Honestly, I can rave about Sasha all day. We chose her because of the plethora of goodies on her Website. Like "I also work with couples who describe themselves as "spiritual, but not really religious," as well as couples of faith who feel that their religious beliefs are best left out of their wedding celebration." Or her 12 years+ of expertise, or Book of Ceremonies, or her Script Writing Service. She was a lifesaver in making my husband's vows beautiful & compliment mine because she was reading and editing both together. and he hates writing! She also was such a calming presence on the day of... and this is speaking as a bride with severe anxiety. And throughout our 2 year long engagement during a pandemic. She was lovely at checking in with us and really holding our hands to make our ceremony perfect and really sound like our voices. So much so I send every couple I meet to her and the ones who have hired her love her just as much! We can't thank her enough for her hand in making our day as magical as it was and hope we have a chance to see each other again soon! read more

Agnostic Weddings - Sasha and us on our wedding day! Thank you SO much Sasha 3 - N&D - Officiants Near Me

I can't give a high enough rating for Sasha! We found Sasha through my now-husband's mother who was searching on our behalf for a non-religious Officiant to marry us. Once I read the Yelp reviews and viewed her website, I knew Sasha was the missing piece to our wedding puzzle. Everything was SO EASY! I mean, scary easy! We chose the elopement package since we were doing a simple ceremony at a public place (Lion's Lighthouse for Sight in Long Beach) with 10 guests. We Skyped a little after a few emails and it was perfect. Sasha's communication was just right and it really helped us hone in to the ceremony and vows that were right for us. She even through in a beer reference (we're beer snobs) and a Star Wars reference (we're also geeks)! We had already been together for a decade (our wedding was on our 10year anniversary), and she even worked that in to the ceremony too. What we got was absolutely priceless and perfect!! If you're not sure who to marry you, she is the one. She is so genuine and you can tell she loves what she does. She handled our marriage license and having the witnesses sign; we didn't have to really think about anything on our wedding day but one another. We can't thank you enough, Sasha!! read more

Agnostic Weddings - So happy to have had Sasha marry us! - Officiants Near Me

We hired Sasha as the officiant for our wedding on 8/20/2022. She spent a lot of time getting to know us so she could personalize the ceremony to match our personalities. She also outlined exactly how the planning process and ceremony was going to go, which was reassuring since we were not sure what we wanted for the ceremony initially. She had some great ideas that helped us plan everything out, and the script we came up with was absolutely perfect. We even included in a few jokes and a "sharing of the beer"! We got so many compliments on how much the ceremony fit us as a couple. We were very happy working with Sasha and would definitely recommend her. Thanks again! read more

Sasha was the officiant for my son's and daughter in law's wedding. It's hard to describe how beautiful Sasha's smile, sparking eyes and grace are. Sasha's guidance and expertise made us feel at peace. The words spoken were so beautiful and meant so much, I believe everyone present was moved. The lasting memories are magical, I can't imagine them without her. Thank you, Sasha read more

Sasha is the best!! She was our officiant for our wedding back in Sep of 2011. Hubs and I aren't religious people and trying to find any officiant that wasn't was hard at first. But, I found her on theknot.com and was so happy I did! So easy to get a hold of. We met and it was fantastic! She is the coolest officiant and person ever and made it so stress-free. I didn't even care how much she charged (which wasn't that much for how awesome she is!) She always checked in on us and asked how the wedding planning was going which was nice. On the day of the wedding, I couldn't have asked for anything better. Everyone loved her and a few of my religious friends wanted her to do their wedding one day! Gotta love it. She did everything we wanted and more. Never had any worries about the marriage license and completely trusted her. I totally want to hang out with her and have a bbq or something! read more

