I chose Orlando West Painting because the pre-sales experience was efficient, courteous and transparent. It also didn't hurt that his interior and exterior quotes weren't the highest, or the lowest. His commercial general liability insurance also checked out. My home is on the new side, and the builder used "contractor grade" paint. As the second homeowner, I wanted my new home to look nice! Since I wasn't ready to have the interior repainted yet, I asked Antonio and his crew to tackle the exterior first. The first day, he sent two guys to pressure-wash the house and to prep the windows & trim with tape and protective plastic sheeting. Antonio was very careful to confirm my color and sheen selections, and to listen to my concerns. He was also articulate and patient when giving me his own professional opinions. I felt like I was in good hands. The next day, they got painting. The four-man crew took about 12 hours with two sprayers and two rollers to apply stucco conditioner (SW Loxon) and two coats of premium latex paint. About an hour into it, he found some new hairline stucco cracks on the second floor; he was able to fix that on-the-run with concrete patch and sealant. I also added something to the original scope of work (i.e., patio floors) but he was able to accommodate my request for a reasonable extra charge. It was very refreshing to work with a contractor who wasn't trying to hustle me in one way or another. For once, I felt like I received top notch quality service *and* quality at a fair price. [PS -- I'm going to re-post this review on another review site, for Antonio's sake.]

We spoke on Friday, completed a full walkthrough on Saturday, and his team arrived first thing Monday morning. They worked efficiently and professionally, finishing the entire project by Tuesday afternoon. Flawless prep --cleaning, sanding, and caulking and we used use high‑quality Sherwin‑Williams paint. We had five different companies provide estimates before him and every one of them was overpriced compared to the national average for the same scope of work. Antonio was the only one who offered a fair, reasonable price without cutting corners. Our house is beautiful , the communication was clear, and the professionalism was consistent from start to finish. I have already recommend Orlando West Painting.

His crew took a couple hours in the afternoon to prep my windows, doors, light fixtures, etc. Everything was covered properly. The next morning at 8 the crew got started right away painting the home (two story, 3000 sq ft). They were completed by 3-4PM. I made a last minute request to repaint my door in a different color and they had no problem accommodating that, he explained the additional cost and went out to get the paint. After they were finished painting they cleaned up all around my home and left it cleaner than it was! I am very happy with the results. I had a lot of painters provide quotes and there was always something that rubbed me the wrong way, from price to paint being used and their unwillingness to explain everything in full detail ON PAPER. I don't commit to anything unless it's written down properly on a paper contract (and neither should you). I didn't even need to ask for this it was just done right. This is why I went with US Painting. Organized and professional crew. I'd highly recommend them for painting jobs.

Once the roof was put on correctly, it seemed only appropriate that they put me in touch with an A+ Painter to fix their mistakes. Taylor, who owns the business, was personable, professional, and very communicative. Although he was hired by the roofer, he was unbiased in his judgment and always wanted to do the right by the consumer, even when it meant potentially losing the job when he had to inform the roofer that there was no way a simple patch job would hide the damage done and the entire ceiling and connected areas would need to be repainted to match and blend in without looking like crap. At the end of the day, I couldn't have been happier with Taylor, and he assured me that if at any point I was unhappy with his work, he would return. He also moonlights as a competent exterminator. While he was here, he caught the biggest huntsman spider I have ever seen in my life and removed it from my house. It was as big as my hand! I thought I was going to have to call the police. This man is not just a painter - he's a hero.

Their pricing was higher, but the quality to detail and respect for our property was completely worth it. First of all: Their communication regarding timeline and any delays was exceptional. They explained why delays occurred (primarily weather, which makes sense for Florida: painting over something wet will not stay on as long as something painted over dry). From when Diego and Nero arrived they were extremely kind and attentive. They took their time doing the taping, and then the detailed painting to ensure there were no flaws or possible leaks of different colors where they shouldn't have been. We have a screen enclosure that they had to remove a panel to paint part of the house, and they took care of scheduling someone to replace it once they finished, and included that price in our payment to them. We also purchased a different front door (they had originally agreed to paint the current one so it was in the price), and will be coming back out when the new door arrives to get it painted. Honestly, the price is worth the attention and care they provide to every client. And also the relationship between the owner and his employees makes it clear they don't feel rushed to finish rather than doing the job right. I highly recommend them, and we will definitely be hiring once we select our interior colors!

