I just went into contract to buy a home in Boulder Creek. While walking down the quaint main street I came across this wonderful crystal shop. They have so many beautiful pieces in there. I could have shopped for days. The young lady who helped me was very knowledgeable about her crystals and guided me to this beautiful citrine crystal cluster. This spot was voted number 1 jewelry store and I can absolutely see why. The first time I stumbled on this gem of a store Susan helped direct me to their jewelry selection and assisted me in picking out some beautiful pieces including my meteorite and moldavite ring. It was such a positive experience in a charming location when selecting a new piece I knew I wanted to come back. Again I was not disappointed, with this unique Shungite and Herkimer diamond piece. Love this place! It felt so comfortable, warm and inviting once you walked in. I had an amazing person helping me Melinda. I had ordered items online for pick up. Everything was ready for me. I was surprised how easy it was and how quick it was ready. Their website was very easy to use But I suggest you come in to shop because there is so many things they do not have on their website that are worth looking at. I ended up also getting a aromatherapy necklace with Douglasfir incense. I've been vacationing in Boulder Creek with my family for the past decade and have never been able to walk downtown Boulder Creek until recently. Inspired by my discovery of Green Witch practices and hoping to find some healing crystals to help with anxieties, I happened to be whisked into this store... We were greeted in and told to ask for assistance if needed. I was able to look to my heart's content without being bothered, allowed to feel everything out. I'm always wary when I visit these sort of spiritual stores/places if only because I'm afraid of what vibes and energies I might encounter. Here, I was met only with curiosity and the more I browsed, the more I started finding what I was looking for! The ambiance here is mystical, mysterious even; there's sooo much to look at and admire. What caught my eye, though, was a stand of necklaces. I picked out a jasper (bloodstone) with my general knowledge of it being a "security" stone and it's properties of being a protective talisman. I also chose a nugget of fancy jasper to carry in my pocket when in need of strength and to ward off negative vibes. Being shy, I didn't ask about "grounding stones" until I approached the counter. The little tidbit of knowledge Kathy gave me made me ecstatic; not only did I learn more about my jasper, but I learned how to "cleanse" my crystals at home and the easiest way to practice my craft with them. When my purchase was rung up, my necklace and pocket gem were cleansed with a healing mist before handed to me. Since I had also let her know that I had been feeling "off" and "scatterbrained" as of late (which was why I had needed the crystals), she kindly offered to spray me! - a spritz at the base of my skull, two over my shoulders and one for each of my boot soles - and, just *wow*... I recommend their selection of aromatherapy mists. The scent was earthy, yet uplifting and fresh... It stayed with me (in my necklace cord) until the weekend was through. Since visiting Air and Fire, I've felt more "centered" and, the next time we return to Boulder Creek, I'll have to make another visit! Thanks for a wonderful encounter! read more

My friend and I ritually search out different crystal stores to visit. We currently live in Modesto and decided to take a trip to the beach to meet with my cousin who lives in Boulder creek. My cousin raves about the crystal shop near her house so of course we had to make a stop. When we entered the store the woman did not greet us at all.. which ok fine maybe she was busy. Mind you there was no one else inside the store besides the four of us. Once we all started to become engulfed in the stores wonders the woman began to hover over us all if we were doing something wrong while still not offering any customer service.. she eventually offered us some baskets which we appreciated, but still hovered over us like we were children. In a crystal shop you want to touch the crystals and feel there presence, but it seemed when doing that we were being judged. I felt as if she was paranoid we were stealing, which I understand maybe happens with other people, but we were really just trying to shop. Overall ZERO customer service and her energy was so horrible when she offered to cleanse my crystals I immediately declined. If you're sensitive to others energy do not go to this shop it's not worth it. The lady was all over us, but when my friend asked a simple question she snapped on my friend and my friend ended up not buying anything because the lady was so rude. It's a shame because they do have some very unique and nice pieces but no crystal is worth being treated like trash over. Also not sure how you can be surrounded by crystals and still have so much hate and contempt in your heart... Some of the pros is the prices of most crystals is decent and they have each crystal labeled with a description of healing properties. We ended up going to Boulder Creek Antiques down the street and they had a small variety of crystals plus amazing customer service!! They actually thanked us for making the two hour drive down and coming to their shop. Very kind hearted and sweet people in there. read more

