Kevin did a great job of diagnosing and explaining what was going on with our AC unit. He was courteous and professional.

Joseph got up in the attic and cleaned and drained equipment. Nice gentleman and recommend.

I managed to setup an appointment right away. The service rep was at my house on time. Kevin, our service rep, identified the problem and fixed it very quickly. He was patient, pleasant to work with and very courteous. I will definitely ask for Air Experts and ask for Kevin again next time if we have any problems with our HVAC. Great job that FIrst American Home Warranty works with such good service companies. I highly recommend FAHW, Air Experts and Kevin. A great Team. read more

Very frustrating experience with Air Experts. They have been to my property three times since early June for an AC condensate leak that is dripping water through the ceiling. After the most recent visit, Air Experts told me their diagnosis was that the secondary drain pan and secondary drain were not functioning properly, and that those items were not covered by American Home Shield. My concern was that this explanation did not address the underlying issue. If the primary condensate pan and primary drain are functioning properly, why is condensate reaching the secondary pan in the first place? I specifically asked whether the primary drain could be intermittently backing up during extended AC operation and whether the primary condensate pan underneath the evaporator coil had been inspected and tested for rust, cracks, holes, or leaks. After I asked those questions, Air Experts stopped responding. I called multiple times and left voicemails, but received no response. I then contacted AHS for a second opinion. AHS told me they cannot process the second-opinion request until Air Experts submits its diagnosis/report to them. AHS has now been calling and emailing Air Experts for approximately two weeks asking them to submit the report, and Air Experts has apparently not responded to AHS either. Meanwhile, the AC is still leaking water through the ceiling, and my tenant has to literally using a bucket to catch the dripping water. The ceiling also continues to be damaged by the condensation water. After three service visits, I find it extremely frustrating that the issue remains unresolved, my follow-up questions have gone unanswered, and Air Experts has not submitted its diagnosis to AHS so that I can even move forward with a second opinion. At this point, I simply want the report submitted to AHS and a proper explanation of what is causing condensate to reach the secondary pan in the first place. read more

In the middle of summer in Discovery Bay, my air conditioner decided it had had enough and went on strike - on a Friday after 4pm in 98 degree weather! I mean, I realize the summer this year has been CRAZY, but the air conditioner deciding to protest was more than I could take!!! Our house was about 90 degrees, there was no way to cool down and we were all sweating bullets- all day and allll night !!!! And because it picked the absolute "best" time to abandon me (after hours on a Friday) I wasn't able to get an appointment until Tuesday which was quick in my opinion because I called first thing Monday morning (btw- the young woman who answered was super patient and nice). Fast forward to around 7 am Tuesday morning - Joseph to the rescue! When I tell you he is HIM, trust me, Joseph is the best ever! Where do I begin- First, he was time; here, time was of the essence because the temp was set to reach 97 today! He knew what he was doing and knew what he was talking about, clearly he has done this before lol! He was extremely pleasant, knowledgeable, immediately knew what the issue, showed me the problem and provided information on upkeep to ensure we stayed comfortable and our equipment running. We are an extremely grateful and happy bunch right now:) He worked quickly and got us back up and running in no time. He did not leave a mess- an important fact, because often times techs fix stuff and leave the mess for you! He made sure I understood everything we talked about before he left. I am glad my warranty company selected them and elated we were sent Joseph. **Full disclosure, I did purchase a maintenance plan but there was absolutely no pressure to get it...I just learned a very painful lesson, and I swear, you don't have to tell me twice, THIS will not happen going forward. I will never be caught hot as H in Discovery Bay again lol! If your air conditioner decides it needs a break from working overtime in the east bay, RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN to Air Experts and ask for Joseph! I promise you will not regret it and he will get you right!!!! read more

Joe is amazing and very helpful with servicing our air conditioner during this heat wave. TYSM Joe!

Just had Chris G come to my home to check out my HVAC, he was a really cool guy. Spent time looking over everything and figured out that the fan speed needed to be increased so the system stays on. Pleasant to speak with, was respectful, kind, helpful, and gave plenty of advice for maintence/upkeep. I went thru my home warranty for this, so it was a good value to me. read more

Nirmin was my tech and was attentive to my questions. He waited a few minutes for me to love some things away from the furnace and fixed it right away! We had an issue with our HVAC system and were so lucky to have Joseph come out and take care of it! He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and friendly from start to finish. He took the time to explain what was going on, answered all of our questions, and made sure everything was working properly before he left. It's so refreshing to have someone who is honest, thorough, and genuinely cares about doing a good job. Joseph didn't just rush through the appointment--he made sure we understood the issue and felt comfortable with the repair. Our HVAC is working perfectly now, and we couldn't be happier with the service! If you need HVAC work, I highly recommend asking for Joseph. He's definitely someone you can trust! read more

DO NOT HIRE this company, they mainly do work for Home Warranty insurance companies. They are more interested in protecting the insurance company then the customer. Cancelled their first appointment at the last minute as well. I would NOT hire this company for any work, period... read more

