i got braces put on at this place about 5 or 6 years ago and i would recommend this place to anyone in a heartbeat. the nurses are so fun, sweet, and welcoming. the whole atmosphere in the building is just very comfortable. They had this wheel you can spin to win little prizes and monthly ticket prizes for the kids. Not to forget t Dr. Issa is just the cherry on top of the place. He is the most nice and calm ortho i have met. he his hilarious and perfect for kids especially the ones who are anxious. overall this place is amazing and i recommend everyone to go. My husband and I are very satisfied with the care and treatment our two children received from Dr. Issa and his team at Ai -- and they have the smiles to prove it. Unlike other orthodontists we considered who were ready to jump right into treatment, Dr. Issa recommended a few years of "watchful waiting" (at no charge) before putting braces on them. We appreciated his conservative approach and were extremely pleased with the pace and type of treatment. He and his staff were also very sensitive to the needs of our children, treating them with care, compassion, and kindness, always being supportive and understanding when they expressed worry or concern. Dr Issa's office is by far the best! My son just got his braces off and I'm actually sad that I won't be going there every month to see Dr. Issa and his wonderful staff. Don't be distracted by all the bells and whistles. We sat through the entire dog and pony show and when it came time for insurance discussions they swept it under the carpet suggesting that "everything will be OK" and "the office insurance administrator" will handle it. When I told them that we had a specific insurance I was advised that the insurance carrier DOES NOT cover services for orthodontics; but I was assured they had a very flexible payment plan. So I went home, pulled out my plan summary document, and it showed that orthodontia is covered at 100%. No answers could be given by Kimber. About 3 weeks later I get a call to confirm the appointment for my kid and then was told that they don't participate with the provider. Um, no thanks. I will go elsewhere. My kid is still young, 2 other orthos have since evaluated her and they both have said that procedures aren't necessary until she is a bit older (like 3 years from now). I was told by this office that I needed to think about the procedure in the near future or it would be "too late". Honesty goes a long way. Be upfront about the care and when it's necessary as well as the insurance providers the office accepts. Exercise some caution. It's like they were herding sheep and trying to push you into procedures to 'lock' you in to their office. SMH. read more

I had braces as a teen. I was never happy with how my teeth looked after wearing braces for 4 yrs. and my crossbite was never properly corrected. I found that my teeth had shifted over time, and my bite felt off. I never imagined needing braces in my 50's, and I was a bit nervous about this endeavor at this point in my life. I also have a genetic connective tissue disorder called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome... so my case is quite different from the average orthodontic case. I worked for years in a Dental practice when I lived in NY. and knew how important it was to do your research to find a really good, knowledgeable Orthodontist. I went for multiple consultations, due to my Ehlers Danlos. None were as DETAILED and INFORMATIVE as Ai Orthodontics. More importantly none were familiar about EDS. I met with Dr. Issa and his staff and explained my concerns about having orthodontic treatment with EDS and at my age. Dr. Issa, and his staff made me feel so welcome, and comfortable. I was impressed by the efforts they made to learn all about my genetic disorder and to make me feel at ease. The treatment was easy and nearly pain free. I had the good blessing of having my children been seen by Dr Issa, a true diamond in the the rough. Aside from his incredible knowledge, professionalism and passion for his work, Dr Issa is a caring and compassionate doctor. It is seldom that I find a health professional who has it all together in one package, if you will, including the time to dedicate to personalization. I spend a lot of time with medical professionals because of a rare medical condition my children face; experience has taught me in the hardest way to be extremely detail oriented when it comes to healthcare because the life of my children depends on things being done right the first time around. The last thing I want is someone testing and trialing on my children. Right from the initial consult where Dr. Issa went out of his way to make sure he had looked at each and every possible solution for both my children including air way restrictions and snoring issues, which were not even his issues to deal with, he created and recommended a pathway which I followed up with as they grew older. I was expecting a major bill from Dr. Issa for the work he did but amazingly he waived the fees for the initial consult. I am used to initial consults where the medical professional flies through the discussion and runs off to the next patient - no more than 10 minutes or when they spend a longer time because they have no clue what I was describing/showing to them. This was not how Dr. Issa operated. I then found out from his customer email newsletters that Dr. Issa was heavily engaged in the Lehigh Valley/Emmaus community, other charities and gave back immensely. 10 days ago my daughter had her braces put on by Dr. Issa's team. The same weekend when we were having our Saturday morning family breakfast, my daughter took a large bite of a bagel, which she should not have been doing considering the documentation and instructions, she was given, dislodged the rear connector of the brace. I left a message for Dr. Issa who immediately called me up. He opened up his practice at 2 PM on a Saturday and helped us resolve the issue. Dr. Issa's work stands out to be the gold standard in orthodontic/medical services and a level above the rest (including those mass market $3995 orthodontic offerings) and for other health professionals to aspire and work towards. I highly recommend Dr. Issa with all my heart and know when I reach out to him for advice and care, he has my best interest first. He puts his patients ahead of himself. The bill I received from Dr. Issa was very well explained and he also helped me finance the cost of the orthodontic services which I greatly appreciated. From a cost perspective, for the value/level of knowledge and superior services received, Dr Issa's costs are very low for what we received in return making it a win-win for me to use and recommend his services. You can't easily fake genuine and Dr. Issa strikes me as genuinely caring for each patient as the individual that they are. He keeps up with the latest research and remembers details about his patients and who they are as a person, not just a set of teeth. I love his soft spoken yet confident and knowledgeable demeanor. We went to 4 orthodontists for consultations before picking A.I. The others did nothings wrong and seemed good too; I just felt I clicked with him the most. His plan for her was very similar to 2 of the 4 but slightly more conservative in some ways. I felt trust immediately. My daughter had some issues that are being addressed and her smile is looking gorgeous. She's come a long way in a short 4 months. Office staff is responsive and friendly, organized and competent.
