I went here for a tooth that was crumbling and a tooth that already had a missing filling with the intention that he could fill the missing filling at the same time as he could fix the tooth that was breaking off in chunks. First: I thought it was a little weird they have you wear a blindfold for the actual sedation, but I thought it was just supposed to help the atmosphere or whatever. It would up being so you don't see the needle. The told me I would be out of it when I was being injected with any needles and wouldn't remember it because of the oral sedation, but unfortunately it's the only part I remember and I screamed because it was so painful. They should have warned me up front honestly about this, but they didn't do now I'm warning you. Secondly, I asked them to make sure to please use a stitch since we were removing a molar and I have poor wound healing. They said they would but when I woke up said they said they were unable to because my mouth was too small? What? I had my wisdom teeth out with stitches applied and there was NO issue there. Because they didn't use a stitch, I suffered a dry socket. It was painful but when I went back they didn't really even look and they were entirely dismissive. It took an additional two months to heal and the additional filling they did fell out. Because the work they did was so bad, I called them up and told them I wasn't comfortable getting my cleaning there and to cancel it and refund that portion of my bill. They tried REALLY hard to get me to reschedule but I have no intention of going back there. They refuse to refund the cleaning they didn't give me however. So basically I have no filling, took FOREVER and was super painful to heal my pulled tooth because bad technique- and no. I wouldn't recommend. read more

Dr. L shaped a veneer that should have been squared into sharp points on each side that scrape my tongue and mouth. When I scheduled a followup visit to have it fixed he said nothing was wrong and made me feel like my presence was an imposition. He overcharges significantly for this type of procedure and performed shoddy work at best. The single star is for his office staff who are wonderful. read more

Dr. Levenson is an all star! We are from FL and were staying with Family for the 4th of July when my wife popped off her veneer swimming at the lake, she was meeting a lot of my family for the first time and needed an emergency visit, ASAP. We called around several places that were unable to help us on the fly but we're glad because no one could have done a better job than Dr. Levenson, and fast too! Paying out of pocket, he didnt charge us for the temp and veneer came in less than a week and was a perfect match. She was very happy with the service in office as well. I had to write a new review. I went there 13 years ago for veneers because I had overcrowding young, before putting braces on to be able to straighten them, but I still wasn't happy because they weren't even. So for my graduation gift to myself I wanted a nice smile, and he had a bunch of recognition for his veneer work. I got them done and over the years have received s bunch of complements from other dentists since I have moved a lot. About a month ago I was horseback riding and the horse tossed it's head violently, my lower jaw smacked into my upper jaw and cracked half of my front veneer off! It was a Saturday but their emergency number, which is his cell phone is on their line so I called. I hadn't been there in years but he remembered me! And even though he was in California at a dental conference he was scheduled to fly home that night and already had a dental emergency appt the next day so scheduled me in for Sunday. Sunday he crafted a temporary tooth which my coworkers couldn't tell wasn't a real tooth (thank God, I looked like a hillbilly) and he managed to safe chips of the veneer left on my tooth for color match by the lab. Even though his office now uses a new lab for veneers he contacted the old lab to see if they had records, which they didn't, but they unfortunately recommended we do both front teeth or they can't guarantee a color match given the age of the veneers. So, as a professional courtesy he greatly discounted the second tooth even though I have insurance because he knew insurance likely wouldn't pay. Turned out the 13 year old veneers were pretty much exactly the same shade as when installed, which is pretty incredible... and when he went to remove the second tooth, the bonding was in such good shape he ended up having to drill with the same techniques used on actual bone tooth. Him and his tech were actually impressed at how well everything was together! So for high end dental work, you really can't find a better place. read more

