The customer service and attentiveness by every person I have ever dealt with has been stellar!!! From the staff that answers the phones to the technician that comes to the house is all 5 star!! I especially appreciate the yearly plan that I have which I know extends the life of my unit. It's a great value!! I also like how I get text updates letting me know what time my tech will be at my home, their name and a photo so I know who to expect. My last service tech was David and he was great!! read more

as always here on time and quick to respond. David as usual is awesome and knows what he is doing

Extremely professional company, I'm extremely happy with their service and will continue to use them. They're prompt with their appointments and they keep you informed at all times their employees are extremely professional. You always know who's coming to your home. Pictures are sent of the technician and they never walked into the house with a dirty shoe. Their prices are very reasonable Congratulations air on demand on the amazing work. read more

as usual, Joel showed up on time and replaced a defective part on the Unit that was covered under warranty. Air On Demand is very responsive and great to work with. I trust them with probably the most important thing in my house - my AC!! read more

The technician is thorough, reliable, and knowledgeable, ensuring we have cool air in hot summers.

We have been using Air on Demand for years and recommend their services. Very polite and responsive.

They do an amazing job! Came out right away and got the unit running again that night.

They are not available 24/7 on a Saturday as their website says. There is no same day service. Can't even get through to speak to a real person. Only an AI system that wants to schedule for 2 days later. read more

Technician arrived on time. He was able to complete all necessary work even though much more was done than expected.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This company installed a brand-new AC unit in my home about 7 years ago, it cost me over $11,000, and it has never worked properly since day one. Every 3-4 months without fail, I've had to call them back because something breaks down. And each time, instead of solving the root problem, they patch things up and hand me another enormous bill. Over the years, I've paid $400 here, $700 there, even $2,500 at one poinr, all on top of the original cost. Despite all that money, my system still doesn't run reliably. It's the same cycle: breakdown, call them, pay hundreds (or thousands), repeat. They never take responsibility for their faulty installation or poor workmanship. Bottom line: Do yourself a favor and never do business with Air on Demand. Their work is unreliable, their "repairs" don't last, and they'll drain your wallet with constant service calls. I regret ever trusting them with such a major investment. read more

great job on the maintenance as always. the tech was on time and even gave suggestions how to keep my unit running smoothly.

Ramon of Air on Demand quoted me $6980 for a Daikin 5 ton Central AC unit, which model number doesn't exist with the manufacturer. He offered to install the same day. I told me I wanted him to pull a permit. He said we can install now and request permit later that we have 3 months to do. This isn't true. The County requires the permit to be approved first before an installation is done. I asked him about the lawsuits they've had and he denied them. I sent him pictures of them and blamed the homeowner. Not only did the homeowner sue this company but so did the homeowner's insurance company because they had to payout the claim of mold for faulty installation. Ramon kept pressuring me to install without a permit. He also installed for my cousin and never pulled the permit. read more

We had AC issues on a Sunday & this was one of the few companies that didn't charge a ridiculous amount to come out on a weekend. They charged $97 which would be credited towards repairs over $300, under $300 that $97 would still be charged. A great tech named David came out & got us up and running. He was very knowledgeable! Monday morning the office called & gave us a quote of $1,300 to repair a part under warranty. That charge is only labor for a job they said would take no more than one day. When I asked for a price breakdown they said that was a flat rate & if I was unwilling to pay I could go elsewhere. Asked them to email me the info so I could review it & the gentleman said sure, then hung up without actually asking for my email address. Was really hoping to work with them because we had such a great experience with their technician, if only the office staff was less rude! read more

This is the worst experience that I have had with any AC company. Rather than fix a leak, they made me pay $900 to replace the entire line. Six weeks later, I have no Freon in the unit and the compressor blew. Clearly, they never fixed the leak. Since the unit is still relatively new and under warranty, they told me to call another company that is licensed to do warrantied work (they charged me another $80 to come out and tell me this). Stay away!!! read more

Excellent company and you get what you pay for! If you give them a try I promise you they will be your go to company. Many companies will give you cheaper "quotes " but this company might seem a bit higher but trust me they are worth it. You can either pay fair now or pay more later like I had to. read more

