We were in desperate need of both a brand new HVAC and A/C unit which they were quickly able to install in a day. Did I mention our A/C happened to be on our roof 3 stories up with no direct access/ladder? They said 'not a problem' and used their own resources to safely bring down the old unit and install the new one with no issues. Use Aircor if you need the work done right and done quickly. We had a great experience with getting Aircor to come out quickly when we scheduled an appointment online and had an issue with our AC. We scheduled on Thursday night for the next afternoon. The tech came during the scheduled time slot and helped us with a temporary fix. We paid the $95 assessment fee and were told we would get a quote for a permanent fix. Two phone calls and a week later and we still haven't received a quote. We were hoping to use them again and get the issue resolved quickly, but haven't had luck in that sense. read more

I find Aircor to be very nice and very respectful. So far I have had them out 2x this year. I would hope that would be the max, give my home was built in the last 2 yrs. the pricing seams to be quite high compared to my experiences elsewhere. I needed to replace a water heater recently. Contacted Aircor, Javier was able to stop by within 3 hours after our initial phone conversation to give an estimate. The quote was very reasonable, I would say much better than what I got from the big box store. They were also able to install the heater the next morning. Air Cor replaced our furnace and air conditioner promising my landlord so all the issues would go away if we purchased new products from them. Their installation was the worst and nearly burned down the whole building. After trying to get them out to come last year to check it out, they have dodged all of our calls and told my landlord if I wanted him to come out it would be $200 an hr fee to check this out. Yesterday the whole restaurant almost burned down because of their negligence and horrible business practices. I plan on contacting the better business bureau regarding these clowns and will never let them in the premises again. After spending nearly $7000 with these guys we ended up buying a new furnace again. They are family run which is the only reason they even get one star. read more

Fast, professional, courteous and willing to educate me. The fan on our Goodman AC and heating unit was noticeably loud and rattling. I could not figure it out so I reached out to a few HVAC companies and settled on AirCor. They were professional on the phone and free to come out for an estimate. Pablo and Javier were the technicians. They came out the next morning, less than 24 hours after my call. Both were very professional courteous and offered to educate me on what the issue was and how to deal with it in the future. I had a fan speed issue, it was a quick fix that solved my issue. They were here for about 25 minutes. Getting the two techs out here to assess the issue and fix it ran me $95. This is cheaper than many companies' base fee just to come out so I'm quite happy. Was able to pay with card on an iPad and get an emailed invoice. My experience was really positive. There seem to be a few negative reviews regarding larger issues or a full system install, but I can't speak to that. For this job they were perfect. I'd recommend them to others as a helpful go-to HVAC tech. I'll definitely be calling them again if ever needed. read more

