My relationship with AGC began in late 2020 when I hired them to remodel our main bathroom. I wanted our bathroom to reflect 20,000 leagues under the sea theming, and they not only did a fantastic job, they were able to help with ideation and some thematic touches, like our squid shower drain! I invited them back last summer to remodel the downstairs portion of our home. It was a huge overwhelming project, including our kitc hen, dining room, living room, guest suite (with full bathroom) and half bath. In the short time between our first bathroom project and this one, they had already incorporated a lot of prior feedback and grown their team. I knew it would be a difficult project- I had an idea for cabinet doors that I could not find anywhere, I wanted a rustic theme, but not farmhouse, and I wanted to incorporate a kayak chandelier we made, and I had lots of ideas of colors, theming, etc. The cabinets ended up having to be custom made, and AGC really delivered an amazing product. During the process they continued to deliver first class service. They established the work site with a set of dust barriers, and it really helped keep our living area separate from the chaos. Everyone who came to the house was courteous and professional. Our space was treated with respect and I felt comfortable with everyone who came in. Any questions and concerns we had were not only answered quickly but addressed and resolved in a timely manner. Want makes them stand out? Communication? Certainly. Responsiveness? absolutely. But AGC goes beyond even that. They really care about delivering a great product and making sure you're happy. We ran into snafus along the way, and AGC not only handled the issues, but they anticipated the ensuing chaos and helped us stay comfortable throughout it all. We demoed during the winter and had to get the gas turned off until we jumped through the permit hoops, and AGC made sure that we had heat and warm showers each day. I had a brand new dishwasher delivered on the weekend and by 6 Sunday night realized I needed help as we were washing baby bottles in the bathroom sink. I put in a quote request on yelp just hoping someone would be able to come the next couple of days and not have to pay an insane rate. Within 30 minutes Alan with ACS messaged me. I explained the situation and crossed my fingers they could come out Monday. His partner, Geoff, was at my house within the hour. They took all the safety precautions and were really sweet to my son as he watched on to see what they were doing. Geoff had to go to the store to get a small part and was back quickly. They installed the dishwasher in a super timely manner and the price was extremely fair. I will definitely be contacting them in the future for home projects. We had a pretty tricky project trying to create one level throughout an old house. Our project started with a foundation repair before they came in so we had some other repairs as well. The AGC team handled the subflooring build out, baseboards, door casing adjustments, trim, some new bead board in a bathroom, a pine accent wall, sheetrock repairs, texture and painting. We had a few issues come about during the project but they were eager to correct anything we were concerned about to our satisfaction. Alan produced quick accurate quotes and Geoff was very hands on and commutative throughout the project. Anytime there was a concern, Geoff quickly worked with his crew to correct the issue. Working with AGC was great! They were on time and on budget. Once we talked about the details of the project, AGC was at the house starting the project the next day! We had the backyard porch covered with a vaulted wooden ceiling which they ran electricity and the gas line to. They also installed an outdoor ceiling fan. The crew was super nice and kept us updated throughout the project. They were able to find and use shingles on the porch that matched perfectly with our house's shingles. They provided a detailed project plan and timeline of what was going to be done when. The communication of when each payment was due after the various milestones of the project were completed was great. I bought a rental property in Round Rock and ACS helped with the preparation work needed to make the home rentable. The previous owners had a dog that destroyed a lot of the trim and the walls needed new paint. Jack and his team were able to get the entire job finished very quickly and made the house look brand new. The trim was repaired and the paint job was great.
