First off thank you for keeping admission free. I really like the folks who work here. Inside you can learn from the docents, and all of them are super nice. Quite a few are retired military. Have been here several times, and it was fun to return today. Here you can see and hear the fighter jets, from the Air Force Base practically next door. That alone was exciting, as believe it was an F15 I saw flying quickly. This museum has quite a few aircraft on display. My favorite is NASA's Kestrel. This was a research plane. Also they have an F4 Phantom, F86 Sabre, A4, A7, and a few other older fighter jets to look at. They are showing their age however. My hope is they can get new paint jobs, and perhaps they can get some newer ones. Still worthwhile.

Great place for toddlers/ kids! Loved the awesome photos opportunities you can take of your kids here. There's lots of signs that say keep off grass, I'm not sure if it's just to not get you too close or what but it was a nice quick adventure.

Ever since moving here in 2011. I have driven past this park many times just thinking it was a section showing models of planes and spacecraft. Little did I know that it was more to it. Thanks to the Yelp Adventure Challenge, I was able to check out what I was missing all these years. And boy was it a treat. To start off, once you enter the building, you have to wear a mask at all times and stay 6 feet apart from each other. And when you go to the front desk, it is covered with plexiglass to protect yourself and the clerk. In other words, the new normal. And one that the staff is doing well to make sure every guest is safe and sound. As far as the displays go, they are amazing. They cover airplanes used on aircraft carriers and space exploration. You can walk outside on your own pace and view each exhibition along with information on each item. And if you have children, there is a playground in the back where they can play. Also, there is a 2-mile trail that was newly constructed leading to Power Plant Parkway if you want to get some more exercise on a nice day. And inside the building, there are more exhibits so if you're interested in aviation, then you're in heaven.

I had no idea this was here! So many static planes, a small area to fish, a welcome center/Museaum and a long walking bridge. The kiddos liked running around checking everything out. It is just off the highway and there is plentiful parking. It's a nice small activity to do. Check it out.

This is a really cool experience for any toddler that are into airplanes and space. With the added playground, you can't lose. The path was enjoyable for the whole family. The gentleman in the museum was knowledgeable and very kind. Very few displays with plenty of model airplanes but free is me. I can't complain.

Great little park with some cool aircraft for the kids. The indoor portion is pretty small but it does a great job for what it is

What I didn't realize was that the small building in the middle of all the aircrafts was actually a small museum.

He was so helpful and also provided bags of feed to our children while we walked around. While walking around, we were able to see many animals . One of our favorite areas was the garden area. Our children really enjoyed watching and looking at some of the items they were growing, whether it was produce or flowers. Another area we enjoyed was the playground . Our children in our classroom are older, but they were able to enjoy the playground as well. There was plenty of seating around the playground so you could sit and watch the children. The bathrooms were pretty clean for the type of area we were at . All of the staff that we came in contact with were fantastic. There was a lot of hard-working staff members there whether they were feeding animals or watering or attending to ground crew chores. The parking lot is pretty large. It can accommodate both vehicles and buses. We will definitely return .

Right near the entrance, you'll find clean and well-maintained restrooms--something every parent can appreciate! Off to the side, there are fantastic sensory and fine motor skill activity stations that are thoughtfully designed for all kids, including those with sensory needs. The highlight for many is the amazing playground. It's spacious and exciting, and best of all, the swings are inclusive and accessible for children with disabilities, which makes this space truly welcoming for everyone. In addition to all the fun, there are friendly farm animals to visit and interact with, which is always a hit with little ones. Plus, there are not just one but two free little libraries on-site (1:the one for kids is located near the garden gazebo and main animal area 2: The young adult one is located near the swings leading you to the fine motor skills and sensory bin area) perfect for encouraging reading and relaxing in a peaceful setting. I highly recommend packing a lunch a blanket and grabbing a book and enjoying by the small pond. Lots of photo and learning opportunities here! Bird Bird Gap Farm is more than just a place to play it's a space that values accessibility, creativity, and community. Highly recommend! Look out for the white peacock!

And it looks like I found a brand new one to add to my locations. Riverview Farm Park is located by Menchville High School. It has a playground area and soccer field for kids to play. They also have group shelters reserved for large picnics. For you trail lovers, they have a 2-mile loop where you can walk, jog or run. Some can even ride bikes. There aren't many trees around so walking during the summertime may not be your cup of tea. But it was really nice to take a morning stroll here with friends, even during cold weather. Everything was paved, which helps when your avoiding water puddles and such. Also, there is a separate trail located by the park visitor center where you have a view of the Warwick River. We didn't get the chance to go that route but will check it out when the weather becomes warmer. Again, this trail gets a thumbs up from yours truly and my friends. Till next time :)