Sasha is simply amazing. Selecting her to be our wedding officiant for our wedding this past May was one of the easiest and best decisions we made during our planning process. She was the first and only officiant we interviewed, and we knew right away that we wanted to work with her. She is very sweet and easy to work with, and has a calming effect (important for the day of!). She helps you through the entire process and crafts the ceremony into something that is unique to you and that feels comfortable for you. I remember being more than a little put off by reading vows and ceremonies online that we're overly mushy or religious, but you don't have to worry about that with Sasha. Her book of ideas is very helpful as a starting point, and she is willing to work with you on any part that you want changed or worded differently so that it fits you. The result for us was perfect. Our ceremony was meaningful, personal, and elicited a few laughs. Sasha has a talent for evoking such heartfelt emotion with her words as well... we received so many compliments from attendees wondering if she was a close personal friend. I honestly can't imagine the ceremony being any better. Major bonus points to her as well for saving the day just before the ceremony. My husband lost a button on his tux, and Sasha was totally prepared with a sewing kit and got everything fixed up in time for the ceremony. Thank you Sasha! This is a one time event, but if we were to have another wedding, there's no one else we would choose to officiate, and I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for an officiant. You will not regret going with Sasha! read more

Sasha was just incredible! So thoughtful, patient, and willing to work with both of us as we created our ceremony and wrote our vows. I can't recommend her enough. read more

If you are looking for the perfect officiant for your wedding, look no further. You have found her in Sasha Kuczynski. Our ceremony was better than we imagined. After waiting for almost 28 years it became possible for us to marry. Neither of us being affiliated with organized religion, we needed an officiant, and after looking through many prospects, Sasha was a true find! She presented us with ideas and options so it was truly our ceremony. She helped us choose wording and traditions that she incorporated beautifully into our marriage. Her performance of the ceremony was flawless, eloquent and used the perfect tone, emphasis and inflection. It was enjoyable as well as unforgettable. Sasha is in love with love. She is awesome and we sincerely thank her, and are grateful we found her. Joyce & Silvia read more

As our wedding was last summer (2015), I'm a little late on this review. But, in a word, amazing. There. Stop reading, just call her, email her, skywrite, whatever it takes. GO SEE SASHA! A little more details? Okay, since you asked. So... neither my wife or I are what you would call religious (one of us is an atheist, the other something akin to a Buddhist minus the Buddha and food restrictions mixed with Jedi/Sith minus the magic, mixed with logic...ist..ism?, anyway); however, several family members and guests would definitely be "God-fearing folk," if you will. Now this was a minor concern to me, but somewhat of a bigger concern for my wife. So we stuck to our guns and went with Sasha. After the ceremony, several uber religious guests at our wedding were actually pleasantly shocked (not appalled, frightened, or even disappointed) to find out that Sasha was not "on the same page" as them in terms of any Supreme Being or Godduhallahagavan (you like what I did there?). In fact, there was even a pastor present who wanted to try to do some what Sasha does in the weddings they perform from now on. Long story short, the ceremony was great. The guests were pleased and loved all the little personal touches Sasha added to the ceremony to make it feel unique and personal. Don't hesitate. Bring her on board now. You won't regret it. read more

Getting Sasha on board was one of the best decisions my husband and I made in the crazy wedding planning process. We crafted our ceremony exactly how we wanted it with the help of Sasha's experience and expertise. As the others mentioned, we got to scribble through her book and the result was a ceremony script that was borrowed but completely our own at the same time. We included a filipino tradition in our ceremony and Sasha seamlessly incorporated it like she had done it a million times before. Sasha arrived early to our wedding and checked in on each of us. Promptly after the ceremony, Sasha gathered all the witnesses and we signed the license. We got kudos from friends and family for having a short, special, and unique ceremony. I recommended Sasha to a friend, but she was already booked. I *highly* recommend snagging Sasha asap! read more

Agnostic Weddings - Sasha, thank you for making our ceremony exactly what we wanted, "elegant casual + religion-free" - Officiants Near Me

Sasha did our wedding 10 years ago today and I never realized that we never did a review. Despite a decade passing, I still remember that she made the experience all about us. Another officiant said they were open to non-religious ceremonies, but when we met they wanted to reference god which wasn't our thing. Sasha was different. We wanted her to wear a Red Sox jersey and she was like excited for us. She was a big part of making the day memorable for us. read more

