Wow, I feel honoured to be the first person to review the stellar Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge in the Heathrow Airport! Call it a civic pride, but I am always so impressed with the service, quality and style of the Air Canada lounges found worldwide. While this one is quite small, it serves up a big punch - especially with the food! With open buffet style that rotates round the clock, that is full of tasty, healthy and global food options, they also have a full hot food menu that you can order from! But I think my absolute fave part was the "extras", the condiments like gourmet peanut butter (both smooth and chunky, chocolate spread, 4 different flavours of smoothies, and then all these wonderful home-made snacks. Yum, yum! The lounge is located in terminal 2 and they have access for you to showers (though I just popped in for a breakie so I didn't see them). All in all, well done Maple Leaf & Star Alliance; making Canada proud in the UK!

Made to order pancakes and waffle with fresh fruit toppings. Yum. Smoothie was also delicious, and tasted very fresh.

It's fine for an Air Canada lounge, but the United Club just a few minutes away is so much better. It was empty when I was here in the morning, as most people flying United (which has most of the morning departures) just use the United Club by default. There's a decent buffet selection for breakfast, but nothing too amazing. The made to order pancakes and waffles are a really nice touch, as are the freshly made smoothies. There is a full bar, that is manned. If you do wander into here, it's a nice lounge. Certainly far better than the Singapore lounge right across.

After our negative experience with British Airways customer service, my friend and I spent a couple…read morehours shopping in the terminal then headed to No. 1 Lounge since it was the one closest to where we happened to be in the terminal. The line was out the door with a 30 minute wait (and frankly not my favorite lounge, see my separate review of that one), and thankfully they told us to head to My Lounge which had more availability. They are both run by the same company, with My Lounge being recently remodeled and reopened (previously Club Aspire) in the past few months. Walking into the lounge it's decorated with a cozy vibe, think textured brick walls, warm jewel tone tweed textures on the furniture with medium wood accents in the floor and bookshelves, reminiscent of a modern family room. Seating inside looks roughly enough for about 100 people, at mostly lounge chairs and couches. There's decent spacing so that it doesn't feel too crowded. Check-in counter is immediately inside the entrance, at around 10:30am it wasn't too crowded, we were able to enter right away. Later on when we left around 1pm there was a short wait of about 10-15 minutes. Directly to the right of the check-in, there's a small, more private lounge room with seating for about 8-10 which is where we parked ourselves. Walking left past the check-in counter the space opens up to a bar serving liquor and cocktails, and a food bar along the wall. They had breakfast food set out, including yogurt, smoothies, granola and cereal, cut fruit, bread and mini pastries, and warm food including all the elements of a traditional English breakfast including scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, baked beans, toast, roasted tomatoes, roasted potatoes. There was also a pancake station which I've seen at a couple other Europe lounges, and you can basically pour your own batter and it goes through a mini oven and pops out cooked on the other side. Around noon they also set out lunch food though we didn't end up eating much of that. Free WiFi is available and strong. There are screens scattered around the lounge with airline info though similar to other lounges no announcements are made, so you have to keep track of your own boarding time. Bathrooms are in decent shape. Normal hours are 5:00am to 10:00pm. Not a bad place to spend a few hours, would def stop by again if I lay over at Heathrow Terminal 3! It was a quick in and out visit, but I enjoyed everything I tried! They didn't have options when I was there so much to take food with, but I filled up! They were friendly and accommodating of my need to use the bathroom and come back. Recommend!

Huge space, nicely maintained, excellent service, lots of charge ports, and a good food and drink selection. Highly recommend. I was impressed. My only complaint? No sit down bar area. This lounge has the space as in a huge area, the relaxed vibe, the very comfortable chairs and sofas to make this the perfect stop and break when taking that 15-20 hour flight to Asia with the one stop in London. Well this stop is the best. The team here is outstanding. They have a greeter 30 feet outside the entrance. There have always been 3 staff members at the check in which is in seconds. Love the selection and top shelf beverage and wine variety. Really love the ice cream cart. Get a genuine and full English breakfast here. The handy QR codes make it so easy and convenient to order and instantly receive food, drinks and amenities right at one's seat. Enjoy the ultimate shopping experience as you jump on the " Reserve and Collect" computers to reserve and shop from any store or boutique at the airport. All this while checking out the sun teasing with a ten second appearance and the planes entering and exiting the gates a few hundred feet away The team here keeps the buffet stocked and picks up used plates in a jiffy. The sad part is leaving after settling into that beautiful LazyBoy armchair and hopping on the sometimes crowded elevator( excuse me lift) as the escalators going down are temporarily out. First Class all the way.
