It's too complicated. You need a new system anyway- it's old" said I needed a complete replacement because they can't service my air conditioner anymore - wanted to sell me a $10k unit. Branden came over and did a long look at my unit and agreed that it was an electrical thing- apparently he WAS willing to figure out what was going wrong- got it going again and said when it stops working again to call him so he can figure out where the wiring needed replaced. Spent a long time at my house. Well, it went out a month later and he came over and did everything he could to figure out where the wiring problem was. Took a couple visits and lots of trial fixes. Said he could service my AC just fine in the future and fixed the issue- everything working again. He also has lots of options for when I do need to replace my older system- but it's not now. Very conscientious, very knowledgeable and very patient and tries very hard to fix the problem without taking shortcuts and not wanting to do the work cares more about the customer than making a big sale.

The following is a honest review of Aireserv Eureka a company that has stumbled in their service…read morenearly from the moment we bought an Amana HVAC unit from them in August of 2024. The original much more critical 1 star review is below and it is all still very true but they have as of mid August 2025 rectified some of their errors by honoring repairs and warranties that Amana refuses to honor. Does that completely erase all the errors that have been made along the road? Honestly no they do not, but I appreciate that they are currently doing their best to repair what was wrong. They very well might be a very good company but my wife and I's recent experience has been rocky at best. Update to a 3 -3.5 star rating. THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1 STAR REVIEW. : Based off of positive reviews on Yelp and Google my wife and I chose to buy a new HVAC unit from Aireserv Eureka in August of 2024. In no less than 3 MONTHS our unit broke down, something was literally smoking, due to a failure to install the unit properly. Then in March of 2025 we discovered that they installed a unit that for natural gas, which we do not have, instead of propane WHICH THEY SHOULD HAVE KNOWN SINCE THE PIPES ARE APPARENTLY VERY DIFFERENT. So yet another overhaul was made. Then in June of 2025 we started to notice the coldest we could get the house was 75 degrees. So we called for another checkup and they "supposedly" fixed it, saying it had been improperly calibrated during installation. But one month later, in July, our unit broke down AGAIN. This time completely, leaving our house in the 90s. Now as I right this in August of 2025 THE HOTTEST PART OF THE YEAR they have yet to fix my unit. Week after week, yes you have read that correctly, it has been weeks since we called them to fix our unit, we have had to call them over 20 times. So far we are at week 3 and moving soon to 4. Airserve Eureka's horrible service has so far consistented of misdiagnosis, instillation of wrong parts, incorrect calibration of the unit, and long waits (4+ days) while a part ships. They have given an excuse for everything, always blaming someone else (Amana). According to them, none of this is their fault. They are playing the victim of corporate manufacturing. But, why would you want to reach out to a company who has no control over the services they offer? We then said, since there are so many issues with my unit from the start and I am still under warranty, why don't they just install a new unit. So far they have refused to honor the warranty because Amana won't. I'm not writing this bad review out of spite but as a civic duty to report incompetence in what is falsely sold as good. I hope those of you reading this heed my warning about Airserve Eureka. They are just plain terrible. UPDATE: In mid late August 2025. Aireserv Eureka decided to ignore Amana's horrible lack of honoring our warranty and installed a new RUUD unit. Let's hope this goes better than this last year's trials. I'd definitely not recommend Amana for a future HVAC regardless of the positive reviews they have online. Eureka honestly doesn't deserve a stellar 5 star review but they have tried to do right currently so perhaps they again as mentioned above deserve more a 3-3.5 Star rating.

Hands down best service experience I have ever had!…read more My tech was Joe and he not only was extremely kind and respectful with a positive attitude. Being new to the midwest, I was not very familiar with heat pump systems. There was water leaking from the unit and I filed a claim with my home warranty service who matched me with New Systems AC and Heating to complete my claim. Being new to a city, in my experience at least, home repair service companies tend to be hit or miss especially when you are under a warranty who only have select companies who they choose to contract with. I can't express enough how please I am that we were paired with New Systems AC + Heating. Our tech, Joe really went the extra mile to explain to me how my system worked and answered every single one of my questions that I bombarded him with. He was thorough, worked hard and gave helpful advice/tips on ways to best run the system to maintain its high performance and extend its longevity. In fact, I was so impressed with the service, I called the company after the tech left to let them know how outstanding i thought there tech was and I am not one to usually do that. Their receptionists are also very chipper and upbeat and very accommodating to any needs or requests I have made. All in all, a very impressive company that was knowledgable, provide good work, go above and beyond for their customers and are fair and honest. They earned a loyal lifetime customer and I will make it a point to recommend this company in the future to friends, colleagues and neighbors.

I was remiss in writing a review at that time, but not this time. As I cleaned and turned on my units for the year I was faced with a leak in one of the A coils. I called a local hvac company (first mistake) they were closer and I assumed a shot of Freon would fix it (second mistake). I was then informed that my A coil was leaking and shot, they also informed me the A coil was no longer available and the repair would be 3000.00 dollars. Back to square one, and the call that I should have made in the beginning to Wolfmeier. Greeted on the phone by Paula, she remembered me, pulled my original records and not only informed me that it was still under warranty, butt that they still make the coil. They ordered the coil drove over an hour and replaced it for only the labor cost. I have never been treated better and wont be able to thank or recommend them enough. Everyone should go through Wolfmeier for their HVAC concerns

The other company said the water heater needed to be moved. Sam showed me proof he hadn't moved the location of the water heater from its original spot that it sat on for over 20 years. He offered to rewire it so I wouldn't need batteries. OK. He went downstairs to the furnace and instantly ripped out and damaged the new expensive model filter I had just installed that day. He worked to repair it to be useable while lecturing me to 'keep the metal side up' on the filter. It's actually my fault. I didn't ask him what the filter has to do with the thermostat wiring. Then he was back upstairs at the thermostat and suddenly charged out onto my wood deck glistening with wet stain that I had just done that morning. I yelled to stop and asked what he was doing, and he said he was going out to look over the edge at my outdoor a/c unit and came back in. I later noticed stain on the carpet inside the door. Then he frantically asked me to use my bathroom! I can't say 'No" to a person, but I would also rather not have a stranger in my bathroom behind closed door. He was only there 15 minutes max. Ridiculous. Just hold it or deal with that prior to getting here. After he left, I realized the wall thermostat light wouldn't turn off. I called and another helpful and friendly repairman came out on the next work day and got the light to turn off on the thermostat. No extra charge. Not happy. I feel the correct thing to do is tell someone that all they need is two AA batteries when their wall thermostat goes dead, not charge them $135 for it. If the person answering phones is not aware of AA batteries in wall thermostats, then she is not paying attention and clueless. Not a good thing for a company. If she did know about AA batteries but company policy is to keep that secret and charge 135 for it, then they prove themselves to be greedy and not "good people". My biggest regret, other than calling them, is not taking legal action about the stain on my carpet from his hyperactive carelessness. I'll never allow them into my house again. Try High Ridge Heating and Cooling. That's a good guy.