Air On Demand is great. We have a duplex and AOD has installed the ACs and maintained them for several years. They've performed our yearly maintenance and responded very quickly to an issue with a drain pain being plugged. Mike, was our technician and stayed in contact with both us ( owner ) and our tenants. Thank you. Finding and using AOD was a very good thing! read more

It took almost a week to get a call back then the dispatcher was so rude I didn't bother to schedule the service

The technician seemed very knowledgeable, he was right on time to give the estimates, and the prices were great. He was the only technician who was able to find a second unit on the roof that everyone else missed, which was part of the problem at the property. read more

It disappoints me to have to write a bad review but I feel that all potential customers need to be aware of my experience before you choose an a/c company. I just bought a new house and the a/c stopped cooling. I called AOD and a repairman promptly came out. He noticed the outside unit was not running and without even opening the unit proceeds to tell me that it was an old unit, his manager told him not to do anything, I just needed a new system. Mind you, I have just bought a house and pretty much spent all my savings. I asked if there was any options that will get me through just for now. The repairman kept saying that it was not worth it, it was old, nothing could be done. His manager approved to waive the service call fee of $89.95 because nothing could be done but purchase a new system and his sales department would come out and give me an estimate for the new one. I was flabbergasted thinking where I was going to get an extra $5000-$7000 for a new a/c system. Luckily, my handyman was in the house hearing this and immediately called an a/c repairman he works with who inspected the unit, saw that it was the compressor, offered me the option of a new or refurbished compressor. I took the refurbished for $300 with a one year warranty to give me some time to save up for a newer system. I felt totally aggravated that they would put me or anyone through this angst and not even offer an option. I realize that my a/c is old and I will need to get a new one but when I do I WILL NOT get it from AOD. read more

Was referred to them from our Yelpers and the 5 star service is legit. From calling them on the phone to the serviceman who was in my driveway, everything was perfect. The two ladies that answer the phone are so respectful and courteous. I LOVE great customer service. When the man arrived at my house he was actually waiting on me which I did feel bad. He arrived earlier than I thought. Well he did the tests on my AC and was very honest with me. He gave me a rough estimate of what everything would cost and for me to look into some other options. I would've spend about $1000 with them but after calling the company who installed it, it would be cost effective to go with them. I definitely wouldn't mind going to this company again. I love their professionalism and no bull caca. I would not look any further than Air on Demand. read more

Got an estimate back in October by Mike, very professional. I told him that wasn't ready yet it, was hoping to pushing the unit for another 3-4 months. May 2016, Called to get the work started and spoke to Shannon, great customer service, she had my estimate from October and was able to send Chris out after 5:30pm that very same day for the paper work. Finally Bernard, (the installer) arrived first thing Saturday morning and was non-stop till about 5pm. Professional, clean & punctual! They took care of the rebates, the old unit and left everything as clean as they found it. I had 3 different companies come out, 2 from Angie's list and AOD from Yelp, trust your fellow yelpers. read more

Air On Demand - Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC Near Me - Miami, Florida

Air on demand, or air on regular working hours M thru Friday. Air if you pick up your phone when they're ready to dispatch even though you called to verify the time of arrival was between "1 to 3" and letting them know you're home. I been a loyal customer for over 8 years and was not at all expecting just poor customer service. We were actually waiting on them when I could have easily gotten an appointment with another company at an earlier time. I was very rudely told that they don't dispatch technicians unless someone answers their call right before they sent someone out which also has never been a thing in the past. I had my mom literally sit and wait since 1 because they were set to arrive between 1 an 3. K made it sound like I was blatelently ignoring their calls which happened in a space of 6 minutes. One of their employees was like "can't fit you in today, or the next morning" And it took me a total of 13 minutes to get a hold of everyone because of this missed call. Really? She was also super rude. The cherry on top is that they were also running almost whole hour off their time of arrival estimate when they called which was closer to 4 and nowhere in between 1 to 3. Anyways, I decided to cancel on the the principal and whole ordeal of their horrible attitude and disgusting customer service. THIS PART OF the review is written after the companies lovely response I said that I called the office back after 6 minutes of me receiving the call and getting an attitude from the receptionist, not that I got everyone on the same page in 6 minutes. When I called back the first time I assumed something happened and that my mom wasn't at my home waiting like she told me she would, giving the company the benefit of the doubt. I was irate the second time I called which was after K told me she couldn't do anything for me that day, not immediately, because it was already too late. I was irate because I found out that my mom had actually called the office to let them know she was STILL waiting because they were running late and when I mentioned this to their receptionist she gave it off like she talked to someone else. I had this as a draft for so long I'm so glad that I posted it now. I stand by everything I say and j How even as no longer a customer I feel their current justification is garbage customer service. After reading a few other bad reviews I wonder if my AC also just needed a new compressor. read more

