However, since I was home sick, my husband checked their work once completed. He wasn't satisfied with a few things and thought they weren't as thorough as you could have been. The kitchen floor was still dirty in front of the kitchen door and all he did was take a wet paper towel and clean it up. They did mention the kitchen floor being a laminate was difficult it is to clean, but on the other hand, clean water without a chemical and a paper towel did the job. Same thing with the kitchen counter - there was sticky residue from an adhesive countertop paper the tenant had used and my husband had to clean it off the edges. Crystal Klear did get the top stickiness off but didn't it go around to the edge to remove it. My husband cleaned that as well. Also splattered paint that was on the baseboards and also the toilet from the painter weren't addressed, and my husband just picked off the drips with his fingernail to clean it away. One more thing, there was a label on the tank part of a toilet that wasn't removed and just left there. Although specifically not mentioned in my directives, I would think that they would take that off when they cleaned. When I received an email asking how they did, I replied with everything above and I never received a response in return. Very disappointing that the communication was excellent before the job, but when I pointed out things after they were done, dead silence. I don't think I would use them again. Although our investment properties in Oswego are on the older side, I still expect attention to detail with a cleaning service to get the place ready for a new tenant.

I asked for special attention to the shelving in the closets only to find they were likely only dusted as the grime was still caked on. Self cleaning of the cabinetry after the clean resulted in the cleaning wipes looking black. The guy cleaning was friendly but ultimately not worth the money spent. EDIT: Since the business owner replied, cleaning looked good upon initial review and comment listed was sent minutes after the cleaner left. Kitchen grime wasn't noticed until moving in, and with respect to offering to come redo/reclean, that offer was not made, just a discount. I'll give an extra star out of fairness for that, but to me the pricing is still inconsistent with the quality

We tried but couldn't reach Guillermo that day. Cleaning was sub-par as follows: 1. Kitchen cabinets: Some were clean, others weren't. Dusty on outside 2. Didn't remove residue on tile floor or didn't have proper product to remove it 3. Tile grout in foyer is not clean 4. Didn't clean bugs out of light fixture 5. Top of fridge was not cleaned 6. Didn't dust light fixture in foyer. 7. Didn't clean threshold plates at the back door or at the garage door leading to the house. 8. For example, see the picture attached of the cloth when we wiped the kitchen floor AFTER the cleaning crew left. Guillermo, the DSM owner, advertises on Yelp: "Backed by our 100% Quality Service Guarantee: If you are not absolutely delighted with the service, we will re-service the area within 24 hours of notification for free." I've called twice and left messages but have yet to get a response. I could write more but am already too frustrated.
