Wish there was an option for zero stars! Called and spoke with an UNINFORMED and RUDE person that answered the phone at 11 am on Oct. 7th. Told her exactly what procedures my husband needs to have done and mentioned he has been examined by other drs. She kept saying she wasn't a doctor and couldn't give me the answer if those procedures were done at Aim Dental - also that a dr. would have to do an examination first. I REPEATED I just want to know if particular procedures were even done at Aim Dental. She repeated many times she didn't know. I asked a few times to speak to someone else who could just answer the question. Rather than give the phone to an informed employee, she HUNG UP!!! This was the worst customer service I have ever received!!! Why does Aim Dental have someone answer phone calls that is totally unprofessional and can't answer a simple question?!!!! read more

If I could have given zero I would have; if near runaway don't walk. Dentures did not fit caused hyperplasia an awful syndrome that they implied I was making up, till I went to the specialist at Brigham & Women's they sent me to ... and even then they disagreed with the specialist "they sent me to" an esteemed dentist, Phd, oral pathologist and medical doctor. They attempted to re-line the dentures, I ended up in the ER (documented) for chemical burns in my mouth and spent a week using lidocaine mouthwash. Asked then demanded a return of my money for unuseable dental appliances, was told they provided me great care (over $3k of product that was unuseable) and that they would not try to fulfill the agreement. In essence we will keep your money now go away. I have spent an additional $4800 to have teeth, but yesterday was the final straw the fillings (which were not) completely fell apart it will cost me an additional $3 to $5k to fix the remaining natural teeth I have in my mouth that they have destroyed. I am not litigious person I reached out to resolved this and was rebuffed in no uncertain terms, but I have no choice but to finally proceed with legal process as a disabled senior I cannot afford an additional $10k to fix the mess they have created and yet kept my money. What will be more disturbing will be their defense I am sure rather than the resolve, standard difficult patient yes admittedly I had the nerve to expect after spend thousands of dollars to one receive the top notch product they assured and to have a product so important to quality of life to fix without causing additional health issues that have been documented by 2 periodontists, 3 physicians, a maxillofacial surgeon, 2 dentists, 2 oral pathologists and the specialist they sent me to. Regretfully, I must say run do not walk away from this provider and their satellite office in Maynard, MA Nexus Dental. Or like me you will probably end up in a courtroom trying to get back the funds they have taken from you and the funds they have cost you despite initially just asking for the funds they have decided to keep for sub-standard product and services. By the way all of this is documented in actual medical documentation as well as contemporaneous notes. read more

The only reason I am rating with 2 stars (instead of 1) is because the hygienist who worked on me was pleasant. That being said... I called two days ago because I have a filling that fell out (that AIM put in just two years ago) and am left with a hole in my tooth... it is annoying, and painful, and food keeps getting stuck in it (I know, gross). When I got into the chair today, the hygienist asked if I wanted to do 1, 2 or 3 quadrant deep cleanings. I was confused... I told her I was there for a hole in my tooth from a filling that fell out (I repeated this several times over the course of the time I was there). She assured me that would also be taken care of, but that I signed a treatment plan (2+ years ago) to have my teeth scraped. I told her we could do some of that, but confirmed that my tooth would also be filled. She assured me it would be. IT WASN'T. and then the "manager" at the front desk argued with me - telling me that I called to book an appointment for my treatment plan, and she knows because she is the one who answered the phone and made my appointment. She is wrong. I called purely for the hole in my tooth. $423 later, still a hole in my tooth... and they have not a single convenient appointment. They were not very apologetic to their mistake.. which only leads me to believe it was done intentionally to make more money than a lousy filling would have given them. I also never received an itemized receipt of what exactly cost me $423. NOT HAPPY. read more

