I received a message the night before that they couldn't pick me up. My son received his cancellation message while on his flight. Leaving people stranded is not good business for a shuttle company. DFW is awful, but that's for another review. Part of what makes DFW awful is its stupid modular design. The terminals are too far apart. There are too many ramps within the concourses themselves. Wait, I'm not reviewing the airport here. Anyway, we were forced to use Skylink, and while there are plenty of signs that point in the direction of the stations, the stations are really really really far from some of the gates. And when you get to a station, signs very unhelpfully inform you that this train goes to these two specific lettered concourses--and to (all?) other concourses. Don't do that. On signs. Don't say a small part and also a large part that includes that small part. It's needlessly confusing. Most thinking human beings understand that all concourses include, well, all concourses, so if a person is trying to go to Concourse E, it's confusing to see a sign that reads "All A and B Gates" followed by "All Gates." The train arrived relatively quickly, but the ride itself was horrible. It accelerates way too fast, and its movement around turns is jerky and chaotic. It feels more like a poorly planned, lesser amusement-park ride than any sort of mode of transportation for people with rolling luggage, let alone seniors just trying not to fall over because there isn't enough seating and not enough time to get to the limited seating that exists. Compared to AirTrain (SFO) and even The Plane Train (ATL), Skylink is just bad.

We took him at his word after asking several questions to feel reassured. The trip was ruined when we arrived at our destination and was told the charges were $66. The miles were 23, plus one extra passenger and a start rate of $2.25. The mileage rate was $1.80 per mile. When I questioned the driver he said that was the rate. We could not see the meter it was turned away from us. We did not argue and paid the rate. Also added a $10 tip. We felt if he was right and we just had been wrong in our search of taxi rates, then we should tip. When I called the cab company the man said the rate should have been $50. He told me I had to talk with operations about the problem. When I called several times and left messages, there was no return call. I waited 8 hours. The taxi companies wonder why Uber and Lyft are doing so well! This is why!!!

He followed up by texting pictures of what he had available. The customer service was so good that I knew I would book with him, no matter the cost. Once I paid (I booked the Sprinter), Jack followed up with my drivers name, phone number and picture, and confirmed that the driver would arrive at the time I had requested. Our driver was Charles and he was AMAZING!!! Since he was 30 minutes early, I was able to sneak out and set up our champagne bottles and flutes, which Charles helped with. He made the booking process quick, easy and stress free. We used their party bus which was fully equipped with Ice, waters, amazing lighting, comfortable seats, TV's & microphones . We didn't know if we should upgrade to the karaoke package but after being in the bus for a few min it was a no brainer. The driver gave us a few microphones and set the tv screen to sing along to all our favorite songs. The driver was on time at every stop and made sure we had all made it back safe before we would head to our next spot. All in all this company exceeded my expectations. If you are looking for a great time this is definitely the only company in DFW you should call.
