This is my first visit in Rome and stop by this bistro on the way back to hotel from Vatican Church. This bistro is small , cozy but yet trendy enough to accommodate the most comfortable dining experience. Pizza tastes good and looks colorful with egg, mushrooms, herbs and black olive. Mineral water is served in a clear, cold catching eye bottle with a thick browning glass. I really enjoy the food and the atmosphere of the bistro and an excellent service. Highly recommended

Stopped here for "breakfast " since I had time to kill for the Vatican. The outside dining was nice as they had little fire warmers as it's getting into winter. I had their Europea which is a ham and cheese sandwich. It was well made. Good ingredients; some people may say it's bland but I like the flavors just be the star. They did ask if I wanted mayo or ketchup but I declined. It was a great place to stop and eat while waiting for my entry time.

A-Go to Lillo Such a delicious and warm breakfast we had before seeing Vatican City! Such great service and beautiful indoor area, have to say the cappuccino was very delicious!! If you're in the mood by Vatican City, stop by here! The ambiance was so cute inside honestly we were the only ones but the wine all over the wall was such a cute photo spot honestly!!!

This place is the BOMB! We had a wonderful server named Marco and he was very attentive! We arrived at the perfect time, just before 6:30 and avoided waiting in line with no reservations. We ordered the Bolognese Pasta, Meatballs, Suppli and Ravioli. The Suppli was delicious. I paired the Bolognese Pasta with the meatballs and it amazing. The Ravioli was just amazing! I highly recommend this place by the Colosseum.

Great little pot to eat near the Vatican. Sat outside and people watched. Ordered the Cacio de Pepe with Truffles. I didn't care for the Truffles, but the pasta was good.

Finally! I really pizza. After 2 days in Rome I was searching for a delicious pizza and I found it. This little resto is located just outside the Vatican City Museums - so it was the perfect way to feed my face after 3 hours of walking around. The service was good and I enjoyed the outside seating. * beware of the sink in the bathroom. It is operated by a foot pedal. It took me some time to figure out how to wash my hands.

They places has okay food just to get full, but nothing to enjoy. They welcome you one the street and push you to sit. Once we we're inside it took them 7 minutes to get us at least water. Same thing happened went we try to pay it wool them so long to bring our check, we missed our bus because of that. Beautiful looking place.

Great service, pasta + antipasti!! Good place to stop for a quick bite while out and about in Rome.

Relatively good. Had brochette and pizza. The brochette was a bit too simple. Just a piece of bread with a little olive, pesto and tomato spread on. A big pricy. The pizza was cooked well and tasted good.

The place looks a little small but they have a great service and the food is so good too, the waitress are very friendly and eating outside was very pleasant, and yes, they do speak English

Pesto Gnocchi and Prosecco, so delicious! Excellent service. Sitting outside is lovely! I had lunch after visiting the Vatican.

This place offers a variety of home baked pastries and good coffee. The waiters speak English and make excellent recommendations. The outdoor seating area has a nice view of the streets and gives a homie feeling. The free wifi is nice to have when you're trying to find locations around you while making a quick stop. I would highly recommend this place.

Serving Rome since late-2010, Metamorfosi has carved a niche amongst Rome's largely traditional…read moredining scene, Chef and owner Roy Caceres doing so by taking local Ingredients and "transforming" them into plates that evoke ideas and emotions. Located on Via Giovanni Antonelli, in the Parioli area, it is immediately upon entry that guests are drawn in by neutral colors and wood, the warmth exuded by staff expected from a Michelin-starred Restaurant and service particularly attentive on Monday evening where only three other tables were occupied over the course of 140-minutes. Deliberately paced, and referencing everything from Chef Caceres' Colombian childhood to time in Japan, diners are asked to decide between tasting menu and a la carte after Water is poured, the latter chosen out of desire for specific items and beginning with benign Wheat Crisps followed by far more interesting housemade Bread with a blended spread of Honey Butter and Olive Oil. Dabbling in modernism, an iSi charger undoubtedly involved in Potato Foam with Octopus and Onions to whet palates, course one featured Metamorfosi's signature "Carbonara Egg 65°" riffing Rome's signature dish via immersion circulator with suspended Chicharrones while Scallop Ceviche approached a South American spice profile using Calabrian Sausage in place of Aji Peppers. Whimsical again with Primi, Caceres' S-foglia replacing Pasta with Broccoli surrounding Pork bathed by Almond Cream, "Encased" Risotto hinges more on the tableside preparation than anything else, a bit gimmicky though the taste and texture of Rice, Mushrooms and Hazelnuts are delightful. Suggesting the €85 wild-caught Mallard "for two," a tableside preparation plating Breast alongside Carob and Squash with its Seeds, steep-pricing became justified through the addition of satellite plates offering Confit with Chestnuts and Liver beneath Truffles lightly sweetened by Balsamic. Using English Stilton wrapped in White Chocolate as a bridge to Dessert, an unexpected but enjoyable choice in Italy, it was after a somewhat protracted delay thay "Malaga 2.0" arrived, the idea somewhere between Halo Halo and deconstructed Panettone thanks to Egg Yolk Ice Cream, boozy Raisins, Citrus and Bread.

It's been years and I still can't forget this meal. The carbonara made me emotional. I can't wait…read moreuntil next time I'm in town so I can return
