When we had…read morethe trial, Trish spent a lot of time explaining the products she was using, and discussing options with me, and going over the pictures I brought for inspiration. The trial went pretty well, although there were definitely a few things we agreed needed to be different. On the day of the wedding, Trish showed up 15 minutes early to get set up. She did a fantastic job on my makeup! It turned out exactly how I wanted it to -- very natural and pretty and "me", but still glamorous and "dressed up". I got plenty of compliments on my makeup throughout the night. It was also a pretty warm day, and the venue was kind of hot inside, so I definitely experienced some facial perspiration. But despite that, the makeup didn't budge or fade. Even better, the makeup did NOT look caked on at all in person, and it didn't feel like I was wearing any. A+ for that! It was definitely something I worried about since I know you should wear fuller coverage for photography. We got a few sneak preview pics back from the photographer, and my face looks absolutely flawless and perfect. Hooray! It's also worth mentioning that I am a redhead. Fellow redheads know how hard it is to find a competent makeup artist who actually knows how to do makeup on redheads (let alone find makeup colors that flatter a redhead's complexion). I've had my makeup done before, and often times they go too brown/neutral, or too intense/dark, or they just don't do enough, making me look washed out. Trish got it just right. It's also worth mentioning that Trish has a totally sweet, fun and positive personality. Her enthusiasm is contagious, and exactly the kind of demeanor you want from your wedding vendors. I can't recommend Trish enough for wedding day services!

At first I was a little hesitant to go with Alexis because her fee seemed high. But thank goodness I DID go with her. When I saw the photos Rebecca took, I could see that Alexis was worth three times what she charged me. I never would have gotten such great photos without Alexis's makeup; Rebecca Wilkowski's camera LOVED Alexis's makeup. In the photos I look fresh and natural (and about ten years younger); any and all flaws I possess were invisible. The trial run went beautifully. When Emily showed up for bow practice, all the other girls commented on how stunning Emily's makeup was. On the day of the Presentation Ball, Meghan met with Emily again and did her make-up just like before and it lasted beautifully for hours.