Our AC decided to call it quits just before one of the hottest stretches we've had this summer. We survived one of the hottest days of the year without AC, powered through another hot day yesterday, and by the time Joseph came out today, he was an absolute lifesaver. He turned what could have been another miserable day into a much less stressful one. Can I just give Joseph extra points for something that probably seems so small? I'm Filipino, and we're definitely a no-shoes-in-the-house family. I had already accepted that I'd just mop the floors afterward because, hey, he was there to fix the AC. But Joseph quietly slipped on shoe covers before walking in without me saying a word. It was such a thoughtful little detail, and I genuinely appreciated it. What I appreciated most was that Joseph took the time to explain exactly what was going on with our unit in a way that was easy to understand instead of rushing through everything. He was knowledgeable, answered all of my questions, and never made me feel like he was in a hurry. Since I'm not the homeowner, I had to call the owners a couple of times before making any decisions, and Joseph was incredibly patient while I got in touch with them. I never felt pressured or rushed, which I really appreciated. He also made sure everything was working properly before he left. He didn't just fix the issue and head out--he stayed long enough to confirm the AC was actually cooling the house and that everything was operating as it should. On top of all that, he worked efficiently and was in and out much quicker than I expected. Joseph provided excellent customer service from start to finish, and it's clear he takes pride in his work. If you happen to get Joseph as your technician, you're in great hands! read more

They clean up everything, make sure everything look nice and today, even added a new foundation for my furnace because it was rotting. Chris was also a great communicator, ensuring I'm kept in the loop of all the process . The price was extremely reasonable as well. Very impressed with the service and product. I had a very disappointing experience with Air Experts. The technician who came on Friday was only here for about 10 minutes and did not properly diagnose the issue with our AC. He removed the compressor switch and told us he would return the next day (Saturday) to complete the repair. No one showed up on Saturday, and we received no updates or communication despite repeated attempts to follow up during an extreme heat wave. We were left without AC in very difficult and uncomfortable conditions. When we were finally able to reach someone, the response and urgency were not what you would expect given the situation. Overall, the service felt rushed, poorly communicated, and unreliable. I would not recommend this company based on our experience, especially in situations where timely and dependable service is critical. I truly don't know how they are still in business!!! read more

Alex was a Super Star! He came today to make an adjustment on big repair that he completed a week ago. When he completed the adjustment, I mentioned to him that we have always hated how loud the HVAC system has been since the day it was installed 10 years ago. He said that this Lennox Model had many adjustments that could be made to the new circuit board that he had installed the previous week. i had asked several of the "Technicians" (from another company) that annually came to service the HVAC System if there was a way to lower the force of the motor so that it wouldn't be sooooooooo LOUD, but was told "no, there wasn't! Well, they were WRONG!!!" Alex said he could make adjustments on the Circuit Board. My heart started to beat faster. I waited while he worked on it, and to my delight, he made the adjustment, and even my "Impossible to please or impress husband" said that this was a huge improvement! I was close to tears when I heard this Grouchy Old Man agree that it was a big improvement! read more

I am beyond disappointed. we had a prepaid scheduled appointment between 10-2, you closed the ticket, then I called, you reissued the window to 12-4. I had to email you because I still hadn't heard from anyone at 3:50, tech calls with an attitude and he will be here at 4:45. How is this acceptable? I wasted my entire day for a service that I paid for, this is unprofessional and unacceptable. read more

My AC did not start, it's 98 degrees outside and the forecast for next day does not signs of relief. I reached out to Air Experts and Kevin was assigned. He was on time, friendly and very knowledgeable. He detected the fault in less than 10 minutes and waited to make sure that it continues to work. I appreciate him a lot and would recommend Air Experts. It did not cost much either!! read more

Air Experts technician came out to my property to fix my AC (they were dospatched by my home insurance company). There was water leaking from the evaporator. According to his report, the tech drained a pipe to fix it all. He also mentioned he checked out the system and all was working. Technician was there for literally few mins. 2 hours later the system is leaking more water and is making lots of noises. By the time I called them back to see if they can come back and resolve the problem they were closed for the day, and that was on a Friday where it was already a hot week and had to spend the weekend without a working AC. Called them back on Monday to see if they can come back and refix what they"fixed", and was told simply the soonest next appt was going to be on Thursday. No exceptions whatsoever. Not even a Sorry, as if I was speaking to a wall. So, basically I have to wait another 3 days in the heat (almost a week at this point), not really knowing if they're really going to fix or not. I had to find someone else to come out and take a look at it. Technician mentioned that the Air Experts tech didn't need to drain the pipe where the pump was not functioning and few more things weren't even looked at. My new technician fixed all right there and then. I had to pay out of pocket since I had to find them myself and not thru my insurance. Stay away from Air Experts, they are unreliable, not trustworthy and have the worst customer service. read more