We loved working with Sasha from the first meeting to when we handed over our wedding license! There's something about Sasha that makes you feel very comfortable and at ease in a seemingly hectic wedding planning process. Me and my (now) husband didn't really know what we wanted or expected out of a wedding officiant, only that we needed one, and wanted a non-denominational ceremony. Sasha was transparent and knowledgeable about the entire process, and has a really organized way of helping you choose the content of the ceremony script, vows and general feel. She has a lot of pre-written options to choose from and makes great recommendations - and will also accommodate any custom requests. A couple of months after our first meeting, she sent over the final script for review. Had we had a lot of changes I am sure she would have accommodated, but since we really didn't have much to change, we didn't end up talking to her until much closer to the wedding to confirm details. She was very timely about following up about a week before our wedding, and gave us all the details we'd need to know (e.g. bring marriage license, what to expect, etc.). On the day of our wedding she showed up an hour before the ceremony and gave us a briefing/tips on how the ceremony would run. She also spoke directly with our witnesses who signed our marriage license, and even took care of sending in the paperwork! Sasha did a wonderful job with the actual ceremony, i'm so happy with how it turned out. She is truly a talented professional, and we got a lot of compliments on how beautiful people thought the ceremony was. To boot - I was a bit worried that the script we picked would end up being too long, but it ended up being the perfect length (about 15-20 minutes). read more

THE BEST!!! Do yourself a favor and have Sasha with Agnostic Weddings do your wedding. This was the best decision we made!!!! We met with Sasha months before our wedding and instantly we had a connection with her. She is one of the sweetest and honest people you will ever meet. Neither my now wife or I are religious and we wanted a special ceremony that highlighted our love and commitment rather that organized religion. Sasha made everything so special!!! She was so organized and made us feel like we were her only clients. My wife found her on theknot.com and she has great reviews there as well. There was not a dry eye in the building when she spoke. She personalized the entire ceremony and made it so special. I feel so lucky to have met Sasha and now have her as a friend. She also traslated the ceremony to Farsi for my grandmother, such a nice thing to do :) Do yourself a favor, have Sasha do your wedding, it will exceed all of your expectations!!! Thank you so very much Sasha!!!!! read more

I love Sasha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'd give her ten stars if I could. Not only was she affordable and professional, but she was overly prepared and was able to do our ceremony even after we'd apparently given her the wrong time for the start by an hour. She simply told us to relax, walked up, and held the ceremony as if nothing had gone wrong. When I arrived at the bottom of the stairs to see my now wife, I was so, so nervous. Sasha took a private moment with the mic down at her side to tell us both, "Breathe. This is the time for deep breaths." It was a very welcoming, calming act that helped us focus. And when we inevitably messed up our lines or needed a tissue, she was there to the rescue. Not even kidding - she had tissues ready for me once my wife started reading her vows! Also, after the ceremony, my wife's shoes were really rubbing her feet badly. She was in so much pain. We found Sasha as our witnesses were signing the papers, and she had a little wedding kit, complete with band-aids!! I can't even say how happy my wife was to see that. We got to take a breather while she fixed her feet. One last thing - we owed Sasha half of our payment the day of the wedding but in all the chaos of telling her the wrong time, we didn't get a chance to pay her. She was incredibly good about this, telling us "don't worry about that right now!" and later on sent an email letting us know how to pay. It was just so sweet of her, to allow us our own time for the ceremony and marriage without stressing over something else. It really meant the world to us. I'd recommend Sasha to anyone in a heartbeat. read more

Sasha was absolutely perfect from our first phone call to the ceremony on our wedding day. My husband and I had a long engagement and we both knew the first thing on our to-do wedding list was to find an officiant who would honor our values without being religious. The first meeting was in Sasha's home and we immediately felt we made the right choice. Sasha just shines with joy and has a calming presence. Sasha was so patient with our several rounds of edits and additions, and gave great feedback on our vows. I can't believe how affordable her rates are given the time and energy she spends in customizing each ceremony script. Sasha put us at ease on the wedding day (5/28/17) and we received great compliments from our guests on how wonderful the ceremony and Sasha was. I cannot recommend Sasha more highly to couples looking for the best officiant! read more