When it comes to painting an interior, different people look for different things. People selling a…read morehouse often look for the quickest and cheapest option - make it look good for sale and who cares what happens after. Those people would rarely choose ColorWorx. ColorWorx is for people who care about quality. People who plan to stay in their home and want the job done right, so they won't have to revisit painting for years to come. I chose ColorWorx initially because they specialize in cabinet refinishing, and I wanted that done properly - not just a simple paint job. Then I talked to Chris and came to realize that they could do a lot more than just simply painting. They could update the hardware in the cabinets and add pull-out shelves. They could take down some ugly wall-size mirrors in the bathroom that I really didn't like. They could fix drywall from some electrical work where I hadn't yet arranged for the drywall repair. They could do some tile-work for part of the area uncovered by the removed mirror. The fact that they could handle a broad array of tasks meant I didn't have to chase down and coordinate multiple vendors. I didn't realize at the time how important that would be. Though my condo is not large, it was a big job - the walls had not been treated kindly over the years, and I wanted it to look as much as possible "like new" before I moved in. The time and effort they put into the prep work was amazing. And then, they found some drywall damage from moisture. My first thought was to panic - but it turns out they could handle that as well. They ripped out the damaged drywall, sealed the concrete block, replaced the insulation, and closed it all up again. Yes, it did delay the job by a couple of weeks (that kind of work takes time as you need to make sure everything is dry), but I didn't have to worry about it, and the added cost was quite reasonable. Another painter might have just painted over the problem and never told me about it. Not ColorWorx. And then there's the attention to detail. I have a number of bi-fold closet doors - two of which did not close properly. I never mentioned them, yet before they left, the doors worked perfectly. As for the results of the painting and cabinet finishing - outstanding. One thing I liked is that most (if not all) of the people who showed up actually work for ColorWorx - they aren't random 3rd party contractors brought in for the job. And I was told they keep their people by paying them decent wages - which I believe. And yes, that is reflected in the price - as I hinted at in the beginning - if you're looking for the cheapest option, you're not likely to go with ColorWorx. But if you're looking for the best option - they should be at the top of your list. Special kudos to Alejandro, Julio, Jose, Yosi and Nilsa and maybe a couple of others whose names I missed. They took care of my place as if it were their own. Alejandro in particular has an amazing eye for detail and quality - spotting and taking care of issues I probably never would have noticed. And thanks of course to Chris and Julie (the owners) - despite being very busy, they consistently responded to Emails and texts promptly - sometimes immediately, but always within a few hours.

They have painted together for 26 years. And they made painting look ever so easy! I asked for a quote for my two story home as well as a quote for just the bottom floor-- both interiors. (No exterior work.) I later decided that I'd hire this couple to paint just the main floor because I can pretty easily paint the top floor myself... & I always like saving money. They came out & asked me questions, checked the square footage of the area I wanted painted, & took notes, etc. Within two days, I was provided with two written quotes (emailed to me). The work was scheduled, & they competed the job as promised over a 2.5 day period. (I didn't need to be home while they worked.) They not only completed the painting, they did a phenomenal job! I honestly cannot find one mistake on any wall or baseboard, & the tiny flaws on a few pieces of trim I easily corrected myself (although they would have quickly driven over to do it-- they texted immediately to see if I was happy w/ the end results.) Just incredible painting! They even painted my tall stairwell beautifully & hung a new (old) mid-century painting for me high on the wall -- see pic. Then they gratiously returned all my furniture to its original locations. This couple uses Sherwin Williams paint. They bring all their supplies & clean up their wares nightly. My home looked cleaner after they left...lol. I can't express how impressed I am with their preparation, painting, professionalism & work ethic! Not one speck of paint on my floors! Soooo impressed! I put down a deposit of 25% via personal check, & paid the balance via debit card (over the phone) after the work was completed. Had I used my credit card, there would have been a 3% charge to cover their credit fees, which is often standard for non-commercial painters. Why did I subtract .5 stars? Because they quoted a price, but erred when providing the estimate; they neglected to ask me the paint color I wanted for the baseboards, trim, & doors. Because I didn't select basic white, a second coat would be needed, which meant I needed to pay an additional $210-- that I had originally not been quoted. To be fair, they should have split the difference w/ me, but I can't fault them for wanting compensation for the extra paint & time. And I am very satisfied with the end results. Would DEFINITELY use this couple again! Have never seen better painting-- almost flawless! And their price was less than a popular competitor's estimate.
