This is an extremely well run dental office, and a new facility which is only a few years old. The waiting room is comfortable, even though I rarely wait more than a few minutes. The staff is friendly and professional. But one of the biggest perks of using this dental practice is their laser drilling. I've only needed work on one tooth over the last 10 years I've been using Dr. Shustak, and he performed that procedure with a laser. That meant no pain, no injection and no Novocain numbness! read more

I was happy to find this office based on reviews, I chose Dr. Shanon. the second appointment I went for a crown and she tried to tell me that my tooth there is something wrong with it, you have to pull it off and you need an implant, she immidiately suggested her husband office westboroug or northborogh now I dont rememeber. I insisted for Dr. Shustack to see me for a second opinion and then that instant she said lets wait for 10 days and see if it gets better , I went to see dr. Shustack for the second opinion and he was not even there, it was her and guess what.. My tooth was perfectly fine, her coment, oh wowww this never happened before. so guess what now I have my crown. i am sure this pissed her off that she kicked my husband off the office because of 3 non show, which for 2 of them I called in advance, and for the last one We had a family emergency and I couldn't call. that was enough for us to receive a letter home telling us that my husband was kicked out, she knew very well that I was going to leave too if the husband is kicked out. they did not send us a prior letter to let us know hey if there is another non show you no longer can be our clients. They immidieately sent the letter that he is not part of that office anymore. Despite my phone calls and emails I sent to the office nothing changed. They also made a discriminatorty decision, as my husband is a truck driver and he needs to find someone to fit his schedule. I still have the secretary voice mail. I sent an email to dr. Shustack office explaining everything and no response at all, not even a phone call from Dr. Shustack. Nothing. I have been with my prior dentist for 10 years and bnever had an issue. this was the worse experience ever and the worse dentist ever. Be aware of her. Very disapponted and very unfairly tretated, very discriminatory. read more

I was very happy with my NP exam with Dr. Shustack. He was kind, respectful and listened without passing judgement. i am new to this practice as there had been many changes to my past dental office of over 50 years, necessitating a change. Dr. Shustak's Dental Office had come highly recommended just in time. Since I am an older person (92), and had been with the same office for over 50 years, I couldn't have imagined having to find a new dentist and dental office after so many years. I couldn't have been more wrong. My recent consult with Dr. Stephanie John was extremely satisfying. She was both extremely professional and comforting at the same time. Rude and racist. I called to make an appointment and after I gave her all my info (Hint: my name I'm in hispanic). She asked "do you even have insurance??"...What would make her think I don't? I simply said yes and she literally just chuckled. Her tone and the way she said everything was just pure rude. Turns out they don't accept my insurance so I said thanks and hung up. There's no need for your receptions to be so disrespectful. Glad you don't take my INSURANCE so I don't waste my hard earned money on your business. read more

Had a great experience with Dr. Michael Shustak. I needed a root canal and was originally recommended from my normal dentist to a different place in Worcester. Upon calling them, they were outrageously priced and had no payment plan in place. So I would have been out almost 2 grand up front. While searching around and asking friends and colleagues for recommendations, Shustak came up. I called and the women in the front office were very pleasant and informative, taking me through all of my options. They sent me home payment plan information before my initial appointment. I needed the root canal on my front tooth, and I had originally thought I would also need a crown. Since the tooth was still strong and looking good, Michael took me through my options of actually not needing a crown and instead whitening the tooth from the inside after the root canal (the tooth was dead and graying). I was very impressed by the professionalism of everyone in the office, from the front office, to the multiple dental assistants I worked with and with Dr. Shustak himself. I had to go back about 4-5 times between the initial appointment, the root canal itself, and the whitening procedure and then filling. The root canal was painless and quick. The whitening worked wonders and Michael got my tooth back to the same color as my other "viable" teeth. The filling feels seamless on the back of my tooth. Overall, the root canal with the whitening and filling was much cheaper and looks much better than a root canal and crown would have been at the other place I called. Extremely happy with my experience and I am hoping to switch to them as my permanent dentist if my insurance will allow it! read more

Love Sally, she makes me feel so comfortable and treats me like family. She knows my kids, remembers past conversations and just an absolute pleasure to be around. I can't say enough about Dr. Michael Shustak... he's awesome and also knows my anxiety history and makes me feel safe and cared for. Had my first appointment with Dr. Arbor yesterday. I had recorded the time incorrectly in my calendar and so arrived a full 20 minutes late. I was not chastised, but rather treated with warmth and respect. Dr. Arbor accommodated her schedule to see me. She too was warm and caring, none of the Game of Thrones style "Shame! Shame! Shame!" That I have experienced with other dentists and hygienists. Elsa, the hygienist was thorough and explained what she was doing, Michelle, the front desk receptionist was courteous and helpful. A fantastic dentist office. I hadn't been to the dentist in several years, and I was bracing for a lot of "tsk tsk, shame shame" on my first visit--I got none of that, just some honest down-to-earth conversation about what I should be doing to make a fresh start at taking better care of my teeth. Since it was a first visit, it took almost 2 hours total. Normally, a 2 hour dentist visit is the stuff of nightmares. But from the photos to the x-rays to the exam to the cleaning (a more thorough cleaning because of the lack of previous visits), I felt like I was in good hands, and that the people cared about me. Even at check-out, when discussing my next visit, they were helpful with scheduling as well as giving an honest estimate of the cost (and explaining things about my insurance, which is definitely not something they need to do). read more