I cannot begin to write a review worthy enough of the praise this woman deserves as we were truly honored to have her marry us! We were recently married by Sasha @ Agnostic Weddings and could not have been more pleased. From our first meeting until our good-bye at the wedding, Sasha was there to hold our hand and get us through the big day. She had wonderful suggestions and calm words to ease our minds. We were searching for a non-religious officiant who still understood the value of our love and need for a ceremony. We found that in Sasha. We were able to incorporate some Irish wedding traditions into the ceremony as well as the amazing words themselves. Our friends and family, both religious and not could not stop raving about how beautiful the ceremony was and how they had tears in their eyes. read more

David T. forgot to mention a few key facts about our wedding that made Sasha just an exceptional officiant, so I need to add my two cents. 1) Sasha is PREPARED. when one of the groomsmen lost a button on his tux, Sasha was there in an instant with her emergency sewing kit and sewed it right back on! She also had a mini lint roller that we needed for a little surprise during the ceremony 2) Sasha has a great sense of humor! David mentioned that Sasha is ordained in the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, but he forgot to mention that she ordained all of the groomsmen as ministers to boot! By our request, she also brought some religious headgear (aka a colander) so she could take pictures with us after the ceremony with it! 3) Options options options! When you sit down with Sasha, she will hand you a book with so many different styles of language... whether you want the flowery romantic style or the practical, no-nonsense language, she has it all! Sasha is a consummate professional and just an all around pleasant person to be around. Thank you Sasha for an amazing wedding, we had so many people come up to us and compliment different parts of the ceremony! read more

Had the pleasure of having Sasha as our officiant at our elopement ceremony in Joshua Tree National Park April 2014. Sahsa is great--easy to work with, cool person, great communicator. She's really a natural! She was patient as we went back and forth with all the wording of our vows, was prompt and responsive through-out the whole process, and then delivered the ceremony very authentically--not at all canned or rehearsed. She made the whole thing that much more meaningful and we're so glad we found her and were able to have her a part of our very special day! read more

Pastafarian unite! We searched high and low for an officiant that was going to perform the ceremony we wanted and not something that our parents did. We were looking for someone that was spiritual, but not religious. We actually interviewed three different officiants for our wedding, Sasha being the first. After we finished our first Skype session, we both said to each other, that Sasha was the one, but we didn't want to jump the gun, and we interviewed two other people. In the end we came back to Sasha. Sasha was very organized. When we went to go meet with her face-to-face for the first time, we were amazed at how organized she was. She made customizing our ceremony easy and simple. Once our ceremony was over, we had several people come up to us saying that they loved it. One of the best things, is that Sasha is a member of the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, which we had her sign on our marriage certificate. Sasha, you are amazing and thank you for the amazing service. read more

From the first time we met up with Sasha to discuss what we wanted for our wedding, we knew in an instant that we just had to have her as our wedding officiant! Sasha just has a way of making you feel very comfortable and it was very easy to connect with her. You can also tell that she sincerely wants the best for your ceremony and made the whole initial steps very easy to take in figuring out what we want for our wedding. She's also very professional and goes above and beyond. She was very patient when there were lulls in communication on our part (running around and planning a wedding can get overwhelming for brides as you all know), and was very helpful and prompt in answering questions. She also wrote a beautiful ceremony script that has just the right amount of duration---not too long, not too short, and one that truly reflects our love and our personality. She also helped make sure that the wedding vows that my wife and I wrote go together without giving away any of the content of what the other wrote, and we didn't even have to worry about where to put our vows because they're included in this small book that has our ceremony's script and vows in it, which she gave to us as a keepsake. How awesome is that? She also arrived an hour early to make sure that the string quartet know when to start playing music for particular parts, and she collaborated with the photographers and videographers as well to make sure that taking shots and videos will go smoothly and they'll know what to expect beforehand, which I think is awesome and I never would have expected for an officiant to care about, but Sasha is definitely a super woman! I definitely highly recommend Sasha to anyone who's getting married!!! Thank you so much for sharing our special day with us, Sasha!! read more

