Dr Ahuja has been my doctor for over 20 years, and I have nothing but good thing to say about him!! Yes, you may have to wait a little, but it's well worth it! he is very smart and kind!! the Best!! read more

Dr Ahuja is a great doctor..I bring my father in for monthly check ups And anytime we needed help with something. He is always helpful and very knowledgeable. read more

Pathetic. Have not seen such a money hungry doctor like Rajiv . We paid money for the treatment(a joke) and the blood test. We waited for a good 2 hours and were admitted in the room and were told to leave the room and go back to our car. Expecting a call from the doctor, the doctor spent 5 mins chatting on the street and then made prescriptions right from outside his officers. For a medicine for solving IBS I paid $90 for a set of 30. Ridiculous! read more

Why oh why did I not come to Yelp before sending my daughter to this guy? Her first doctor appointment on her own since she turned 18. She waited over an hour and a half to be seen. In addition she said he was rude to his office staff. We have a $20 copay for wellness visits and he made her pay an extra $70. When I called to question this, the front desk didn't know why so put the doctor on the phone. He said the insurance company doesn't always pay so he collects it in advance. When I asked about why it's taking so long he said this insurance stuff takes a long time. She came 20 minutes before her appointment to fill out the paperwork. Red flag much? Would have sent her elsewhere but she needed to be cleared to play sports in college and it was due today. Will not be going back. Cigna needs to take him off as a provider. read more

Worst place ever. Please avoid. They are so greedy that they schedule appointments every 10 minutes with the same doctor. Cash only and they have the audacity to tell you they dont have change. read more

Where is the zero stars rating when you need it? What all Yelpers reviews say is true, DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR! Not even his own receptionists know when he will show up even though his office is full of people with appointments, the Dr. is no where to be found, his receptionists keep saying he's on his way... where exactly does he live out of state? Health care providers should not be sending him patients. So glad he is not our Primary Care Physician, my husband was there to get a FAA medical certification physical, but never saw the Dr., after waiting over an hour with a room full of patients we left. DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR, GO FIND A MORE RELIABLE PHYSICIAN!!!! read more

Doctor Ahuja is the best doctor I have ever had and the best Internal medicine Doctor in the area.. This is not a hyperbole statement. Two years ago I had been missdiagnossed from my previous medical team for months. One of the most high profile teams in fancy offices. It became an emergency situation. I found Dr Ahuja with no pictures and no fancy words explaining how great he is and a departure from all the other listings of doctors in the area. I walked (actually wheeled) into his office, yes it's humble and no fancy million dollar waiting room. The staff noticed how much pain I was under and immediately put me in front of the line. Doctor Ahuja rushed into the waiting room and wheeled me in. Calmed me down and immediately said he was going to take care of me. At the same time he was calming my sister who was in tears because she didn't know what was wrong with me. Doctor Ahuja said to immediately admit me to the hospital (my previous fancy doctor said unnecessary earlier that day). Dr Ahuja called the Emergency room, asked that I be admitted. He wheeled me out himself to the parking lot and helped sit me in the car and sent me to the ER where I immediately admitted. That night I told I needed two blood transfusions and if I had delayed it further it would have been critical. During my stay he was constantly monitoring for progress and correctly diagnosed me three weeks before the specialists taking care of me at the hospital. He saved my life that day two years ago. Since then he has gone even further above and beyond if that is possible for my care. If all you are looking for is fancy offices, with fancy pictures and fancy websites then go ahead and look further. Dr Ahuja is a throwback doctor relying on pure ability and smarts. A basic office with a team that knows you. A doctor who will wheel you out himself and sit you in the car and constantly check up on you! Thank you Doctor Ahuja and your wonderful staff! read more

I would give no star for bad customer service and really long wait for services. You can't just accept all patients inquiry if you don't have the bandwidth or manpower to handle them. Or expect the patient to come back on the day when you're not available. I only wish that he would upgrade or improve the quality of his business rather than the quantity. read more

Our doctor for the past 10 years. We absolutely love him. The wait times are long but Dr. Ahuja is very good. His bedside manner is very caring and you can tell he truly cares for his patients. Here is our example of what an awesome doctor he is. My husband was brought into the ER for confusion. When we told the ER Doctor our primary doc was Dr. Ahuja. I guess they notified him and he came to the hospital to assess him and admit him. While the other ER doctors thought my husband was having a nervous breakdown Dr Ahuja ordered a MRI and we found that my husband had actually suffered a stroke from bilateral carotid dissections (unknown cause). While my husband was in ICU Dr. Ahuja took care of my husband's paperwork (at 3am) in order to have him transferred to Stanford when the other doctors dropped the ball (which held up the transfer) He didn't have to do that, but he did. For that I'm forever grateful. That was in Feb 2012. Luckily my husband survived and is now back to work full time and I credit his recovery in part due to the concern and care Dr. Ahuja provided. Now if that isn't worth 5 stars I don't know what is. read more

Showed up 15 min early for what should have been a brief appointment. Over an HOUR AND A HALF after my appointment time, the doctor still hadn't even shown up in the building. read more

