    Plane stranded at Hartford where passengers were left stranded with no way of getting home.  The staff handled this situation poorly.

    This is hands down the worst airline. Overpriced, dirty planes, and lazy staff. My flight headed home was delayed because the staff spotted an issue with the tire AFTER the plane had already boarded. They forced everyone off the plane, which resulted in a significant delay. The flight was then diverted to Hartford, CT, which is nowhere near where we were supposed to land. The staff couldn't have cared less that we were left stranded. I was forced to pay a significant amount of money just to get home, and therefore I submitted a reimbursement claim. The airline denied the claim, erroneously contending that the flight had been cancelled because staff had to work longer than usual. In reality, the flight was cancelled because the staff negligently failed to inspect the plane before passengers had boarded. Air Canada went bankrupt before-- and with the abysmal service they provide to customers, I wouldn't be surprised if they file again. Do not fly this airline-- you will regret it.

    Booked a United Flight and Air Canada came up as a Codeshare upon arrival to YOW. Flew on an CRJ 100 plane which was configured in a 2+2 All Economy cabin with a motorized door w/ stairs. There was one Quebecois flight attendant that was definitely much more senior upon closer examination. Service was okay for the ~53 minutes of flying time. The leather cushions were pretty worn out...and there was no entertainment on board...

    Extremely delayed flight from YYZ (Toronto Pearson Airport) to LGA (NYC LaGuardia Airport) due to so-called "maintenance issues" of the aircraft. The standard duration is 1.5 hours which turned into a big nightmare of five (5) long haul hours. Why load a plane full of passengers and cargo to learn there is a problem with the aircraft? Did the aircraft pass an maintenance inspection before departure? Why perform a last minute maintenance check before departure? Why did it take so long for YYZ ground crew to arrive at our aircraft site to verify and fix the problem? Why were there no aircraft engineers employed by YYZ airport available? Upon checking the departure boards at YYZ airport the flight status stated "on time" which is bogus as it was never changed to "very delayed." Being stuck inside a Airbus A319 for five hours glaring into a small window at YYZ airport terminals is not fun to pass a day. Why not change planes already? Airbus A319-100 (M) - 1st plane scheduled departure 2:45 pm Airbus A320-200 (M-1) - 2nd plane actual departure time 8 pm All the flight attendants expressed empathy as they were trying to ease the situation by offering free head phones (normally head phones is CAN $3), pretzels, water, and the pilots turn on the TV entertainment system. Several flight attendants took the time to explained our ongoing question: "can we change planes?" It is procedure for airport ground crew to fix or replace the maintenance issue first and then if the issue(s) cannot be repaired another plane will be issued. At 7 pm we were instructed to discharge the faulty Airbus A319-100 (M) plane and wait for instruction to change planes and change gates. We ultimately landed at LGA at 9:33 pm which was an all day event. The charge for one check-in baggage is USD$25 paid for our outgoing flight upon purchasing our airline ticket. Our return trip from Toronto to NYC the charge varied from CAN$38.10 to CAN$31.80 because the airline boast the price higher for U.S. citizens returning to the U.S. intentionally. MONEY HUNGRY- MONEY GRUBBING! There were insufficient basic amenities as lotion, hand soap, and feminine napkins.

    Definitely the worst airlines that I have traveled with. They cannot manage to do any flight on time. You can see that all Air Canada flights are delayed and you can see the weather report on other photos.

    2hours later..... They said our luggage will come in next flight.

I finally check in and get on the plane, plane was gorgeous and flight attendants for most part were very hard working. Half the people on this flight were idiots, loud, arrogant, dirty and bathrooms even after a couple hours in flight were dirty, urine on the floor, clogged up sinks. Absolutely disgusting!!!! Like a fourth world country on a top of the line plane. I will never ever fly Royal Jordanian again!!!! Would rather pay twice as much and get to Amman in 3 days then fly this airline. No passenger intentionally pays extra for a middle seat arrangement, so the seating presentation felt misleading and frustrating from the start. **My assigned seat, 6K, was also extremely uncomfortable and appeared to have little to no cushioning. I had to use multiple pillows and blankets simply to avoid significant back pain during the flight. For a premium international travel experience, this was unacceptable. **The customer service process prior to departure added even more frustration. I initially contacted the Detroit office seeking basic information regarding the aircraft and flight details. I was then redirected to a Chicago number, where the representative informed me they could not assist and transferred me elsewhere -- eventually leading me back to the original Detroit office. Only after several unnecessary calls did someone finally provide the information I had requested from the beginning. **To be fair, the aircraft itself was modern, clean, and visually impressive. Most of the flight attendants were professional, courteous, and clearly worked hard throughout the journey. However, the onboard environment quickly became unpleasant due to several loud and inconsiderate passengers, while the lavatories deteriorated rapidly. Within only a few hours, sinks were clogged and restroom floors were unclean, significantly reducing overall comfort. **Overall, this was one of the most frustrating airline experiences I have encountered. While the modern aircraft and hardworking cabin crew deserve recognition, the misleading seating information, poor customer service coordination, uncomfortable seating, and declining cabin conditions overshadowed the positives. Based on this experience, I would not choose Royal Jordanian again in the future.