Fast and knowledgeable service. Thank you Raymond! My AC went out on Saturday night and on Sunday morning, Raymond was here and got it straightened out in a flash! It wasn't a simple fix, either. I would highly recommend him and his company to anyone who needs their AC fixed or maintenance done. Definitely enroll in their maintenance program to save you the stress and strain of having your AC checked on like it should, especially in S.Florida! read more

I was quoted on the phone that it would cost "$500 and up" to clean an AC drain line, pan, and coil! What a joke

Great service at a fair price ! Highly recommend . Fast , efficient and accurate on the diagnosis. I will use them from now on.

Had a new AC installed yesterday. They've been great from the sales to customer service and installation. Very professional and helpful. We found mold behind our old unit and they made sure to accomodate us with extra time to make our repairs and sent a second team to complete the job, the same day. read more

I can't believe I almost forgot to write a review for Air on Demand. I called on Saturday for a request to change my air conditioning system, got a call back on Sunday and Raymond was there bright and early Monday morning. Once all the work was done they made sure that I knew how to operate my new system, and as the summer is arriving I'll be nice and COOL!!!! read more

On March 12, 2012, I called several companies to come over and give me an estimate to clean the coils from my a/c unit since it hasn't been done in awhile. The first one that came out "Cool Air USA" nice guy and he told me what's wrong with my unit. My unit was 15 years old, the coils were rusted out and mold has already developed in the unit. He explained that he couldn't guarantee the work of just cleaning the coils because of the possibility of the coils falling apart because it was rusty.. He was very pushy and very persistent and kept insisting that I needed to purchase a unit THAT DAY and have him install the unit immediately.. I explained to him that I don't work that way. I don't like to be rushed into anything and I'd like to continue getting some estimates and weigh my options.. While he was present in front of me, I went to BBB and other sites to check out the reviews of "Cool Air USA" history. It was totally negative and a RED FLAG was placed on this company from BBB. That totally made my antennas go up and I advised the rep from "Cool Air USA" that I would give them a consideration if I wasn't able to obtain a better quote. On March 14, 2012, I met with James Flora, from "AIR ON DEMAND". Really cool laid back young man and I waited until he was done with his inspection to see if he would come up with the same results from the rep of "Cool Air USA". He was very honest and said similar things that the other company's rep stipulated. He mentioned that the unit was old but that he was able to clean it as best as he could in the meantime and that would buy me some time to come up with the money and purchase a new unit in the near future. Never pushy, very wholesome and like I said laid back kind of guy. One thing that stood out with James than from the other company's rep, he was not demanding nor looking for a quick sale. He laid out my options, gave me the green light and took all the time in the world to literally answer all my questions and concerns. He was very informative. In front of James, I checked with BBB and other sites with the reviews on "AIR ON DEMAND". Literally everything was positive. No RED FLAG no where to be seen. This was a major factor that made me make my decision.. Instead of cleaning the unit and hold off until later, save that $300 and invest it in a new unit and not worry about it for another 10 years +. I immediately got a quote from James and cut him a check for half of the quote. On March 19, 2012, literally two business days later, my new unit was installed by James and working just fine. Now that's what I call service. I'm so happy with them that I recommend this company highly for your a/c needs. My family is already looking to call them for their needs.. This is definitely a company you can trust and not worry you're getting ripped off. Thanks again, James. Wendy read more

I called two companies to come look at me AC one could not come out till the next day. Air on demand came the same day. They looked at it told us they can fix it but it is such an old unit the cost of repair would be close to the price of replacing the system. So the repairman gave us a quote for the new system and this was on a Tuesday we looked over the quote and I called the next day. The new system was installed on Monday and we could not be happier. The rebates have is a really good deal Trane offers a rebate as well as FPL if you have a system over 15 years old its not worth the money to fix it. read more