My mom had appointment today at 1:20 and I registered her around 1:10 and I told receptionist I will be in my car give us a call gave her my number because there was too many people waiting inside and outside when it's our turn since my mom is old and don't walk stay around lot of people due to the virus. I called 1:47 was told 10mins okayyyyyy.no call so I called back at 2:06 the receptionist said he will call from my phone and I told her is not a phone appointment so the dr from the back screaming who is it and the lady told him and he said tell them to come. We went in and the doctor told us to go to room 2 and his coming. So then the medical assistant (indian lady) came in and ask my mom about her meds and start doing her vitals and then she got phone call so she was talking on the phone while me and my mo. sitting there waiting but then she started to texting. Dr came in the room ask moms some questions and run out in different room don't come back for 7 mins make me very uncomfortable we In pendamic and his running room to room (your safe wearing N95 gloves and gown) when I told him my appointment today lasted for 2 hours and he get very offensive and he told me I'm help ur mom in a loud voice then i got loud too tell him appointment should not last this long and about his employee what she was doing in the room and I'm a healthcare worker too. So when we go to doctors office wait time should be 20 mins(not 2 hrs) to see doctor NOT a assistant. Then at the little receptionist area he has in his office 5 people standing and 3 staff members and he keep checking mom's folder and the other patients folder. Thats how medical error can be done.Waiting room sign says no more than 3 people but inside u have 3 employees and 5 patient and family members. And he was rude to the staff in hayward office He should help one patient at a time. read more

Dr. Rajiv is an excellent Doctor for his patients. He provides extra support whether it is general outpatient or immigration related issues. Dr. Rajiv Ahuja listens to the health problems and gives diagnosis very well. Highly recommend him as family physician. read more

Unprofessional front end staff. Had an appointment at 11am, I get inside at 12:10pm. Ask how long the wait will be? She says he's on his way. He is down the street, ok so why am I here? If I had the first appointment his ass should be here at 11am! Horrible and annoying wait time. While I'm waiting he has the time chit chat with his front staff and talk and laugh when he's 1 hour late and has patients waiting! No patient care or respect for people time! read more

What a total shithole. I schedule a 6 PM appointment. Arrive 15 minutes early to fill out paper work only to find the office overflowing with patients. I sign in and the lady just asks me to sit down. I ask, "I don't have to fill out any paper work? Are these dozen people all here this late to see the same doctor?" After reading other yelpers reviews I can see that he is over booking himself, preying on people needing physicals to attain citizenship. Cool. read more

Great Dr. terrible front desk. I've waited for as long as an hour w/out ever seeing the Dr. and to make matters worse the snippy, rude receptionist acted like I was being demanding because I had a problem w/waiting that long! LOL Needless to say, regardless of how good this Dr. is I don't settle for disrespectful customer service nor do I have time as a parent to waste 3+ hours of my day in a Dr.'s office. read more

Everyone's right, the customer service and the front desk here really stink and they absolutely book more patients than they can handle. But I've noticed that they have tried to improve their customer service, at least via phone calls. My biggest issue is that I'll notice when I go there, I have an appointment at 10, and see on the sign in sheet that someone has an appointment at 10:05 or 9:55. How on earth do you expect to see a patient in like 5 minutes? They obviously overbook themselves and care about quantity over quality. However, Dr. Ahuja is very nice and very caring. He even asked for follow up information from one of my referals so he could be in the know on how I'm doing. Another pro is, although you'll be in the waiting room for 2-3 hours, you will at least not have to wait weeks to get an appointment. So I guess, you win some you loose some. read more

Dr. Ahuja is very qualified experienced dr. I am with him for last 6 yrs. I agree that his clinic overflows but that speaks of his professional excellence. You have a choice go to Dr. who is not busy and get under rated treatment and keep on than doing follow up visits. or go to Dr. Ahuja have a great consultation and get your problem diagnosed without needing a second visit. His Diagnosis is par excellence. read more

Please don't even think of going to this doctor... I had a terrible experience. I am not saying he is bad wrt curing a disease but he thinks money ahead of patient. He looted $550 in the name of INS exam from me and asked me to pay myself for blood test x-ray etc. I end up paying more than $700 for the whole process..... When I asked him that this is not fair ... he just nods his head and goes away with a smile...... Be prepared and never go to this doctor if your requirement is not covered by your insurance. read more

I went there to get the immigration medical test for my family. The experience and service was terrible to say the least. They are very rude and disorganized. The first time I called them they assured me that they can get the tests done and the report out in 2 days. It took 10 days! They are extremely unreliable. You don't want to risk your immigration application by using them. There are a lot of other certified clinics who will do it for the same price but in a more professional manner. Stay away from using them. read more

This place is terrible, the front staff is rude. I had an appointment scheduled with the doctor and when I showed up the doctor had gone home for the day. There was no prior cancellation, no one told me he would not be there and I had to go back home. When calling the office the girl who answered was very rude and abrupt. There is no proper patient care. They don't even deserve one star. Find a different doctor. read more

I am taking off one star for his extreme wait times and rude front desk employees. But Dr. Ahuja is a great doctor. He's helpful, nice and extremely knowledgeable. He can take one look at you and pinpoint your problem. The only downside is that his wait times are so long. I only go if I am as sick as a dog and I have no choice but to go because I don't want to sit there are wait 1-2 hours! I wish he his wait times were not so long because often times I am sick and I need to visit the doctor but I don't have the patience to wait so I don't go at all and just wait to feel better. His front desk employees require a separate paragraph. They are so annoying. I have yet to go in and see them happy. They always seem like they are mad at the world and never answer your questions honestly. They get annoyed when you ask them how long it is going to be take before the doctor sees you, but seriously people are going to get annoyed sitting there waiting for an hour waiting to be seen. It's never a quick go in and out visit. It's a dreadful process. If their rudeness wasn't enough they talk in Punjabi super loud. It is so obnoxious to say the least. I understand/speak Punjabi so it might not bother me as much as someone who doesn't know Punjabi, but I feel it is super rude that all the employees are always talking to one another in Punjabi. You are at work, talk to each other in English and stop making other people feel uncomfortable. I understand completely if someone doesn't understand English, perhaps a patient, and the front desk people need to talk to the patient in Punjabi but I see no reason for these girls to be talking in Punjabi amongst each other and that to so loud. The office is quite small and they go around talking so loudly. Ugh, I am never going to get use to the front desk employees. I can keep going on and on. I hope they read this and tame themselves. read more