I found Sasha online while searching for someone to officiate my son's wedding. She was perfect. At first, I was taken in by her warm, loving smile in the photo. Once I spoke with her, I knew she would be the soft-spoken, thoughtful person we were hoping to find. She was just adorable and beamed lovingly as she performed the ceremony...which included special references personalized for the couple. She also did a sand activity where my son and his bride mixed colored sands together in one vessel to represent their union. It was lovely...and so is she. You can't go wrong with Sasha. read more

So long overdue! Sasha worked well with us. She gave us pages and pages of vows to use and mix and match to become our own. She sent us several drafts until it was perfect for us. All of our guests were so impressed with her and how she presented herself. As atheists it is hard to find an officiant, but I'm so glad we worked with Sasha. I just had two words for Sasha: Above and Beyond. I met Sasha at about the same time I met the woman who became my wife. I carried her business card in my wallet for 4 years; it was worth the wait. Working with Sasha on our wedding ceremony was a pleasure as she is both very personable and professional. Since we had no religious ceremonial baggage to carry our ceremony was the perfect representation of me, my wife to be, and our relationship. It was funny, touching, and thought provoking. Sasha's delivery was warm and friendly; everyone loved her. By excluding no one she included everyone; both our theistic and non-theistic friends & family felt honored. I hope to never need Sasha's services again, but I'd work with her again without a moments hesitation. read more

Sasha was kind enough to offer her ceremony writing services pro bono, due to a slight communication mixup via email. She also offered to provide advice to my sister on the officiating process. Thanks for your thoughtfulness, Sasha! read more

Man o' man, where do I start. Sasha is awesome! That is enoug, right? We met Sasha (literally two weeks) before our wedding September 2012 wedding. The officiant was something we put off because we didn't think it was a huge deal. We started meeting with other officiants about 6 weeks out, that did not go so well. They just couldn't leave their preacher hat at home. Sasha on the other hand brings you into her home and provides a fresh look at what vows can and should be, personal. She was truly awesome, and was a breath of fresh air at the wedding. Side note: She makes a mean smoothie too! read more

Sasha Rusk was an outstanding choice! We were looking for a nonreligious personal ceremony, and Sasha provided just that. She interviewed us for a couple hours to get to know us. From there, she created a personalized, unique ceremony script that we could edit and change as we liked. She was supportive and was able to answer all of our questions about the ceremony and marriage license. When it rained right before our outdoor wedding, she helped come up with back up plans. After the ceremony, our guests commented on how well she spoke during the ceremony. We also loved her sand ceremony idea, which we had not heard of before. If you are looking for a nonreligious officiant, I would highly recommend her. She helped more than we expected. read more

My husband and I loved having Sasha officiate our wedding! We could sense her warmth and kindness, even just through a FaceTime session with her! But we honestly didn't even need to have her change much of anything! I thought it was sweet that she came up to my room at the hotel on the ceremony site to stop by and say hello. She added a bit of guest participation in the vows which was really fun, sweet, and light hearted. My husband told me that he almost cried, and that Sasha told him it was good to cry, and that she offered him a tissue. How cute! All in all, Sasha was AWESOME! read more

We got so lucky that we picked vendors that really felt like our friends. We would love to get to know them regardless of what they do in life. I took a chance since I was clueless about officiants. Other than going to a Buddhist temple every once in a while, I didn't have anyone to go to for our wedding. I emailed her and I liked how responsive she was. She does this full-time and it really helped when it came to getting back to us. We talked on the phone. She explained her process. My (now) husband and I met her for coffee and we went straight to getting to know each other, creating our ceremony and getting the final touches out of the way. She showed up at our ceremony site and she was very familiar with everyone there. A great plus. She was able to help facilitate the ceremony with the venue manager. She was great with showing up early on the day of our wedding. My sister even asked me where I found her. My sister liked her instantly and was surprised I just found Sasha on a whim! Sasha was so amazing, laid back, happy, and easy to work with.. Her approach for putting together a ceremony is perfect. She then combines the phrases and ideas you have indicated into a ceremony draft, which she sends to you to review or edit as you please.
