Dr. Shepard was awful. She was not helpful and disrespectful. She would unnecessarily say my name just to say it incorrectly. She wouldn't answer my questions. She wouldn't ask me if I wanted to stop when I started crying (not my eyes just watering). The office said I needed three appointment, but put me with another doctor (that I liked) then moved me to work with Shepard. Then they proceeded to tell me I needed three appointments with her so four appointments total. It just seemed like a money grab. Overall awful experience and a waste of money and time. read more

Just for the record, I still feel like a spring chicken. But I'm finding out that, well, even chickens get creaky as they age. Dr. Rachel Westbrook and a cheerful complement of physical therapists have been godsends in getting me back to a good level of activity and comfort. They've helped with severe plantar fasciitis, crazy tight hamstrings, and terribly acute back and neck pain. Dr. Westbrook even fit in extra visits before I took a big trip to send me to Europe pain-free. I grew to look forward to all that intensive thumbwork because the short-term and long-term results were so clear. I cannot say enough about the Airrosti method and Dr. Grosch in particular... I love their approach, which is a mix of pretty intense massage/fascia release coupled with strengthening exercises to retrain the body and avoid the issue in future. I also love that the expectation (and my experience) is that 3-4 visits is all you need to feel great. This isn't like other methods where they want you to come weekly for the rest of your life. I've come for two separate injuries, a couple years apart, and the experience was exactly as good both times. HIGHLY recommend! (and check your insurance, I was surprised this was covered!) The office is clean and efficient, I never had to wait, and the staff are all a pleasure to interact with. I was almost sad at my last visit, but OVERJOYED to be out of pain :) read more

I recently visited Dr. Danielson after straining my quadratus femoris. It was extremely painful and I found Dr. Danielson to be great at helping me understand what happened and the recovery process I was in for. He was kind, cool and helped put me at ease. Additionally, I liked that as part of the treatment plan, you get a link to videos that clearly show you how to continue with the PT exercises to aid in your recovery. That was very helpful and a nice follow-up. What I didn't like so much, was the guy who handles the PT. I found his demeanor to be cold and condescending. Not sure if he treats everyone that way (who knows, maybe he's warm & fuzzy with others). At one point when he was showing me a certain stretch to do, I took out my phone to take a picture so I could remember the proper form, and he gave me a curt "No pictures" response like I was a child and not a paying client who was dropping $225 per session cash because my insurance doesn't cover them. I stopped going because I didn't like his vibe. One other thing to watch out for: I asked Dr. Danielson if I should get an x-ray to confirm the diagnosis he'd given me. He told me he didn't think it was necessary. I later was told by a friend that some doctors are under pressure to discourage patients from seeking x-rays bc it's an extra cost to insurance providers. If you feel strongly that you want an x-ray to see what's going on, then PUSH FOR IT NO MATTER WHAT. read more

I came in with some debiltating pain that prevented me from not only wokring out but limited my day to day activities. Dr. Westbrook developed a plan to get me moving quickly and then build a foundation to stengthen and stretch over time which I use even a year later as needed. I had some bad neck discomfort for over a week when I finally decided to schedule an appointment with Airrosti and was able to get in a couple of days later. At the time I was taking an excessive volume of Advil and couldn't sleep through the night. During my first appointment, my neck and shoulder were worked on and then I went to get instruction on rehab exercises at home. I felt a good amount better at the end of the visit and continued with the rehab at home. I returned for a second visit two days later and after some more work on my neck and shoulder, I was nearly back to 100%. I had a couple more exercises added to the rehab regimen that day and have been doing them all regularly. Their patient portal is fantastic as it shows videos and describes how to do each of the rehab exercises. I would have forgotten everything immediately that they showed me in the office, so their site was key in my total recuperation. I feel back to normal now (6 days after the first appointment) and will continue the rehab as instructed. I haven't taken Advil since the day of the first appointment. Dr. Drew Danielson and physical therapist Justin Krause are an excellent team. I went in a few weeks ago with severe plantar fasciitis pain. It literally hurt to walk on my feet. After a few weeks of treatment, I was not only walking, I was dancing on stage in a show in front of a packed, cheering audience. Dr. Danielson and Justin are a caring, professional, and tenacious team. Full disclosure: as Doc worked through the "crunchies" in my feet & calves, I did die a little. The process can be painful, but you heal quickly from it. The process is also dependent on your own self initiative to do the exercises outside of sessions. But once you see immediate results & improvement, you're motivated to keep doing them to see more results. The sessions were fun too because they're so positive. Dr. Drew is hilarious and he had me laughing every session. He also gave me bubblegum, so that's nice. In the past, I've gone to a podiatrist and two chiropractors. I paid for custom orthotics, steroid shots, and home exercise thingies. But nothing was as effective as old fashioned human hands-on care I received from Dr. Danielson & Justin. But in this case I feel like I owe it to Airrosti Red River and Dr. Rachel Westbrook because I have improved substantially since I saw them. When I started with this clinic, I was tighter than a drum. Shawn Small and Chad Lehman were the staff who took care of me. This team is top-notch in their ability to assess where the issue is coming from (mine was deep in my shoulder), work to release the muscles during the session (painful but worth it), and give easy exercises to do at home. They give you actual bands to take home to use in your exercises. Each time I got taped up with special tape to help my shoulder too. What was even better though, is they are willing to work with your insurance and a payment plan to ensure you have a path to recovery. Can not recommend these guys enough. The location is easy to get to and there is plenty of parking in the garage. read more

Dr. Danielson is great. He's friendly and informative and really worked with me to find the cause of my back pain, which had totally derailed my running. We ended up having to work on my back, hip flexors and even my pectoral, but it got me back up and running with several exercises to help keep me building strength in my glutes and core, which will hopefully prevent further injury. I will say, it's gonna hurt. Just know that you may end up crying like a little baby, but it will be worth it and you'll be leaving Dr. Danielson's pain cave better than you entered it. Justin is very helpful at introducing exercises that will help build strength and stability for your whole body, not just for the part of you that hurts or is injured. I highly recommend Dr. Danielson and would come back for future injury in a heartbeat (but I hope I don't have to!). read more

During my race, my left leg cramped up to the point I couldn't bend it all the way. I had to stop halfway in my trail marathon and at that point I only ran 13 miles. My running friends have done Airrosti and they said it worked for them. When I went to see Dr. Norris, he explained to me what the difference was between Airrosti and Active Release Treatments were. They are both chiropractors but Airrosti deals emphasis musclo-skeletal. He said with my injury he can cure with 3 visits I can go back to running. I was actually surprised at that. My first visit was treatment and ways to do stretches on the area I was being treated. I only saw him in two visits and I'm ready to do long runs again. read more

Dr. Kelly Grosch did an excellent job on my knee and shoulder. I had the same issue about 10 years ago and they fixed it then - I didn't keep up with the exercises so my IT band started acting up again. The knee pain caused by a tight IT band was excruciating and sharp, and I was hobbling or limping all the time.