Highly recommend Air on Demand. They were able to come the very same day for our AC unit and Adam was quick and very personable. He was able to patch up the fix and explain exactly what was wrong. Made an appointment for them to come to my house. The appointment was made over a week in advance. They wrote down the wrong time slot I had requested. They never sent a confirmation of any kind for me to know they had copied down a different time slot than i had requested. I stayed home form work - waited all morning - after i called, they informed me of the time slot they had on record. Waste of a day. "When you originally called on 4/7 we set a time for 11-2" thats is where your mistake is - I said it had to be done by 12 and was told I had an appointment set for 9-12. Own up to it - the reason I did not reschedule is My wife and I were getting blamed for the wrong appointment time by your office people too. read more

Right in the middle of August our A/C went haywire and ran the A/C AND the heat at the same time, and wouldn't turn off! Our previous A/C company sent out an inept technician on a Saturday who couldn't solve the problem. On Monday, a more seasoned tech responded and pulled the heater wire, and he said it wouldn't be worth fixing the system. Desperate for PROFESSIONALS to do the job, I found Air on Demand (AOD) first on the Ygrene website, and then on Yelp. TRUST the Yelp reviews! The same day I called, Mike Pinkerton responded. He is a friendly and neighborly salesman. He checked our old system and our house, and in a few hours had e-mailed me a detailed estimate, with low, medium, and high options. I chose the mid price option, and received an apx. 4% discount for military service. I did get estimates from 2 companies on Angie's List, but NOBODY even came close to their prices, especially when they offer 10 years parts and labor, and a LIFETIME guarantee on the compressor on the unit they sell. We signed with Mike on the Thursday before Labor Day. They came the following Tuesday for the installation. (This wasn't a problem, we had A/C unlike some other customers waiting, we just had to turn it off and on manually). Our installer was "T.J." He was friendly, courteous, and had an air of professionalism about him that was refreshing to see in a young person. He advised us what was happening every step of the way. He pointed out some holes in the air handler closet the previous installer hadn't taken care of, resulting in hot air being pulled into the system from the attic! He sealed the closet completely, and installed a new thermostat after putting in the air handler. He hauled away the old units, as well as the old concrete pad outside. All work areas were cleaned. Hallelujah, the unit worked great! Later, Mike called to make sure all was well, and later, returned for the city inspection. On AOD's Yelp page business pictures, there was an offer of a free air cleaner with purchase of a new system. I called the office where the receptionist, Jessie, was very courteous and helpful. Within an hour of speaking with her, a technician arrived and within 15 minutes had installed a state of the art bipolar ionization generator for FREE! It's nice dealing with a company that keeps it's word! In addition, with the purchase of the system, you get 1 free checkup per year for 3 years, and 12 air filters for the first year! After that, the warranties require a maintenance plan to remain valid, but having a maintenance plan is just prudent to have for an A/C unit in Miami! My neighbors both have plans with AOD, and they are extremely pleased with their services and the prices of the plans. I look forward to dealing with this very professional company in the coming years. I would highly recommend AOD to anyone who wants HVAC done right! read more

Called them on Monday, the tech showed up on Tuesday as scheduled. We were on the way to look at the unit when he stopped to put on booties. Nice! I'll be using them again! read more

Had an issue with my Nest. Air on Demand was on the list that Nest provided. Chris called 30 minutes prior to the appointment and arrived on time. They accepted a credit card and emailed me the invoice. Exactly what I needed. read more

1st, I never complain because my approach is to make praise and if I am not happy, let it alone. This was upsetting because the technician came out and made a quote without even thinking of fixing the unit. Second, his quotes were higher than all others. Third, I explicitly stated that the technician should talk to the owner and not give specifics to the tenant. The professional gave a higher quote than all the other quotes. He then emailed the quote and the specifics to the tenant. I am tired of someone trying to get my business but not following my requests. I appreciate professional service. I am disappointed. read more

This is my second time using this company. I did have an issue contacting them, I would request information or a quote and would not get a response, but after my third attempt I was called @ 8:30 am the next day, this was not a big issue for me. I was able to schedule a AC duct cleaning for the following Monday. This day before I received a text from the company to remind me of the appointment, and the day of I was called @7:45am and told they were on the way, shortly after I received another text with the information of the workers coming to my house and a picture of who to expect. They started around 8:45-9am and where finished around 11:30am. The workers where very professional and cleaned up after themselves when finished. Will continue to do business with them. read more
