Shady place of business and people .. bought 3 rand new tires and they put a used tire in place of a brand new one that doesn't hold air or come close to a safe tire .. they have zero customer service and do nothing to help out man Ziggi who told me he was the ma ager and it was his place should pay more attention to his guys who have NO qualified experience or knowledge to be around cars let alone work in them .. I was tricked by 2 people a few Sundays ago. First by the road side assistance driver who told me my spare tire was bad (Lie) and he had to tow me. Second was idiot at AIA tires he told me my brand new tire (3 months old) could not be fixed and wanted $165 plus tax for a new one. BOTH were scammers. I made him put the spare on and slowly drove it to Zima Tires on Monday. My tire was repaired and I opened an investigation with Geico. read more

I could not be more pleased with the attention and service AIA Tire provided for our college student who tore a tire in a pot hole. It's very difficult when your kids are away from home with a vehicle and have issues. They were extremely fair with their prices and very accommodating. This tire place has shown No customer service nor Distancing, no mask and didn't care if you wore any ppe, the owners son who runs this place insisted that he would not fix my flat, the puncture was nearer to the center of the tire than the side, but was insisting that I replace the tire (their cheap tires are over priced). So I plugged my own tire there, ( he saw me )then he refused to allow me to air up, insisted that I go elsewhere to get air. What a creep! Really! I still had about 20 lbs, so I went to Mavis(free air) ! After going there for years, I'm determined to let everyone I know about who they really are and what there're made of, they insist on Cash to avoid paying their share of Taxes! read more

I'm not sure why this place has such bad reviews. I've had 2 experiences with them - both 5 stars. The first was a flat on my own car. I had a shard of metal that caused it. They pulled it out and had me on my way in less than 20 minutes with a very nominal fee. The second was with my husbands car. He had a nail in a tire that couldn't be plugged because the tires were bad (the dealership told us this). When the tire went flat I called aia for a quote on new tires. The price was very reasonable and once again they had me in an out quickly. These guys are speedy, professional and affordable. Highly recommend. The owners name is Gabriel. I asked to speak with him because I wanted to let him know his guys were doing s great job despite the bad reviews. read more

I have NEVER experienced such a rude salesman over the phone. Called 3x just to get answers to my questions, he kept hanging up. Then on the 3rd call I told him how I think he was rude and not very professional, he told me to call on Tuesday and speak to owner. I asked owners name and he told me he did not know it. I asked to speak to manager and he said he is . His name was Ziggy and If I were the owner, I would NEVER leave my business to a person who does not try to get a sale. Called Firestone and had the most pleasant sales rep on the phone, made my appointment and will never think of calling Aia again. read more

Oh wow! I usually only leave reviews when they're positive because I feel like people are always quicker to "spread the word" when it's negative, but my situation at this place was INSANE! I had a slow leak that turned into a fast leak overnight, so on Sunday morning I was left looking for a tire shop when my usual place was closed. I wind up here & ask the owner (or manager- I'm not sure which, just that he was the boss) for a (used) tire, but "please make sure it's it a good 1.." So he comes out with the first 1.. I know nothing about tires but 1 glance & this thing was clearly dry rotted.. Bad. So I showed him expecting him to be horrified at his oversight.. Instead he seemed annoyed that I had the nerve to notice, & he gruffly went to exchange it for another. Literally 30 seconds later he comes out with 1 with slightly less dry rot then the last! He turns to speak to someone so I quickly show the tech actually taking my wheel off my car & even he shook his head as if to say damn I'm sorry. So I point this 1 out to the boss & hes off to get another. As he's storming off he actually says, this is the last 1! (I can't make this crap up!) So he's actually scolding me, as opposed to apologizing profusely. Now I'm already on my phone trying to find another place but I notice he's taking longer, so I start to get hopeful. I say to the tech that he must be looking for a good 1 right? & he makes a face like don't get your hopes up! Lol So he comes back & literally shoves 1 at me. No dry rot- yeah! I'll take it, I just wanna get out of here! But as the tech spins it around I notice what looks like a slice in the side wall.. When I look closer it's a 2 inch chunk in the side of the tire that you can literally put 2 fingers in & pull out! (it's attached by 1 edge. I could've ripped it completely off if I tried to.) I was shocked! I'm not nitpicking! Like if I saw this getting in to my car I would consider taking care of it asap an emergency. I showed him in disbelief, grabbing it between my 2 fingers & thumb- & he shrugs & says it's a used tire- "THAT'S a used tire." As if that's what you get for a $55 used tire, period, duh. No, obviously I've bought great (almost new) used tires & I've bought so-so (couple months left in them) used tires, but they've all been SAFE! This place is a disgrace!! As I said no thanks & was leaving I saw that there were 4 young, maybe HS or college kids waiting for a car at the other end of the lot, I made a quick comment to check the tires- not to gossip but because I was genuinely worried about their safety. Idk if the ownership has recently changed but I don't understand how this place gets by.. Anyway, don't go here!! & maybe most importantly, let the less experienced people you care about know not to go here! It was gross!! (FYI I had to get a new tire.. No choice at that time on Sunday so I wound up getting it at STS on William Floyd Pkwy.. Competitive prices & great customer service! Only reason I'm not writing them a seperate full on positive review is because when someone came in as they were closing & asked where to go- the guy sent them to this freak show place! i had a flat tire so this place installed a plug , which nobody does anymore, they patch it! i was gonna drive to my upstate ny house the next day and i chose to buy 2 new tires instead after the plug was installed. the tech at a1a couldnt get my lug nuts off that they installed the same day! this cost me 100. to get mastic wheel alignment to chisel them off!! and a1a still charged me 80.00 to mount and balance the two tires !!!!!!! crooks !!!!! stay away!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

I brought two tires from this place, both times they sold me faulty leaking tires that had to be replaced. Now, I tried to do my brakes but can't because these guys tourked the nuts so tight that my lug nut wrench can't removed it. Wrench was starting to bend. My lugs better not be damaged... read more
