We picked Air Flo based on a home building friends recommendation. We don't have a problem with the system, we picked a Trane heat pump and air handler. They did a fine job on the installation as well. We were disappointed with their customer service on a specific issue. Our system was accidently set to "emergency" mode which means the heat pump part does not turn on and heat is generated from the air handler (furnace). I called to ask them to help thinking this could be something they could do remotely, a function allowed with new thermostats. They said we were not in their system and rather than try to walk us through how to set the system up online to fix it remotely, they sent a tech out and charged us $160 to push a button setting. Not wanting to sound cheap, but when we learned that they did not need to come out and did not offer to help set it up, they refused to refund all or even a portion of the service call. I nagged my boyfriend for months to get a heat pump installed because his house was way too hot in the summer and as winter was approaching way too cold. Our sales person suggested a few options for us which was great. He spent the time to give us 3 proposals. We decided on 2 air handlers and a Mitsubishi heat pump system. It has been great thru the cold winter and I can't wait to turn on the AC this summer. I also know that adding this to the house has increased its value. A total Win-Win. This is a very impressive company. Had issues, emergency heat only, heat pump not coming on. I emailed them after hours, did not expect to hear back until the AM they emailed me back in less than 20 minutes. I received a call first thing in the AM confirming appointment time. Eli was the technician, couldn't ask for a more professional, polite and sincere tech. Turns out it was operator error! Didnt make me feel like an idiot and charged me the bare minimum. Terrible customer service. Called for an appointment, receptionist said they would call me back but never did. When I called back they said nothing available until November. Two months???? Then when I said I was going to check with another local company the receptionists tone of friendliness changed. Before hanging up, she never said bye or thank you for calling. Nope. If you want a professional installation of a mini split system with a fantastic price then this is the company you need to hire.Their install techs led by Matt were above reproach! He took the time to explain the entire process of the install plus he made sure we understood how to operate our new heating/AC system before they left. The installation was clean,organized,and exceeded our expectations. I received quotes from 4 different companies, and they were by far the most trustworthy with a great price and a quality Mitsubishi product on top of it all! Air Flo just installed a ductless heat pump in my condo in Winslow. Everyone from sales to the installers were great. The installation went exactly as discussed with the sales person. We went with Air Flo to replace our home's 18 year old dual fuel heat pump/gas furnace. We went with the Mitsubishi Hyper Heat (H2i) split system. The techs went the extra mile to make sure the system was installed perfectly. Not well, but perfect.