    FATTIES AND WOKE LISTEN UP…read more This is my second time flying Spirit and my first time flying it out of LGA. My first time years ago out of EWR was solid and I'm happy to report that they've only improved. Spirit is known for the nickel and dime bait and switch but reading is fundamental and they've seemingly abandoned their most pernicious policies. READ ON to learn how to get the most value of of this airline: They have a product called Spirit First which includes The Big Front Seat. It's the equivalent of a first class domestic seat on legacy airlines. Comes with unlimited free snacks, beverages, and alcohol. The seats are wide and pre-reclined. BUT WAIT - purchase of this experience also comes with a personal item, a carryon, AND one free checked bag. Gone are the days when Spirit would financially ruin you for having a bag that was 1/2 inch too long. I even have a specially sized Spirit duffel from yesteryear that was compliant with their old "underseat" baggage rules. Let it go - we don't need it anymore. They've normalized lol. Anyway no one sits in the BFS because Spirit flights are so cheap in economy class. The flight I took to Chicago would have been under $100 if I stuck to economy. However as I'm fat and value not getting DVT as I cross over the Great Lakes, I sprung for the full GFE. Listen to me: this same itinerary on domestic first class Delta would have cost me $805. On Spirit it was $337. Be cute if you want but there's nothing cuter than saving $500. In LGA, Spirit leaves out of Art deco Terminal A. When we pulled up I actually thought I was in the wrong place - I always thought Terminal A was for decoration lol. But it's the dedicated Spirit terminal. I got from my car to seated by the gate in 5 minutes. FIVE MINUTES. Bag drop was a breeze, security was done in an instant, and the gates are 100 paces from security. All of the airport staff and airline employees were super nice. On board the great experience continued. Fat and Woke Stuff: Traveling as a fat flier is so nerve wracking. Small seats, mean passengers, inaccessible everything. However the Big Front Seats restore dignity to the process. Be advised if you may need a seatbelt extender, don't book rows 1 and 3 of the BFS as those have inflatable belts. Spirit has a detailed webpage that explains this so PLEASE READ it before selecting your seats. Spirit had a bad rap in years past because of its money grubbing tactics. I think it maintains one because of how it has democratized cheaper travel esp on shorter routes - and people don't like those that they think do not "deserve" to move about the country or world freely. Let me speak plainly: Too dark and too poor. Notice how whenever there's footage of an in-flight fight or disturbance posted online people are like "MUST BE SPIRIT!" Whole time it's a flight somewhere in western Europe smh. My flight crew was mostly Black and Brown and returning to EWR on the way back, many of the passengers were as well. I dunno about you but being with my people makes me feel safe, seen, and cared for. This airline is an incredible value. The planes are new, staff is friendly, and the BFS rival any of the bigger players in domestic first class. The Spirit infrastructure is much improved too. There were tons of employees by the kiosks ready to assist and the app is simple to use. I will not hesitate to use Spirit First again for my trips to Chicago. Economy class, however, can go to hell. Ain't no way that little bit of seat pitch is safe.

This past trip, another passenger asked me to switch my aisle seat which costs more mi why so her 3 year old could sit there. Although I hate any other seat, let alone the middle seat, I reluctantly agreed. Then one of the flight attendants saw me heading toward her to use the bathroom and apologized and said she told the family that they should just have the father sit in the middle seat and the child with the mother and other children in their row of seats (which I didn't even think of). She asked them not to bother me, but selfishly, they did despite the flight attendant pointing out that I paid more to have that seat. All and all, since she could not change what transpired, she did give me some complimentary snacks and apologized perfectly for not getting to rescue me from the situation as I sat. It made me feel better about being had by the selfish parents.

Unfortunately someone always stashes that piece of garbage and I'm usually the one who finds it. LOL. They do a great job of preparing flights from customer to customer. The attendants are always very friendly, courteous and professional. A great group of very talented and committed individuals. They should all be very proud of themselves. The seating is always comfortable and there is always enough legroom. (I'm 5'11"). The video screens are a good size and there is always enough entertainment choices. I'll give the snacks an ok. Nothing spectacular but OK. I definitely miss the blue chips. Their free hi speed WiFi is a definite plus. Easy to connect and use. I don't mind flying, really I don't. When I do, I find Jetblue does a great job. I'm not always thrilled about be put into a tube and shot across the country sitting for 3-6 hours but when I do, Jet Blue is the way to go.

It was supposed to have an Even More Space seat, which JetBlue cancelled the seat the day of the flight. Although it's a perk only associated with the member who travels, I was shocked JetBlue moved everyone around, including an elderly lady who had purchased the ticket on her own, and was crying because she had a cane and wanted to be near the front. They did not reimburse me, and instead put me way in the back in an aisle. The flight I paid for was even more expensive than my original flight. I will try to avoid JetBlue and flying with a Mosaic member, as you are held hostage to the ticket, with no way of making changes. It was terrible customer service as they did nothing to accommodate the last-minute change.

They handled our pickup from LGA to our Midtown hotel and later our return trip back to the airport, and both rides were flawless. This was truly 5-star service and one part of the trip I didn't have to worry about at all. The vehicles were clean and comfortable, communication was clear, and everything ran exactly on time. It was worth every penny compared to mass transit or other ride services. What really set them apart was their customer service. When we were dropped off at the airport, my son accidentally left his phone in the car. Umar went out of his way to drive all the way back around and personally return the phone to us--no hesitation, no attitude, just genuine care and professionalism.