What a lovely store! I had an immediate good sense about this shop as soon as I pulled up and parked right out side. I like the light, bright and airy atmosphere and how there is so many interesting items to choose from. I was greeted with kindness and respect by Kathy the moment I stepped in! It doesn't give off any "dark" feelings. Air and Fire shall be my go-to place when I need candles, incense, soaps and advice. I felt so comfortable, could speak freely and ask as many questions with out being judged. Kathy was a delight to talk to and such a tremendous help to me. I walked in here needing a new Pentagram- my girl had fallen off. I did a little spell before hand the day before, and well kept running into this place on Yelp and google searches. The one that helped me, I believe it was Kathy? She was helpful, informative and very knowledgable about witchcraft, and I am always open to new ideas and works as a witch of 5+ years. I ended up walking out with a little bit pricey bill BUT! WELL WORTH IT! I have now a Triple Goddess pentagram with a moonstone in the middle. Other than that, they have a GREAT selection of stuff like wands, books, pendulums, etc. Cant wait to revisit them :D I will be a frequent at this store when it comes down to it. This place was A-okay. We've been vacationing up in Boulder Creek for many years and never noticed this business. We did this time. The owner was sorta standoffish, I thought, and not overly friendly but warmed up as we were there. She wanted to talk a lot about herself and wasn't really too interested in who we were and/or why we were there in her unique, interesting shop. There were a lot of cool pieces in there and a lot of, well, junky stuff, too. We bought a bunch of items to support a very alternative business and we will definitely return. read more

It occurred to me that I never reviewed this store. There is one thing besides the very beautiful owner that stands out about this store. The soaps. The owner makes her own soaps. She makes them in alignment with timing of the planetary alignments as well as the earths cycles and their manifestations in the redwoods around her. If you believe in magic, then her soaps might be for you. Two soaps in particular that she makes which I am certain I have experienced results with. I don't know if its the aroma or just her energy that she puts into it ( I think its her energy). The first soap is called witchy and I swear, that people are just entranced by me when I use that soap. Its like they come out of the woodwork to be mesmerized by you when you use it. I know this sounds wild but I think the witchy soap is her gift. I also love the happy soap. I save it for when I need a little joy. I have not found many other things in the store that really call to me but she answers questions with patience and she is quite bewitching. (Its only fair to say this review is might be partly biased because I was just at her birthday party despite not even knowing her all that well but I only went to her party because she is really a very sincere person who you would gladly go to a party that she invited you to.) Oh but this part is not biased. She is very knowledgeable about crystals, planetary alignments (has even corrected me) and many things pertaining to the pagan practices. She has children so if you have children I am thinking she may be someone to talk to in regards to any witchy needs you might have in regards to child rearing. read more

I love the jewlery selection. I bought this phenomonal piece that was artisan local crafted, beautiful stone work. They have a great array of spiritual books, incense, lotions, candles, all the things to bring out the inner goddess. The owner is very friendly and helpful and she has a sweet dog too. I really wanted to like this shop, I really did. But I didn't. The aura is very strange, a combination of "Airy Faery Newage" and "Trying Unsuccessfully to be Goth". The staff on any given day is either completely paranoid, (WHY DO YOU WANT A FLYER OF OUR CLASSES? YOU CAN'T HAVE ONE!) or so talkative about their personal life and tedious views on politics that you can't get a word in edgewise - one particular person won't even shut up as you walk out the door and follows you for a few feet! (Seriously!) As to the items in stock, if you go to the oils section you will get a lecture about the dwindling resources of sandalwood and how you shouldn't buy it. The "Feri/Faery" art is so disturbing I won't bring my kids in here. The jewelry selection is decent, but not a lot in the way everyday occult supplies the magical practitioner would need or hope for. The soaps are nice and well-made, but since they don't maintain their store mailing list, nor do they update their events page ordering through the store's website might be a bad idea too. I view this shop as a draw for the uninitiated and the uninformed, and I hate to say so, but sadly, it's true. read more

I love this place with all my heart. I have been going to this store since I was a girl but have only just made a yelp account. the first thing I am doing with my account is write this review! I read the other reviews and saw one that really marked this place wrong, it was written by Thaddeus G. and he got the wrong impression. (goth?! seriously?) You really have to get into the energy of this place and it really isn't hard to do that. I love their sprays! especially Spiritual Cleanser. I also love the soaps, Witchy is my favorite of the soaps. and the CANDLES! I love the candles! I think the owner makes the candles and blesses them with the energy of the elements. I really love all the products there. oh! one can not forget about the paintings here! such amazing paintings! they are indescribable. This shop has wonderful energy and an extremely informative and positive staff and owner. I have been frequenting this shop for about 8 years and have never walked away disappointed. I have been bringing my daughters with me since they were in 3rd and 4th grade and now we cant even drive through boulder creek without one of them asking if we can stop in and say hi to and see what new soaps and goodies the owner has cooked up! Great store, great original home and local crafted products and art! I have no idea what the one bad review this shop got on yelp was really about but can only conclude having personal experience with the pagan community in the San Lorenzo Valley that this person must have a personal vendetta or agenda of their own that would benefit bad mouthing the staff and botique.