I was referred to Dr. Levenson through a very trusted family friend. I was a few years overdue about getting three front teeth re-bonded, and was scared about having mismatched teeth. They were stained and really made a difference on how I've smiled for over 12 years. I was never comfortable with my former dentist, so when I first came to Dr. Levenson, my fingers were crossed. As soon as I walked in to my first consultation appointment, I felt at home. Janet greeted me immediately with a smile and offered me cookies!!! It was as if she knew me already, and I felt so warm inside. Dr. Levenson is very nice, approachable, very knowledgeable and has an amazing way of tuning in to my thoughts and explaining everything in a very clear and concise manner. He really cares about his patients and it shows from day one. Long story short, Dr. Levenson recently transformed my smile with porcelain veneers. I have never felt so beautiful and it is the best decision I've ever made. The office offers amazing payment plans! I live over 60 miles from Dr. Levenson's office, but I've still made him my "regular" dentist. Dr. Levenson, Kara, Janet and the WHOLE staff truly make the commute well worth it. BEWARE!!! HIDDEN CONSULTATION FEES TOTALING $95!!! I was so disappointed with this place. I went in for a consultation for an Invisalign and after the appointment I was told by the Dental Assistant to go to the front desk to get all the paperwork. As I approached the front desk the old secretary said to me" That will be $95 dollars". My jaw dropped I couldn't believe what she had said! Not only did they quote me $5,000K for Invisalign but now trying to nickel and dime me for $95 consultation fee. It wasn't necessarily about the fee it was the way they did it. The secretary took my initial appointment a few weeks ago - failed to mention the $95 fee over the phone. The doctor then called to introduce himself which I thought was great customer service but again failed to mention the $95 fee. I also checked in with the old secretary for the appointment and was in the building for 45 mins and during this entire time no one thought to mention this fee until after the appointment. When I said I would not be paying it I got attitude from the OLD lady and she made comments about how you wouldn't go see a lawyer and not pay him fees. This comment also rubbed me the wrong way - trying to justify the reasoning justify that I was crazy for being surprised/upset about a fee instead of making things better for their potential customer. I thought this was a very sneaky thing to do and it's not how people should do business. It was so sneaky that I couldn't trust what the Doctor told me in my appointment about all the work that I needed. In my eyes if they are able to be sneaky about something so small like a consultation fee what else are they being dishonest about and possibly trying to upsell me on things I don't need just for more money. I explained that I will not be paying the fee and that will be taking my business somewhere else. Just to be on the safe side I called the next office (Simply Orthodontics in Worcester) who I have a consultation with to see if theycharge a fee before I show up to the appointment to make sure there was no more hidden surprises. They do not charge a consultation fee - already winning in my book! Dr Levenson came very strongly recommended by several people, so I scheduled an appointment and went with high hopes that he'd be able to help me not just with a dental procedure but also with my fear of the dentist. There was paperwork to fill out re: what about the process makes you uncomfortable that also left me hopeful. The assistants and front desk staff were all incredibly sweet. Dr Levenson himself...seemed to be trying very hard to be nice to me, but it came off incredibly patronizing and forced. I thought, it's like he knows he needs to have a rep as a good dentist for nervous patients, but he really doesn't get that I have valid reasons to be anxious, and he thinks I'm being dumb. And he was VERY mean to his assistants. It was hard to relax with him yelling or using a tone with them like he thought they were stupid--especially when they'd been so nice to me! Three stars: The services he provided were fine. The desk staff and hygienist, etc, were super super nice and calming. I'd give them five stars on their own. I'd give him two stars, though--I just truly did not appreciate being treated like I was being dumb for being anxious, and couldn't stand the way he talked to his staff. read more

Talented and has fine reputation. In my case, his ego exceeded his skills. Very expensive work completed, and, unfortunately, after two years bridge was failure, I cannot fault him so much on this failure, as it was difficult. I can fault him on taking on a project that was doomed - this is based on input from other dentists general, (surgeon and endodontist) that seemed surprised he would attempt in the first place. Very expensive for someone in my income range. I continue to have problems - most of which stem from this work being attempted and subsequent failure. I would not recommend. As an aside ... parking is extremely difficult/tight at his office. Office staff was pleasant, helpful and accomplished. read more

This guy RUINED my teeth! He told me I needed a partial bridge, simple enough. So I let him do it INSTEAD of going to a PROSTHODONTIST who is TRAINED in this capacity! He made the bridge too short ....so numerous times, it would fall out. Over the years, I've had to have it re-glued thanks to his ineptness. Thinks he can do all; however, HE IS NOT TRAINED IN PROSTHODONTICS. IF U NEED BRIDGE WORK, see a specialist who is TRAINED! When having it re-glued over the years, ALL dentists have said what a stinky job he did....One said it looked like it was done by someone who doesn't have a CLUE! Well, that's him. IF U NEED BRIDGE WORK OR ANY SPECIALTY WORK, SEE A SPECIALIST. This guy is a GENERAL dentist...maybe good for fillings....but that's all. What a horror show. If I had the $$ I spent with him, I'd have a new bridge done over CORRECTLY. But for now, it's cheaper to keep having it re-glued when necessary. read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Levenson for many years and have always been pleased with the service provided. I am able to get early (7:30) morning appointments for cleanings which works with my schedule. He also works with me to maximize my insurance benefits and keeping my out of pocket expenses to a minimum. The best feature I like is that he will complete a partial crown in one sitting using his in-house grinding machine. I love not having temporary crowns anymore. read more

Dr. Levenson did a great job on my veeners. Prior to seeing him I had a really bad experience with another dentist who used lumineers (a form of veener that is applied over the teeth) on my teeth. The other dentist did a horrible job to the point where I did not want to smile or show my teeth. I spent alot of money and was completely unhappy with my teeth. I had such a bad experience that I was affraid to let any one fix them because I thought what if the next dentist is even worse. I did some research and sought out several dentists to give me an estimate on fixing them. Although I was nervous Dr. Levenson and his team where very patient with me and explained the entire procedure fully. Unlike the other dentist every thing they said was true. Im very happy with my smile now. If you plan on having any kind of cosmetic work done be sure you research your dentist. I was lucky I was able to get my money back from the other dentist and that I found a compotent dentist to make my smile beautiful. read more
