I consider myself fortunate to have found this honest company. My 2-car garage door was stuck off track. The cable needed repair (bearings) and possibly the spring. I called six garage door companies and most had a service fee to come out. No one wanted to give me an estimate over the phone. Eventually one company did send a rep and his estimate was $350 for the cable repair and another $300 for the spring, plus tax. I made one more call and dialed Agape. I think the owner answered and gave me an estimate over the phone for the repair of the cable (bearing) and springs which was lower. Agape sent a repair person out and was at my home in a couple of hours. The cables were fixed, door was aligned back on track, and I was told my springs were fine. Final cost was $225. I definitely recommend Agape Overhead Doors. Finally, I was also asking garage door vendors what their starting prices were for replacement doors, and Agape was also the least expensive here. We had a garage door opener that was badly acting up, would just randomly open itself, would close itself when trying to use it or just get stuck partially open and quit. We called Agape yesterday and told them what was going on and they said it sounded like the motor in the opener had gone bad. He told us they were really booked up but because it was also a security issue, that they could squeeze us in around 10am today, which was great news. The technician then gave us a call this morning a couple hours before he was due to arrive to let us know what to expect for timing, which is ALWAYS appreciated that way you aren't waiting around in a forever window. The technician arrived 15 minutes ahead of when he said he would. He verified the motor was definitely bad and replaced all the tracks and hangers as well as new unit, two new remotes and a new wall button. He even programmed the cars to it without being asked! Everything was secure and neat and when he was done in just over an hour, you couldn't even tell he was there meaning there was no garbage left behind etc. The cost was probably in line with market but for what we received and how quickly we received it was worth it! Sent message through yelp and was told to contact Gary. Contacted Gary and set appointment. Gary called and said that he couldn't make it and reschedule for the next day. Gary was a no call, no show. Definitely not a dependable company and will not be using them in the future. A company like this won't last long. read more

After waiting for two days for the original installer, Wayne Dalton, to show up, I found Agape's recommendation on NextDoor. I called Gary at around 4:30 in the evening and he sent Wes out the next morning at 10 a.m. Wes immediately diagnosed problem - springs worn out - and secured parts for an install at 9:00 the next morning. I requested that he wear his face mask to come through the house, and he was happy to do so. In less than an hour the springs had been converted to the customary design, eliminating the Wayne Dalton tube design, saving us hundreds of dollars. We had Agape Overhead doors come out and replace our double garage door...the whole unit. We had a new opener installed as well. I can tell you that it has been perfect. A friend recommended them. We had a lot of issues with the previous door. I think our previous door was not hung correctly and we had to replace it. I'm so impressed with Agape. They were professional, no drama, great attitude and we had a great experience from start to finish. I have used Agape for my garage door repairs since 1993. I have recommended them to anybody who asks if I know of a reliable company. My neighbor had a garage door that snapped and of course, I said call Agape. While they were at her home, I asked the repairman to take a look at my strip on one side of my doors..It looked crooked. He said I will repair it for you. Just needed a screw, but didn't even charge me. I was at my neighbors home and never got to even say thank you to him. What an amazing company and not one review. Unfortunately our oversized garage door bracket and strut broke and required a new panel, bracket, and strut however panels were hard to get. I did some research on costs and repairmen and discovered Agape Garage Doors here in Humble, Tx. I went to the business to see where it was, look at the facility to ensure it was not a fly by night operation, and had the opportunity to meet the owner Gary. After discussing the issue, he gave me a tour of his warehouse, saw some garage doors, insulated panels, and discussed how long it would take and final cost. Gary came over to the house the following morning and reviewed the process and cost, provided me via email an estimate and installation date. I was pleased that he scheduled the install soon, the price, and the exceptional service by his installer Eric. My gosh when the owner said it would take about two hours to install that was unbelievable. Eric (installer) arrived on time, had all his tools, and was in and out in about two hours and ten minutes. Our door broke at 4:30 pm on a Friday and without being fixed we would not be able to close it. We called Agape Garage Doors and a gentleman was here to fix it by 5:00. We have had the door worked on before but this was by far the BEST repair, it actually is like new (and it's 20 years old). It was HOT out but that did not stop the repairman from being very thorough and doing a GREAT JOB!
