for a reason. As to PT... hats off to these fine folks. They are all kind and very competent. Erin is truly the best combination of kindness and skill I have seen in the PT space. So greatful I was paired with her. Can't say enough nice things! I refer these folks to others often.

A PA in Vail Colorado figured it out in one visit. Second visit with a different doctor he immediately pitched a procedure called Intracept. Ads for it were on the exam room wall. He diagnosed a different area of the spine than the Colorado specialist, pain pattern didn't even match his recommendation refused to also treat the area the other specialist recommended he would only inject the level that supports his Intracept diagnosis, and quoted success rates that omit the 55% placebo response from the clinical trial. Also worth knowing this practice uses MDidentity review gating. Happy patients go to public reviews. Unhappy patients get redirected to a private survey. That's why you see 7,000+ perfect reviews on their site and 2 stars on Yelp. We canceled and are going to an academic medical center instead. If your doctor has ads for a specific procedure on the wall before you even sit down, ask yourself who the appointment is really for.

Avoid this place. You will be a number and a check, not a patient. The Keller office manager is…read morethe worst at customer service. No one answers phones or returns phone calls. They send wrong data to my insurance making it hard to get procedures approved. It is impossible to talk to a person there. The worst customer service of any medical practice I have ever dealt with. I showed up today, ten minutes early. Was put in a room, nurse came and did blood pressure and weight. Then I waited for a hour only to have the receptionist come in and say the doctor won't see me. This is after they mis-schedule and canceled my last for appointments.

I have been suffering ever-increasing back pain for well over two years. Finally, my PCP…read morerecommended a pain management doctor. Hoping that I could get some relief, I saw this doctor several times and had an MRI followed by multiple steroid injections. The injections were essentially ineffective and my pain continued to increase. Realizing that usual pain management techniques were not going to work for me, I was referred to an orthopedic surgeon (in the same practice). A surgical treatment plan was discussed, but it sounded so invasive (with incisions front and back), that I wanted a second opinion. My PCP gave me the name of Dr. David Kosmoski ("Dr. Kos"), and I made an appointment right away. In the first meeting with Dr. Kos, he carefully explained the source of my pain (having reviewed the two MRIs and accompanying X-Rays), and assured me that a relatively simply surgery would relieve my pain. I scheduled the surgery at that first visit... I was that confident in Dr. Kos. My surgery was done a few weeks after that office visit and all went as expected; I went home that same day. The first couple of weeks post-surgery were a bit more uncomfortable that I expected or would have liked, but at about the two-week point, I took a turn for the better and have improved steadily ever since. Dr. Kos was very clear on my healing and recovery activities: the things I could do and those that I shouldn't. I followed his instructions exactly, and now, for the first time in two years - or more - I am pain free most of the time, and as my healing/recovery continues, I expect to be totally pain free soon. Obviously, I recommend Dr. Kosmoski highly and without reservation. I would be remiss if I failed to mention the excellence of his staff. They are pleasant, personable, thorough, and understanding. Thanks!
