I was actually looking forward to having mine! Why? Because I was in a lot of pain for a few weeks BEFORE having the procedure... I wanted it to stop! After some research on the web, I chose Dr. Aboushala based on his stellar reviews and credentials... and I'm so glad I did. Firstly, Dr. Aboushala is all about doing everything he can to save your tooth... I like that. I had a very large area of infection (hence the pain) and he affirmed that a root canal would be the right procedure. He did an amazing job... absolutely no pain. I've had a few root canals before, but this doctor is in his own league. He has a wonderful caring demeanor and explains everything he is doing. He is very deliberate and checks everything along the way in an exacting manor. He takes the time to make sure that everything he is doing is perfect. As the procedure advanced, his professionalism gave me the confidence that I would have a successful outcome. And I did! I was finished with the procedure around 12n and my tooth already felt so much better that night. I could eat soft foods with no problem, and pretty much anything I wanted a couple days later. I was ecstatic! After returning to the doctor's office for a check on it, everything was in good shape, as I expected. If you need a root canal, I can't recommend Dr. Aboushala more highly. He's quite special and I'm so glad I found him. I'm thinking of moving to Florida soon, but if I need a root canal in the future I will no doubt fly back to Boston to see this amazing man who does fantastic work and genuinely cares about his patients.

They explained how the insurance worked and took all my information so there wasn't much to do when I got there. Once confirmed that I did need a root canal, Dr. Aboushala said he could do it right then and was very gentle, explaining everything along the way. One thing I was concerned about was the discomfort of having your mouth open for so long, but he kept providing frequent breaks, which really made a difference. They explained clearly post-procedure instructions and worked with me to adjust them so they were right for me. The follow-up the next day was the icing on the cake. So while no one ever wants a root canal, if you have to have one, Dr. Aboushala and his office make it as easy as possible and I highly recommend them.

The are now owned by 42 North Dental Care, PLLC practice and this company is owned and operated by dentists Dr. Samuel Shames, DMD. and Dr. Ronald Weissman, DMD. Since they took over all the former dentists are gone and last I knew most of the staff had left. They put crowns on three on implants I had done at an oral surgeons office in December 2023. Last week, 18 months later they sent me a huge bill. A week later I got an automated call asking for me to pay over $2500 right then. This is just one of the most absurd situations I have every been in with a dental office. The doctor that did the crowns, Dr Pabaney, was the worst dentist I have ever had. I only went to them because I was with the practice when I first stared the implant process. Not only was it a total nightmare just getting them to call me back to get an appointment but his chairside miner was rude, he had THE WORST BREATHE OF ANYONE I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED and he is supposedly a dentist. Even his dental assistant knew he smelled, the look on her face was a look of horror, even she couldn't take it. Since I've moved to the area there are so many other dentists office that you have to go anyplace else. I have never met a medical professional who could look a client/patient in the eyes and lie. In February i received a email saying i owed 470.00 for a CT scan. I paid in full what i was told to pay in Sept. I contacted the office and asked why the first i was hearing about this was 5 months later and the response was i owe the money. I told them i paid in full I paid 5500+ on my final visit. Today i received a call from a collection agency saying i had been delinquent since Sept. and payment was due in full. I pay my bills, excellent credit score and to be sent to a collection agency and effect my credit over there shooty billing is a place i would stay far away from. I also will be in touch with my referring dentist. I hope they enjoy the $470.00 dollars as i am hopeful this will help others not get caught in what seems to be a common sneaky pratice.

Her recovery has been good, with no complications to speak of (only two weeks in at time of writing this). So the services provided by Dr. Wardius appear to have met expectations. Unfortunately, the office experience left something to be desired. While a comfortable and soothing ambiance make for nice experience, day of, I was disappointed with poor communication with the office staff around the costs involved. After completing our consult visit and scheduling the surgery I asked for a cost estimate and was presented with expected costs, based on expected insurance coverages. Two weeks later these were updated based on an uncovered service performed at the consult (a CT scan), and I was provided what I understood to be final numbers (assuming that nothing would change during the procedure that would require additional services or coverage-wise from insurance). On the day of the procedure, everything proceeds as expected. No additional services needed or performed and payment requested matches the estimate I had been provided. Two weeks later I am now being charged for a service (the CT scan) that was supposed to have already been accounted for, as I was told that it had been, two weeks prior to the procedure. But they are telling me that I mis-read the email when they said "The balance was added to the patient account." If so, that estimate should reflect that amount. When a customer is quoted a price for promised services to be rendered, and those exact services are what is completed, then that price shouldn't change after the fact. Trying to discuss this with the office manager was the final straw as she was more interested in expediting the call, crossing it off her to-do list and getting off the phone than to honestly hear the concern and frustration that a client had with their experience. This "problem customer" as I am sure to be referenced as behind their closed doors, could have been a learning experience for the team so that they could better understand how to service their customer's needs. Instead it was so much more transactional and disappointing. I will be sure to pass this experience back to the original referring office and to find another practice for my son when he is due up in the coming years.

I felt safer here than at any other of the doctor or dentist offices I had to go to. When the temporary bridge from my dentist fell apart and he was away on vacation, Dr. Ollerhead told me to come back and he patched it up with bonding or temp cement. He did not have to do that, he is an endodontist, not a regular dentist, and I am very THANKFUL. In fact, he patched it up so well, the dentist did not have to redo the temporary (This was the second one the dentist had done because the first came off).
