Ghosted us. Yesterday, November 3, 2022, we won our lawsuit against him in Clallam Superior Court, Got a judgment against him, and attached his contractor Bond. His contractor license has been canceled by Washington state, his bonding company canceled him and he has no insurance. My recommendation, obv, is to steer clear.

**please read this whole review**…read more this man is a criminal. i don't know how he keeps getting jobs or how he is not in jail. he stole over 4000 dollars from our family a year and a half ago and he is still up to his same games to this day. the following is copied from my small claims statement: reason for indebtedness: breach of contract on january 8th, 2022, the agreed upon 50% deposit for heating and cooling installation was paid in the amount of 4177.25, invoice 172. a lead time for installation was estimated at 3-4 weeks through text message. after 9 weeks, i made an attempt through email, text message and phone to find out what the schedule looked like and when i could expect installation to commence. an installation date of april 18th & 19th was agreed upon and when monday the 18th came, clemco did not respond to phone calls or text messages two hours after the agreed upon meeting time. i went to the address that is listed on the invoice to find out that mr. clemons operates out of his home. mr. clemons was home. during this conversation, i informed mr clemons that i would not be requiring his services any longer and that i wanted my deposit back. after repeated attempts to get my refund, mr. clemons informed me through text message on thursday, april 28th, that he would be issuing me a refund for 100% of my deposit and on wednesday, may 4th, mr clemons brought me a check in the amount of 4177.25 post dated for tuesday, may 10th. on monday, may 9th, mr clemons informed me through text message that his bank had rejected a check that had been deposited and that he had to put a stop payment on the check that he had issued me. on tuesday may 10th i went to 1st security bank (clemco's bank) and i was instructed to return the next day at 9 am. when i returned to the bank at 9 am on may the 11th, i was informed that the account had insufficient funds. i reported mr clemons to the sheriff's department. deputy brooks and his partner came to my office and took my statement and a copy of the check that was issued to me. after the deputies met with mr. clemons they informed me that mr. clemons planned on refunding my deposit with charges for work that he had put into my installation. there was absolutely no work put into my install other than the free estimate that was provided on december 7th 2021. as of 5/18/22 there has not been a refund and mr. clemons is not taking my calls. do not hire this man. he is a criminal and he needs to be in jail for his crimes.

I wanted to have a new heat pump installed in my house and started out with estimates from all the…read morebig name places (Costco, Home Depot, Lowes) and a few local places including Bainbridge Heating and Air. When the owner (Curt) came to do an estimate he was upfront about all of the work that needed to be done and didn't try to hide the cost with hidden discounts and rebates. When it was all said and done, the next closest bid was $500 more than what I paid to Bainbridge Heating and Air. The day of install went really well, the crew got to my house around 9 am and finished up around 4 pm so I experienced minimal downtime with my heat which is a bonus in December. They did come back the next day to install a filter they had forgot but this only took an hour at the most. The crew was very courteous and professional during the whole process and was able to answer all of the questions I had. They're even part of Kitsap County's Repower program which combined with some other energy upgrades I had done, got me another $400 rebate on top of the $1800 rebate I got from PSE for the heat pump. It's been 4 months now since I've had my system installed and I couldn't be happier. My house feels much warmer and I've seen on average a 30% reduction in my electricity costs. I'm not sure what happened in these negative reviews but I would highly recommend you give Bainbridge Heating and Air a call if you're looking into getting a new heating system.