During our recent event with very cold weather my gas heating unit went out. Being new to Chicago I was at a loss who to call. I'm glad I came across the phone number for Aircor! They quickly sent someone out within an hour. He diagnosed the problem and replaced the defective part within an hour. I had them come out to diagnose a potential emergency situation with a garage heater. Emergency call out charge. They "diagnosed" the issue, showed us a random picture of a burnt out circuit board and told us the repair work would be around $1600 all in for the fixes that needed to be done and just shutoff the heater. I asked when the work would be done and to quote a new heater. I called multiple times Monday morning for an update from them and received no response until Tuesday with a quote for a heater the same price of the repair, but a different brand with no explanation. I called another company and they were out Monday afternoon, and diagnosed the problem and fixed it for a total of $250. The heater works great now, no thanks to these scam artists from Aircor. Our A/C broke when I was 9 months pregnant during the hottest week of the year (95+ degrees). We called AirCor, and they were able to prioritize our appointment and bring the necessary A/C replacement part so that our problem was fixed immediately. Horrible service. Called this company for a heating issue at home, technician came out and not only did he NOT resolve our issue but he added to the problem! He somehow managed to create a water leak and left telling us this was normal and it would stop in "a few hours"..his idea of few and mine must be VERY different. It's a shame for any consumer to have to come across such deplorable services such as what this company provides. The customer service over the phone was equally inadequate when I called back to get some help with what the technician had done. They left us high and not-so dry without even looking back. Terrible start... They were supposed to arrive between 10:00 am and 11:00 am. I called at 11:10 and the guy told me they were on the way. By 12:00, when they had not arrived or called, I called again and left a voicemail. I got a call back at 12:30 telling me they were on the way and would be there in 20 minutes. At 1:23, when they had still not arrived, I called him and he said it would be 5 minutes. I asked him for his definition of a minute. They showed up at 1:35. Very frustrating that I had to take an entire day off of work because you don't know how to appropriately manage time. The actual service from the technician was good and I felt better after what began as a very frustrating start. UPDATE: After submitting this review, I got what I consider to be a very appropriate and thoughtful email apology from the company. Rather than make excuses, they apologized. My furnace was not working and we had no idea what to do. We reached out to Aircor and they sent a team of 2 technicians out to check my furnace. After running a "full diagnostic" test and "review of my system" they informed me I needed a new transformer that would run me $350 and all would be up and running. I agreed and they replaced my transformer...then when that didn't work they informed me that my motherboard was fried and they needed to replace that and it would be good as new...I asked for a price and was informed that the cost to repair would run $950 (plus the $95 service charge) to get up and running, that they had the parts in their truck and could get it all fixed in an hour. With that high of a cost I decided to get a second opinion. When I stated that they ripped out the transformer, closed up my furnace (incorrectly and lost 2 of the screws that secured it down the drain) and charged me $95 for coming out and left. I then called Four Seasons Heating & Air Conditioning and their technician not only walked me through his entire diagnostic process, detailing what he was doing and why and half way through discovered my molex plug was not connected properly, unplugged it from the motherboard, cleaned off the connector and plugged it back in. He then instructed me to turn the heat back on and the furnace fired up like normal. He walked me through why the transformer and the motherboard were not an issue as well as due a check on other components that can sometimes cause problems down the line, discussing how they are fixed and quoted me what it would cost and that his quote would be good for a year (the part he quoted would not be needed for at least a year). Four Seasons saved me over $800. I understand that pricing can vary from place to place and the cost was not what upset me, what upset me was that my problem was grossly miss diagnosed and would have cost me $950 when in reality none of what Aircor suggested was actually needed and the problem should have been discovered during the routine diagnostic. read more

Last Spring I had another company come out because I smelled gas intermittently and $300 later, the smell would still come and go..cue Pablo from Aircor and problem solved!! I have used Aircor more than once with small jobs such as replacement of thermostats. This last time our heat didn't work during one of the coldest weeks. Diagnostic was performed quickly and parts ordered. My three stars is based on the effort it takes to schedule a visit etc. I was not called when the parts arrived and I had to call numerous times with no reply or update Thus we spent weeks without heat. When the part was finally installed the heat still did not work. A return service again took several attempts with no return call. When it was finally scheduled a wire was not connected properly on the previous visit. Fixed, but still no heat. Finally a switch was replaced on the third attempt for heat, but that again took 4 calls to get a date scheduled. Would I use Aircor again-Not likely. Heater down in early November and FINALLY fixed in mid-January. read more

Worst customer service ever as well as worst mechanics!. Had them out to look at my furnace : within two days since they did some work on it, it it stopped working again. . Called and scheduled second appointment, had to take half day off work as I was told it would be noon- to 4pm. The guy was no show no call and didn't answer the phone. When I called the office to complain, nobody answered, so I left a voice mail, which was never returned. Next day I called again and scheduled yet another appointment. This time different mechanic came. I told him that it's a second time I am having them out for the same problem,- I was told that part needs to be replaced ( last guy tried to fix it_) . I have a newborn at home and it's cold, so I told them to go ahead and replace the part- paid them the second time. Week later the problem returned. Once again I called the office and left them a voice mail clearly stating that it's am emergency as its' below freezing outside and I have a baby at home,. Once again I received NO CALL BACK. NEVER USE THEM AGAIN! there are plenty other companies that do HVAC work. read more
