Dr. Hersh made me feel so comfortable as he explained the procedure and what to expect during and after the surgery. He made sure I had a positive surgical procedure. He was very gentle and reassuring. Lianna was competent and very accommodating by making sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure. It's very rewarding to know your being taken care of by peope who show professionalism and care about your well-being. I also woukd like to mention the Front desk staff as well. Tornique was very nice, she call in my prescriptions and Tami offered me her lumbar pillow so I would be very comfortable in the dental chair during my procedure. I called on Tuesday, June 16th, 2026, around 3 PM to schedule an appointment (Harleysville office)…read moreto have a tooth extracted (it had split in half) and to prepare for an implant. The person who answered and took my initial details told me someone would call me back shortly to book the appointment. When I called again an hour later because no one had returned my call, the same person told me once more that someone would call me back soon. I called for a third time just after 5 PM, but the office was already closed. Today Wednesday the 17th, after 10 AM, I finally received a call; after I expressed my dissatisfaction about waiting time for return call, the woman told me I had called too late the previous day. Since I was driving a large truck at the time, I couldn't provide my insurance details, but I told her I would supply them once I got home in a few hours. She said she wouldn't make the appointment without that information and that I had to call her back. (I wonder what would have happened if I didn't have insurance and was paying out of pocket.) I called them at 1:50 PM intending to provide the info and put an end to this absurd scheduling process, but I was in for a shock. A very rude woman informed me that someone would call me back shortly (I think I'd heard that before); when I objected and asked to speak to the right person, this rude individual hung up on me. I have just one message for the owners of Commonwealth Oral and Facial Surgery & Dental Implant Center: I am not the type of person who begs others to take my money. If this is how you treat a potential patient at the very beginning, I shudder to think how you treat them later. I called your competitors at 3 PM, and within 10 minutes--greeted with a smile and open arms--I had an appointment scheduled for two days later. He was super pleasant on the phone addressing my concerns because I am 32 weeks pregnant. I called Monday and was seen by Wednesday with Dr. Newman. The woman Kim I spoke to on the phone was super pleasant, even told me its possible to love my second child :) I also spoke with Taylor, who was also super pleasant, so I was feeling good about coming in to a place I've never been before. Martha the assistant was, you guessed it, super pleasant as well. She helped alongside Dr. Newman for my root canal therapy which surprisingly I felt no pain at all. I hate needles and pain, and I would go back again and again for any endodontic needs. (whatever that means, ill just go back.) Dr. Newman explained everything he was doing and that I was in control of the procedure - if I needed any breaks from bathroom needs to pain to switching positions because of the pregnancy to just raise my hand and let him know. I think I could go on and on about this place, but it was a wonderful experience. Everyone I came in contact with was super nice and I appreciate it so much.

Today was the first experience with Dr. Beth and the staff at Heritage Dental. My first impression…read morewas of the facility...from the beautiful waiting room to the warm, welcoming staff and Dr. Beth... the practice provides a professional, personal touch in every aspect of procedures and treatments. When I entered the office, Karen welcomed and greeted me warmly. I was offered a heated neck pillow and asked if I wanted any of the drinks that were available in the waiting room. The wall waterfall and soothing music provides a spa-like experience....something I've never experienced in a dental office before! Sandi is an awesome hygienist...thorough in every detail of the cleaning procedure. Dr. Beth is awesome... patient and understanding. She gave me an extensive exam and answered all of my questions with clear, concise answers. I was very fortunate to find a dental practice that I can say I will actually look forward to going for any of my dental procedures. I have been grateful a patient of Dr. Chernow's for almost 15 years, and my sole regret is that I…read morehadn't written this review sooner. Dr Chernow saved my teeth. ALL of my teeth. I had had years of orthodontia in my early teens to align my bite, but as a result of abnormally high bite pressure my teeth were worn and pitted. Despite daily brushing, flossing, and regular dental care, I couldn't chew without pain, my mouth looked terrible, and my bite was collapsing. I had several dentists throughout the years, and none had recommended anything more than a cap, crown or filling for individual teeth. After moving and on my first visit, my then new dentist told me that he wouldn't attempt to correct my issues and that no other regular dentist should have. He said I had architectural problems and NEEDED a specialist. He then referred me to Dr. Chernow for reconstruction. Dr. Chernow diagnosed my situation and crafted a plan to rebuild my bite in stages over the course of approximately two years. As I had no experience with Dr. Chernow and as this was both an expensive and time consuming proposition, I contacted a friend who heads the dentistry program at a major Philadelphia teaching hospital to get a second opinion. He referred me to specialist whose diagnosis and recommendations were essentially identical to Dr. Chernow's, which gave me comfort to proceed. And Dr. Chernow's work was, and is, excellent. Dr. Chernow is more than merely an exceedingly competent dental specialist. He also has refined artistic sensibilities: He assesses color, shape, symmetry, and other aesthetic considerations to achieve natural looking results. Although he's incredibly busy, he's never in a rush. And he has a gentle touch: Despite his having rebuilt literally all of my teeth, I have never endured an inordinately painful experience under his care. In short, while there may be other dentists as good as Dr. Bruce Chernow, I do not believe there are better. If he's not the best, then there's a tie.

I greatly appreciate the upfront pricing if my insurance does not cover the cost of my visit. I took advantage of a recent January special for in office teeth whitening. When I inquired about coming in for the service I was notified they were booked solid for the remainder of the month. FYI... teeth whitening is done on Mondays only. Advanced Dental was gracious enough to get me in for an early February appointment and honored the Jan special price. They did me a solid and didn't have to!