Dr. Moon was a great dentist- but the turn over at this place (AimDental) was insane. He had left before I could have an extraction done, so my case was given to a younger newer dentist. He tried to extract the tooth but could NOT COMPLETE my extraction. He then told me to go to the front office and get the name of some guru dentist in Northborough that could finish the job. Can you imagine having a tooth HALF EXTRACTED and then having to call and book an appointment with another dentist far away and having no clue how your going to get there? In pain, nauseous from the anesthesia, and confused, I luckily made it to the appointment in Northborough and had my tooth extracted by this great old wise man dentist. I have not had any other dental work done since this due to the trauma I endured. I fear the dentist now. DO NOT GO TO THIS CHOP SHOP!!!! read more

STAY AWAY! Regularly sell unsuspecting patients things they DO NOT need, fluoride treatments to every patient in the chair (open walls, it's easy to hear what's going on), fluoride toothpaste etc. I had a filling done here, and mentioned to them that it's been bothering me ever since when I floss. The first response was "the other dentist (who also works there) did the work so I would need to make a separate appointment". Huge RED FLAG. The second time I asked about it they told me it was the floss I use. If patients are in pain, you should take every step to ensure the problem is resolved. At my last cleaning, they told me I had 8 new cavities, didn't clean my teeth because my "enamel was peeling off", and tried to pressure me to book appointments to get fillings done. The very next morning I was on the phone with a dentist near work (Nationally recognized/awarded dentist) and they got me in right away for a 2nd opinion. I had 1 small cavity (not 8), my enamel was NOT peeling. This new office also told me that all but one filling that I had done at AIM did not need to be done. My insurance company told me what AIM Dental had done (squirt water in my mouth and floss my teeth) is NOT a cleaning (no polishing or scraping) and they will need to investigate any claim AIM Dental makes for the services performed. Read the reviews for this place and Nexus Dental in Maynard (same people), they don't do good work. If you have dental insurance and care about your teeth PLEASE go somewhere else. read more

Aim is really a great dentist office! They have always been very accommodating with scheduling. The front desk people are very nice and the hygienists and doctors are all really nice. I have had to schedule a few emergency visits and they have always come through. I would've given them five stars but if you don't have full coverage they are a little on the expensive side and for that I took away one star. They still are great for cleanings and fillings and repairs which most insurance covers in full. They equipment is pretty high tech and they seem to have all the new technology.. I would recommend them to family and friends. read more

We can't say enough great things about Dr. Maheen Ishaq and staff at AIM Dental. They have been our dentists since establishing the practice and have taken care of me during a very precarious period of health challenges, and they have always wanted to coordinate care especially with things such as excess radiation. I had always gone to the same dentist, ever since I had teeth. After moving to the Clinton area, I just couldn't find the time in my schedule to travel 1+hrs to remain a patient there. After a few years (yikes) of not having regular cleanings, I found Aim Dental. I was so nervous to go somewhere new, and was embarrassed that I hadn't had a cleaning in so long. I was immediately comfortable when I checked in. The front desk, the hygienists and the doctor were all wonderful. They explained everything in detail, convinced me my teeth were going to be ok after I neglected them, gave me referrals to have my wisdom teeth out, answered any questions I had. Went here a few times, was told by two dentists I had cavities and then when I went to go get them fixed the dentist told me there were no cavities and that there was no need to drill into my teeth. I also have two friends that have gone to them that they caused problems to, one of which had to have her tooth filled twice, the first time she went the dentist was all frantic about being behind schedule and was rushing, he kept looking away while he was drilling to look at the computer and clock. The second time she went was because she was experiencing extreme pain for weeks on the tooth that was filled, the dentist told her that the previous dentist drilled too far down to the nerve and that's why it was causing her pain, and they said they didn't know if insurance would cover "re-dos" even though they said their dentist did a poor job. She was tight on money and sick of the pain so she asked them to just pull the tooth and they refused to do it and kept trying to get her to get a root canal which would cost quite a bit of money. She ended up just calling an old dentist and he pulled the tooth that day for $100. After that happened to her I removed myself as a patient and won't go there again. read more
