Both expressed sincere apologies for the missed appointment and explained it was due to simple clerical error. While I have already engaged another in-home care service, it's clear to me that Oasis cares about their reputation and client experience. The occupational therapists would schedule an appointment but then cancel on the day and this was a month from when he got home. Talking with the coordinator was a joke because either he was non responsive to my calls or just not there. In other words don't use this service if you want your loved one needs in-home help!!

Jaja (the care coordinator) delayed what should have been a routine urinalysis by twenty days. Her behavior was unprofessional, unpleasant and uncaring 100%. I asked for her supervisor Josie to call me which never happened. Today I finally got to speak with Ena, the Director of Medical Care only to be "redirected " to another home health agency. Again, 100% unprofessional behavior. If the director of medical care penalizes a patient for advocating for her well being and health, imagine how the rest of the staff behave. I asked to speak with Ulysses (the director of this agency) and I was not able to do so. I would never recommend this agency and if I could give them zero stars I would. But that's not an option.

My hospital stay at San Antonio Hospital contracted with Adept Home/Health Services last week after…read moremy hospital stay for home care. They showed up as agreed per the appointment but was not prepared to handle my exact medical issue. I advised them that the doctor updated my file and their contract info. on my release from the hospital. The health care lady (Suzanne) called her boss (Maureen Hyams) and asked me various questions and upon trying to answer her questions, she cut me off each time to give her analysis. I could not talk for 5 seconds to answer he questions which means she did not want to hear anything I had to say regarding my medical situation and history. After 20 minutes of this type of communication, I had enough. Not only was I in pain, discomfort and looking for professional home health care assistance that I was paying for, but tired and now confused. I immediately fired them, called San Antonio Hospital and filed a complaint who advised me that they updated Adept Home Health Services on my situation and don't know why they were not prepared to assist me. I was re-assigned a new Home Health Care company to assist me that came out the next day and assisted me based on my medical problem and hospital information. Beware of anyone or any company who you hire to assist you that is not only un-prepared but will not listen to your comments or answers to questions that they ask !!!!
