A good choice for young families but not good for couples oradults looking for a beach getaway. The open floor plan living room and dining area are a rustic aplayroom filled with second-hand furniture, kind of like a college dorm. Kitchenis clean and usable. The two bedrooms are a cramped maze of furniture, but thebeds are comfortable. There is actually only one bathroom in the house. The "Half Bathroom" is outside in the laundry shed with a toilet only, behind a curtain, and no sink. Summer visitors need to know that there is no airconditioning, just lots and lots of fans. The TV and internet work well, but thestereo system is not functional. Convenient location near the beach and Carlsbad Village. read more

This is a beautiful home in the Hollywood Dell neighborhood. Our host was very responsive. We did not realize at first that there were UV blinds installed on the expansive deck. Our host gave us instructions on how to operate the blinds from the remote control, and this helped to cool the top floor on an unseasonably hot weekend in LA. Due to my family wanting to extend our stay in Tahoe - we booked this beautiful house on the same day we checked in. The house was big, spotless and beautiful.. Besides the house being super clean, in a quiet neighborhood, having great views, stocked with all the amenities that we needed, clean hot tub, beautiful and relaxing deck and only an easy 5 min drive to the main drag with restaurants and shopping - what also impressed me was the service from Air Concierge.. Air Concierge was able to make our very last minute vacation a reality.. I believe I clicked the "book now" button sometime after noon and they were able to make sure the residence was clean, fully stocked and ready for my family to use within a couple of hours.. They were very responsive, understanding and helpful ... I will definitely stay in this house again and would recommend "Air Concierge" to anyone that has an AirBnb... Used AirConcierge as my property manager for 2 years. Would not recommend. They have a lot of hidden fees, and their base fee of 25% is a lot higher than their competitors. Throughout my time, it was difficult communicating with them. They didn't check-in on my property themselves, and blamed me for not informing them of changes - even though I live in another state. I expected the 25%+ (almost 30% including their hidden fees) to cover a bi-weekly check-in on the property. Looking at their reviews, they seem to provide a good experience for their guests, but not for their property owners. Stay away if you're a homeowner. read more

Location in Venice was perfect! Home was beautiful and immaculate! Our family of five loved our stay. We used the two bedroom in the main house and my son and his significant other used the ADU in the back so everyone was able to have some privacy as well as plenty of family time. Easy walk to Venice Beach and Abbot Kinney for brunches, dinner, shopping, nails, etc. My husband was in heaven because of the In N Out within walking distance as well. The Ravenna Trailside Retreat is a beautiful spot less condo! Truly one of the nicest ones we have stayed in. Efficient layout with one bedroom/bath on bottom floor and one on top floor with the living room/kitchen in between. Notable features are the large number of spices and well stocked kitchen with appliances, the gorgeous bathrooms and the proximity to UW, accessible via a swift walk on the Burke-Gilman trail. For being so close to the university the location is actually very quiet and peaceful. We visited for admitted Huskies day and loved the proximity to the university and the U-Village with its many shops and restaurants!! We highly recommend this place for anyone traveling for leisure or business!! read more

We stayed at this cozy cottage for a few days and it was such a wonderful stay! We got in on Wednesday evening and had something to do right away! There was time to catch OB's Farmers Market before it closed as well as stop by the beach. Everything was close by, beach in walking distance! It was nice to have some beach chairs and towels to take up to the beach every day. The space itself fit the 5 of us perfectly. Our evenings were spent on the patio for the most part, it was a good little space for us to wind down for the night. The kitchen amenities, utensils and pots/pans made making meals for our stay a breeze. Surrounding area was quiet and peaceful! The hosts were VERY communicative from the get-go which I appreciated. I am happy that we went with this property after searching through for the perfect spot for us. Hope to be back soon! read more

House was clean, big and Beautiful! We had an issue with the Roku on the TV, and they responded quickly with no issues... The location was remote, yet less than a mile to all the great restaurants and grocery store less than a mile away in Kings Beach. We even got to experience to 1st snow fall of the season !
