I am thrilled that I've found one that I plan to stick with. Great customer service from the ladies that run the front desk, to the techs, to the dentists. I greatly appreciate the upfront pricing if my insurance does not cover the cost of my visit. I took advantage of a recent January special for in office teeth whitening. When I inquired about coming in for the service I was notified they were booked solid for the remainder of the month. FYI... teeth whitening is done on Mondays only. Advanced Dental was gracious enough to get me in for an early February appointment and honored the Jan special price. They did me a solid and didn't have to!

I've always found the front staff to be very friendly and in addition to a reminder card in the mail before your appointment, they will also give you a call. I've had a variety of dental hygienists over the years, but my favorite is Chrissy. If someone has to go poking around my mouth with a sharp object, I prefer they not mess around and just get it done. Dr. Stahlecker is great with the shots when I have to get them for fillings and she is very patient with me as my tongue tends not to cooperate when she is trying to take care of a filling. The other two dentists here are a father/daughter team and I've seen the daughter once when Dr. Stahlecker was on vacation. Again, I've never had any issue with anyone I've dealt with here and would recommend this practice to anyone new to the area or simply looking to switch dentists.

The wall waterfall and soothing music provides a spa-like experience....something I've never experienced in a dental office before! I really appreciate everything about this office. The communication, attention to detail, bedside…read moremanner, and efficiency at the front desk are all top notch. I've never had hygienists like they do here--they're all overly-versed on all things dental-hygiene related. You can tell that they love their jobs and are treated well. It also happens that their dental relations (oral surgery, etc) are also chosen with great care. (One I worked with before discovering this office, another they sent me to where I had a very easy time with a sinus lift and bone graft for a future implant). While my care plan and journey is pretty straight forward, my husband has an insane and complex dental journey ahead. If I call about whatever he should get done next, I'm confident that they'll help me get him in the chair and help him go forward with the rest of his checklist. Making a care plan here is easy breezy like Sunday morning. They will have you confident and sorted with your dental priorities and insurance. I already drive about 25 minutes to get to the Lansdale location, but if they moved, I'd just buckle up for a longer commute. The last time I was there, I noticed that Dr. Kaffey had a plaque near the front desk regarding his time as president to a regional dental association. Definitely something that wasn't surprising. "Brookwood Dental Associates" is a living example of what an ideal, quality and genuine healthcare should be like. A week ago, I had a serious health scare when I broke a major chunk on one of my molars while eating. Having never had any dental scare before in my life and only hearing the scariest of stories from people, I was nervous beyond I could describe. After much research and reviews on the internet (and unethical experience at two different dental practices closer to my home both of whom were more interested in how much they could charge my private health cover rather than having any interest in my condition) I ended up at "Brookwood Dental Associates" in Lansdale, PA. From the get-go, Dr. Salik was amazing in calming my nerves as He and his Associate Danielle would vouch I was ultra nervous not just mentally but physically. I must admit I was thoroughly impressed with Dr. Salik's expertise, knowledge, professional wisdom, and almost magical skills. He went through the check up and explained what was going on with my condition and showed genuine care by selecting the treatment that was in the best of my health interests. He then proceeded to perform the treatment, and I am beyond grateful to say that I did not feel any pain AT ALL! And that is only because he GENUINELY CARED!!! But then, this should not be a surprise to anyone because Dr. Salik is an "Award-Winning" Doctor from an Ivy League University and has stellar experience spanning more than a DECADE!!! In December, I had the opportunity to purchase optional dental coverage from my health insurer for…read morethe following year. The insurer provide me with access to a list of dental providers who accept their insurance for the following year. I found a local dental provider in the insurer's database, and confirmed the dental providers acceptance with the provider in late December. However, in order to schedule an appointment, I had to wait until I received my 2017 insurance card, so that the dental provider could be added to my insurance profile. Within ten days, the dental provider was added, but now they are saying they do not accept the insurance, despite being listed as accepting the specific insurance, and despite their telling me that they accept the insurance. Folks, the dental provider has the ability to accept insurance, or not. In this case, they informed Keystone that they will accept the insurance for 2017, so the dental provider can be placed on their database as accepting coverage. Based upon the dental provider telling me that they do indeed accept the insurance in December (for calendar year 2017), I opted to purchase the additional coverage for 2017. Now that the new policy is in place, the dental provider does not want to accept insurance. It seems as though the dental provider wants to be listed on the insurer's database, but does not want to accept the insurance. MY SUGGESTION: If you really want to utilize this provider, make sure you bring cash ... regardless of what you are told.
