Since I wasn't physically at the property I decided to call around for some quotes. As soon as I spoke with someone at the Clean Air Co., I knew they were who I wanted to go with. They got it scheduled and said the technician would call me once he assessed the vent. To my surprise, the technician reported that the vent was already really clean and told me it wasn't necessary. He said he'd of course be happy to do it but he thought I'd rather save the money. I'm so grateful for his honesty. Not only was he awesome, but both of the folks in the office who I spoke with were very friendly and helpful as well. So sweet - seemed to care so much about my family, and newborn baby in the home. Gave me a quote to replace ALL the ductwork under the house... we had a large tear in some of the trunk lines under the house and a thick sludge that couldn't be cleaned out of some of the ducts... he sent someone else to do the work... the man "cleaned" some of the ducts and replaced only two lines... when he "finished" I told him the job was to replace ALL of them, not two of them... the price would be astronomical to replace two... he then commited coming back another day to finish and replace the rest and to clean/treat under the home as well with a special blue spray for free... he told me he would be back to finish the job... he took the money and ran.... After many texts with the owner and promises they were coming... they claimed they came to measure... I work from home... never saw them... the owner ghosted me. Not responding to texts. The original job was done August 8th of 2024. I hate to write a bad review of a small business. But this is bad business. Who has money to lose these days? Beware. Too late to dispute the credit card charge since he kept saying he was coming - I believed him. Shame on him.
